Uchiha's Butterfly

"Hello" Kaname greeted two guards standing in front of Hyuga district. Both of them had pale white eyes and were in their late twenties.

"Hoo, and what an Uchiha like you and her demon are doing here?" Kaname's stare made the mean guard flinch.

"I should kill you on the spot for speaking aloud about S-class secret, but it would look shitty in my record. I'm here because the Hyuga matriarch asked me to meet with her."

"Kaname-sama, please follow me" pleaded the second guard with a Konoha protector masking his forehead.

"I'm sorry for his conduct, his father is one of the Elders in our clan, the idiot thinks he is allowed to do anything in the clan without repercussions" the guard apologized escorting Kaname inside the district.

"Not a problem, it's not the first time I'm dealing with pompous asses. Say… Do I know you?"

"You saved my life in Kusa Kaname-sama" he bowed.

"Stop with the '-sama', I'm at least ten years younger than you, it's just weird…"

"As you wish Kaname-sama" he winked at her.

'Hyuga with a shadow of humor…' She thought.

"Here we are… Shiori-sama you have a guest" the guard said after opening the sliding doors just a bit.

"Is it Kana-chan?"

"Good luck and have a nice day Kaname-sama" he opened the doors and let Kaname in.

"Thank you" she replied.

"Kana-chan, it's nice to see you again" the woman replied while playing with her little daughter on a blanket.

"Hi, Shiori-san. Naruto-chan go play with Hin0?" she didn't finish before Naruto was near the girl.

"Huhu, Kana-chan shouldn't we play a little matchmaking game between those two?" Shiori gently laughed.

"Meh, they're still too young"

"You never know, If Naru-chan will develop the same way his father did, then he will be one hell of a hunk. More than half of the female population of Konoha was aiming for his father."

"Crazy fangirls, I will die before I will let Naruto-chan go out with one"

"Huhuhu, that's why I'm giving him a chance to procure one of the future princesses of Konoha. Isn't it a good match? Son of a late king and a princess"

"*Pft* never thought about it like that." Kaname snorted.

"We will return to this topic later Kana-chan, let's return to the main reason you are here."

At this moment Kaname was hugged from behind.

"Nice to hear your voice Kana"

"Hello to you too Misa, I was thinking why were you trying to hide from me"

"Huhu, I thought it would be easier for you to work with Misa on the case," Shiori explained.

"It is easier. But I did the basic research on her Caged Bird seal years ago. I need to see the formula you use to put the seal, not the finished product."

"Hmm, it will be rather hard to show you the formula. It's one of the clan's secrets"

"That's why we needed someone high-ranked in the clan"

"So that's why you met me this morning… Okay, give me a moment" Shiori took a deep breath, "HIASHI! GET YOUR ARSE OVER HERE!" yelled out.

"Eh?" Kaname was perplexed to see such a kind-looking woman yell.

A moment later Hyuga Clan Leader entered the room.

'Wait a moment I saw the same thing before… Damn… Just like her former teammates, she has her husband under her thumb' Kaname thought.

"Yes Honey?" Hiashi asked.

"This is Kana-chan, she is the second-best expert after Jiraya-san on seals"

"Yes, we know each other" he bowed his head.

"Hello Hiashi-sama" Kaname responded.

"We need to see the formula for the Caged Bird Seal" Shiori explained.

"But the Hierarchy would roast my a.s.s for this Honey"

"*Sigh* Dear, do you want to change this clan or not?"

"...Okay, give me a moment, I will get it" he replied leaving the room.

"Why does he want to change the clan customs?" Kaname asked.

"We're aiming for a second baby, but remembering the rivalry he and his twin had, he is thinking of abolishing the use of the seal in our clan"

Five minutes later Hiashi entered again with a scroll in his hand.

"Here you go Kaname-san. Check if it is possible to remove the seal" he pleaded.

'What the f.u.c.k is this?' Kaname brainstormed after a single look at the doodles.

"Who the heck created this?" she asked.

"We don't know, our clan received this from a sealing grandmaster, we were using this seal from the times before the Shodai" Hiashi answered.

"I doubt that. It's either someone that wanted to hurt your clan or read a 'DIY: Become a seal master in an hour' book"

"What do you mean Kana-chan?" Shiori asked.

