Uchiha's Butterfly

Kaname and Anko stood behind their Hokage sitting on a sofa in an office. Before them sat a man in white-green mirrored kage outfit. The Yondaime Kazekage was in his mid-twenties, he had auburn long-spiky hair, his face was showing a stern look.

"Welcome in Sunagakure, Hiruzen-dono" he scanned the old-man with his eyes. Then his piercing eyes turned to Anko, Kaname and finally on Naruto.

"Thank you for inviting me for the exams Rasa-dono"

"Hmm, if I may ask, why did you bring a young boy on a journey through the desert? It's not a place for someone so young." Naruto flinched under his stare, but a second later his sister's palm on his back calmed him down.

"Huhuhu, it was the only chance to bring Kaname-san and Anko-san with me. Don't worry about it Rasa-dono"

"Hoo, I heard about the Vampire of Konoha" Kaname's eye twitched, "Like always you love to surround yourself with kunoichis Hiruzen-dono"

"It's one of the last p.l.e.a.s.u.r.es I have being an old man. Saying that I'm sorry for your loss"

"Thank you, it happens to the best of us. Pakura! Guide our guests to my mansion" Rasa called out.

"As you wish Kazekage-sama" kunoichi shunshined to his side and bowed her head.

She was a tall woman in her early twenties, her figure matched Anko's. Pakura was fair-skinned with light brown eyes, she had green hair tied in a bun, her face was framed by orange hair tips.

"Follow me, esteemed guests"

"Hello Pakura-kun, I didn't see you for a long time. How does life in Suna treat you?" Sarutobi asked the woman when they left the office.

"Nice to see you again in here Hokage-sama. And once again no, I will not join Konohagakure, I love the sun." she replied.

"Pity, we could use as many capable kunoichis as we can. Say, how is Rasa-dono, he seemed distant?"

"*Sigh* Just between us, after Karura-sama's death Yondaime became… I won't say ruthless, but there is a coldness hidden in his eyes, he is especially cold to his kids."

"I thought so as well, not many people can remain the same after the love of their life dies"

"Before we enter, I have a warning for all of you, especially you Kaname-chan" Pakura stopped them before the entry to Hokage's mansion.

"Yes?"

"Kazekage-sama has three kids, there were… complications, during the birth of the youngest one, he is the same age as this cute blonde tot you have on your arm. The kid's name is Gaara, I can't tell you the exact reason, but he has panic attacks that end up with people dying around him. Please keep your child safe, okay?"

"Thank you for the warning. Do you want me to look at Gaara-kun? I'm one of the best medics in Konoha"

"I would love to, but you can't, not with my permission. You would need Yondaime-sama's and his caretaker's agreement to do anything Kaname-chan"

"... So Gaara is a jinchūriki? Which one… Ah, you have got a lot of Sand so probably the One-tail, right?" Kaname asked.

"How did you..." Pakura's eyes went wide.

"*Sigh* She did it again" Anko deadpanned.

"Pakura-kun, let's say Kaname is really good at putting up facts together to draw out most likely hidden truths" Hokage explained.

"That's a village S-class secret, you will have to stay for a little while longer in our T&I-"

"A secret for a secret, Naruto-chan is one as well" Kaname interrupted her and patted Naruto's head.

"Hey! It was supposed to be a secret!" Hokage shouted at her.

"Meh, the entire a.d.u.l.t population of Konoha knows he is one, our enemies know it, why shouldn't our allies know it?"

"Hahaha, that's the Kana-chan I know. How did you survive not dressing down the Kazekage-san for calling you with the nickname?" Anko laughed out loud.

"Barely…"

"Eh? So which Bijuu- NINE?" Pakura jumped away with a kunai in her hand.

"Hehe, you know what Kana-chan? It was worthy to see the look of fear and incomprehension on Pakura's face" Hokage laughed.

"Hokage-sama, please come here. I can't even imagine how much damage a nine-tails can do" Pakura took a defensive position standing before the Hokage.

"Heh, you see Hentai-sama? I'm not needed here, Pakura-san will protect you in my place" Kaname laughed, "Calm down, Naruto-chan is mentally stable, he wouldn't hurt a fly" she was tickling the blonde while explaining it.