"Someone created this botched seal not knowing what he is doing, as I understand from those doodles he wanted to seal the eyes containing the Byakugan after the user dies. He did but the creator of this seal completely omitted how the seal should be powered, so it most likely takes power from the biggest chakra source near, namely the brain. Bah, I could easily create a seal that let me control the activation of this shitty job, making more than half of the Hyuga's ineffective against me. Let me guess, Misa when someone activates the seal you feel a head-splitting pain coming from the inside of your head?"

"Yep, Main Branch members like to see they have control over our lives" Misa replied.

"Hey, don't stare like that Hiashi-sama. I believe one of your ancestors liked the hold he had over his clan members and started to put a seal on everyone in the clan."

"Is it possible to alter the seal, without losing the protection it gives?" Shiori asked.

"First, what protection? Not talking about snake-bastard, I'm willing to believe someone else already stole the Byakugan. Second, it has taken hold very deep in everyone's brains, the forehead tattoo is only a small physical representation of it… *Sigh* Maybe with time and help from Jiraya-san we could work something out"

"Is it that hard to delete this seal?" Misa asked.

"Sealing is easy once you know what you are doing. Unsealing is hard, extremely hard if you don't know what you are working with. But altering already put up seals is another story, I need to be sure that my work won't activate the seal and fry your brain Misa" Kaname explained.

"You have got time Kaname-san, it won't be easy to persuade those old fools to the change" Hiashi replied.

"I will do everything in my power to finish the job. Now for the payment" Kaname said with a smirk.

"Payment?" he asked.

"Yeah, stop putting this seal on your clan members, it causes division in your clan, making it weaker than it should be," Kaname replied, Shiori's smile gave her approval.

"... The elders will raise hell"

"Deal with them Hiashi-sama, are you the clan leader or they are? Why the heck all clan leaders are scared by a bunch of old fossils?!"

"*Sigh* I understand"

"Kana, there is one more seal for you to look at," Misa said.

"Eh? Where?"

"Anko got one, we're not sure what it does. She spent a lot of time in T&I department because of it."

"Okay, do you mind a little walk Misa?" Kaname asked.

"Let's go"

"Thank you for meeting with me, I will start working on the new seal as soon as possible. Goodbye." Kaname bowed her head.

"Come whenever you want Kana-chan, especially with my future son-in-law, huhuhu"

"Wait what?!" Hiashi shouted out.

"*Sigh* I will leave the explanations for you Shiori-san. Bye." Kaname intertwined her arm around Misa's, scooped Naruto and they slowly left the Hyuga district behind.

"So Anko-chan is in the T&I department?"

"Yep, she works there. It seems she is good at interrogating"

"Heh, who would have thought. Let's just leave Naruto-chan with my mom."

Twenty minutes later they entered the dungeons under the Hokage mountain.

"Hello Take-kun" Kaname greeted her former teammate working as one of the guards.

(AN: No I didn't forget about him… really I did not! Okay, maybe a little bit :-) )

"Good evening Kana-chan, hello to you too Misa-chan" he replied.

"Can you show us where can we find Anko? I need to take her away or a couple of minutes"

"Gods yes! Bring that troublesome woman as far away as possible. Follow me"

Walking inside the screams of torture became louder and louder until they stopped before the doors of someone wailing.

"Give me a moment and stay here" Takeshi responded entering through the doors.

"Oups, I think I broke him, are you bringing me to the next prisoner? Eh-?" Anko walked out after Takeshi.

"I see you're having fun Anko, should we come here later?" Kaname asked only to be jumped on and hugged by an Anko faking a koala hug.

"Hehe, nice to see you both. But why are you here?" the brown-eyed girl asked.

"It seems you got a nasty little snake bite on your arm, I came here to check it"

"Nah, don't worry about it" Anko replied.

"Anko, you were complaining about the pain coming from the seal, not talking about the sleepless nights you experienced because of it" Misa commented.

"Damn, I shouldn't tell you about this…"

"Take-kun, find us a silent empty room. Anko is the seal in a three-tomoe shape?"

"Yep, how did you know?"

"Let's just say I saw it before"

"So he successfully recreated it? D*ck, he experimented on hundreds of people to put the same seal, all of them died, except me"

"So do you know how this seal works?"

"Nope, he explained only that it holds a part of his power that I can tap into using my emotions"

"Did you try it?"

"Never, just the thought of his power controlling my mind and body drives me to nausea"

"Okay, thanks, Take-kun. Now if you don't mind, leave us. I know you would want to check out Anko without her mesh suit but you can do it later" Kaname smirked at him.

"Shut up you troublesome woman!" he left the room with a red blush on his cheeks.

"Now take it off" Kaname ordered.

"*Cough* Kana, do you want to do it here?" Anko replied with a sultry voice. In response, Kaname rolled her eyes.

"Hehe, someday I will get you" Anko laughed pulling off her suit.

"Hmm, two things, your seal looks much less developed than the ones I saw, so like you said it's the first iteration. The second, what the f*ck do you eat to grow them so big?"

"Dango?"

"... With the amount of Dango you eat, you will get fat in the future. *Sigh* Clench your teeth, I will send a pulse of chakra into the seal, it will sting"

"Ouch!"

"Wait a moment. I feel the snake-bastard's chakra, but it is minuscule, the second one, where did I feel it before…" Kaname brainstormed for a moment, "SON OF A BITCH!" she yelled out.

"What has happened?" Misa asked.

"There is only one source of chakra potent enough to inflict the mutation of a body on the level this seal does"

"Which is?"

"He somehow got hold of Kyuubi's chakra, but… Oh for f*ck's sake. I need to talk with Hokage right now. Anko-chan I will put an Evil Containment Seal on top of snake-bastard's. It will stop the pain and nightmares as long as you won't try to use his seal. Okay?"

"Okay, but what about the Kyubi part?"

"<Fuja Hōin>!" Kaname swiftly put up a new seal, "You know my Naruto-chan is the Kyubi's Jinchuriki?"

"Yep, I like the kid"

"Not many know he holds only half of its chakra" Kaname explained.

"What about the second part?" Anko asked.

"Oh my god…"

"I see Misa understands, she will explain. I need to go to see Hokage right now. I will see you two later" Kaname shunshin'ed away. Two minutes later she jumped into Hokage's office.

"Sarutobi-sama, we have got a problem!" she shouted out.

"*Sigh* I have got a meeting at the moment" he replied pointing at Danzo.

He looked at her with anger in his eyes. Kaname's eyes flashed red making Danzo fall asleep.

"Okay, now he is under my genjutsu. We must talk Hokage-sama"

"Eh? He won't be happy when he wakes up"

"I don't care. Is it true that Minato-san sealed half of Kyubi's chakra inside his body?"

"Yes, but why-"

"Please just answer the questions, it's important. Shinigami took Minato's soul in exchange for dividing and sealing Kyubi into two bodies right?"

"I think so, we found traces of Kyubi's chakra inside Minato's body"

"Where is his grave right now?"

"It's safe in a secret spot, you know I can't tell you where"

"*Sigh* Please listen, couple minutes ago I studied the seal on Anko's arm, the one Orochimaru placed. Full activation of it mutates the body giving the user a powerup"

"Yes, I read the report"

"Poking through the seal I felt two sources of chakra, one of them belonged to the Snake, the second I believe is the source of mutation, and it's Kyubi's"

"But Naruto didn't leave- I understand, follow me," Old man said.

They left the office and headed towards the Hokage's Mountain. After reaching the top, Sarutobi used a set of hand seals opening a secret entrance into the mountain.

"This is the Hokages catacombs, Kaname-chan. Careful on those stairs, it's a dark corridor" Old-man took a torch into his hand and delved into the dark cold pit.

Kaname was almost sure that they went all the way beneath the mountain, the corridor opened to a chamber. On its end, Kaname noticed three statues and graves beneath them.

"They look untouched"

"I don't want to, but I feel I need to check underground. Can I?"

"*Sigh* Dead should be left in peace Kana-chan, but if it's true… Do it" he ordered.

"<Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu> (Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique)" Kaname slowly dived in the ground near Minato's grave hoping she would see his coffin.

Ten seconds later her head showed itself from the ground.

"It's empty Sarutobi-sama…" Kaname looked at the two graves lying near and plunged again.

"They're all empty, there are no coffins whatsoever" Kaname reported.

"What has he done... There should be at least five coffins here…" Sarutobi replied with a hurt in his voice.

"Five? You mean Mito and Kushina's coffins should be here as well?"

"*Sigh* Yes he desecrated even their corpses. He got so low in his life to even attempt a grave robbing… I should kill him when I had the chance"

"No Sarutobi-sama, killing him won't teach him the wrongness he has done. I will torture him so much pain that a Millenium spent in the Shinigami's belly would look like a paradise to him!" Kaname growled out with a single black tear dropping from her eye.