"But how?! If One-tail can bring a baby to psychosis, then shouldn't the much more powerful nine-tail kill your kid already?"

"First, put down the kunai Pakura-san, it's not needed. Secondly, I would die first than let Kyubi do any harm to Naruto. Thirdly, I can't say what is happening with little Gaara if nobody lets me look at him"

"*Sigh* I understand" Pakura hid the kunai, "I never saw Gaara show anything else than anger, fear, and pain on his face. But … seeing Naruto-chan's goofy smile I can't to not believe you. I will talk with Kazekage-sama, I will try to persuade him to let you check Gaara" she promised.

"Okay, I can't promise I can be of help, but I doubt it can harm your village."

"I know. But Yondaime-sama is… stubborn. Doesn't matter, let's enter now, I will introduce you to Kazekage's family"

"One more thing, there is a price - you and me tomorrow sparring"

"Hehe, with p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e Kaname-chan" Pakura replied opening the doors.

Inside the three-story building the first thing Kaname noticed was a lot of sand inside, it was falling down like a waterfall from higher floors. Then she saw three people working to get the sand out of the building. A six years old girl with a dark purple garment, blonde hair with four consecutive pigtails was closest to them.

"What has happened Temari-chan?" Pakura asked.

"Gaara had another attack"

"Any casualties?"

"Not this time Pakura-sama. Who are they?"

"This is Hokage-sama and his guards, they came from Konohagakure for the exams, but… I think the guest rooms are filled with sand aren't they?"

"We don't know, we couldn't get through the corridor as of yet" A rather delicate man's voice replied, soon from stairs showed up a new member of the family, sand-blonde hair, fair-skin, and teal eyes, he wore a simple dark-blue kimono.

"Yashamaru-kun, do you know what sparked off another attack?"

'Kun? He is a man?' Kaname thought.

"No, Gaara-kun was alone in his room. Then we heard him scream and we got flooded. Hello Hokage-sama, I'm sorry but I doubt the room for you and your ninjas will be ready tonight." he shook his head.

"He is a sibling to the dead Kazekage-sama's wife and Gaara's caretaker" Pakura whispered seeing Kaname's confusion written on her face.

"It's not a problem Yashamaru-dono. We will look for a place in one of the hotels for two days" Sarutobi replied.

"Thank you for understanding" Yashamaru bowed his head.

"Look out! Gaara is leaving his room!" a brown-haired five-year-old kid shouted out from the third floor running down the steps.

Then the mountain of sand blocking the third floor exploded, from it came a small boy with tears in his teal eyes. Kaname noticed a striking resemblance between him and his father, but those light teal eyes were surely after his mother. The sand started rotating around him creating three rings.

"Mother says to kill… Someone is like me, I must kill" the young boy was clutching his head in pain, he scanned the people down below, his teal eyes stopped at Naruto.

"Boy, I must kill…"

"Yashamaru-san, Hokage-san. Can I calm Gaara-chan, it should give you at least a day of peace" Kaname asked.

"What do you want to do?" Yashamaru asked.

"I'm an Uchiha, I can make his tenant sleep"

"How do you-"

"Yashamaru-kun, I believe in her" Pakura added.

"Okay, but I have you in my sight" he replied.

"Do it Kana-chan" Hokage ordered.

Kaname's eyes instantly became red with three-black lilies inside of each of them, she looked straight into Gaara's eyes.

"Silence? Mother? Where are you?" the boy wasn't sure what's happening, the sand around him fell.

"What was that Kaname-chan?" Pakura asked.

"Had a small meeting with One-tail, did you know he is prideful as hell? By the way, Ichibi's name is Shukaku. Let's say I sang him a song to make him sleep, Gaara-chan will have some peace for the next 24 hours." Kaname explained.

"This dōjutsu of yours is cheating Kana-chan"

"Yeah, I know Anko-chan. I tried it a couple of times on the Kyubi, Ichibi is only an overgrown rat in terms of difficulty."

"What?! Kana-chan it is dangerous to tinker around the seal!" Hokage shouted at her.

"It's one hell of a one, I still do not understand how it works, Minato-san has outdone himself on it. Nine-tails isn't happy with me either, if he somehow gets out I will be on the top of his shitlist, hehe."

"What are they talking about?" Yashamaru whispered to Pakura.

"Don't worry about it, take care of Gaara-kun for now."

"*Sigh* Kana-chan, are you sure you know what you are doing and you won't inflict catastrophe on Konoha?"

"I do, I will not stop until the Kyubi begins to willingly work with him" she replied.

"I believe you, it was Minato's plan and he gave him to you. Just please be careful"

"Okay, stop talking in cipher, you lost me when you compared the Bijuu to a rat," Pakura said.

"Don't worry I feel lost as well" Anko added.

"It was supposed to be this way, but I believe you understood more than you're telling Pakura-san. Just please don't propagate it everywhere, report it only to Kazekage-sama" Kaname pleaded.

"I promise, so the Minato and blonde?" Pakura asked.

Kaname winked in response.

"I see we have another sharp one" Sarutobi added.

"I still don't understand what are you talking about" Anko replied hurt.

The next day Kaname woke up when she heard someone knocking on her hotel room doors, opening them she noticed Anko's face smiling at her.

"Ready for some training? Pakura-chan asked me to wake you up"

"*Yawn* Sure give me a minute Anko, I need to wake Naruto-chan up"

Kaname lightly shook his arm, the boy woke up grumbling under his nose.

"Do you want to stay in bed or go with me to sparring Naruto-chan?" Kaname whispered.

The boy was unsure, his head was turning between Kaname and his pillow, after a moment he took a pillow into his hand and raised his other hand towards her with his eyes still closed.

"We will have to beat this laziness out of you soon Naruto-chan" Kaname put him on her arm and left the apartment.

"Training me?" the boy asked.

"When we will return I will show you the basics, how about that?"

"Hehe, Sasa is bestest" he laughed sleepily hugging her head.

Five minutes later they reached the training grounds, inside Pakura was waiting for them.

"I'm first, sit down for now Kana-chan" Anko stated.

"Whatever, good luck Anko"

Kaname moved to the benches placed around the training area, took Naruto's pillow and let him lie down on her l.a.p with her lightly patting his head.

"Let's watch how fast aunty Anko get's her a.s.s kicked"

"Okay" he murmured.

Anko started the fight by launching a torrent of dark-green poisonous snakes from her hand towards the woman. Pakura dodged the attack by jumping away from the snakes and throwing a kunai aimed at her heart. Anko threw her own blade kicking both of them out of harm's way, looking beneath the flying kunais she noticed Pakura charging at her in insane speed. She barely dodged the opening punch, but the following kick broke through her block before she understood what happened she felt her legs losing connection with the ground. Before she got floored another punch straight into her unprotected belly sent her flying.

'I need to slow her down, she is way too fast!' Anko thought hurriedly collecting herself from the ground.

Before she stood up Pakura was right behind her, the snake mistress felt a kick from the behind of her knees, it made her fall on the ground again, she rolled herself trying to gain as much distance as possible.

"<Jagei Jubaku>!" (Binding Snake Glare)

From her hands, two thick snakes shot up binding Pakura that was a hair-breadth away from hitting Anko. The snakes constricted around the woman's body.

"I won Kana-chan!" Anko turned to her friend, then she saw Kana pointing her finger at her. She turned her head half a second later when she heard a sizzling sound and felt her summons die, the next thing she saw was a fist closing in on her face. She tried to block it, but she was too slow.

'Ugh...Two...One, Lights out!' Anko got knocked out.

"Good fight Pakura-san!" Kaname approached them checking for any injuries they could acquire. After making double sure Anko was alright, she lied her down on the bench near Naruto.

"So what were these floating balls?"

"My own Kekkei Genkai" (Bloodline Limit)

"Looks like a merge between wind and fire natures"

"Yep, I'm calling it the Scorching Release. Ready?" Pakura took the combat position.

"Whenever you are" Kaname activated her Sharingan.
