The Villainess 'Simple' Life

"How are you so sure that I have someone that I treasure." The second prince said.

"I don't know, I'm just curious." Lyra still had on that curious look.

The second prince became amused. "Haha, who do you think I love then?"

"How should I know." Lyra shrugged. They arrived at the fish pond but they saw someone else there, it was the 5th princess who was normally always sick, the 5th princess turned to them. "What are you doing here, brother and who's this?"

From the perspective of Lila, she saw her brother along with a girl who looks like a goddess. Lila loves beauty and Lyra was precisely the definition of beauty to Lila. Her eyes were glowing like she saw her long-time lover

"Greetings, 5th princess, my name is Lyra Clarke."

"Oh." Lila kept staring at Lyra. "Miss, it's time for your medicine." The nanny for the 5th princess said.

"Okay, I'll be right back! Please don't go anywhere!" The 5th princess said to Lila. Lila nodded.

"How did you know she was the 5th princess, she was rarely shown to the public."

'Why does he keep questioning me, it's annoying.'

"Hm? My father showed me all the pictures of the Royal Family." Lila once again gave him an innocent smile.

"Oh." The second prince himself doesn't know why he's interested in this child. It's not interest in the form of love, rather interest in the form of like having someone that understands you.

Since the second prince was born, he was told that he was a disappointment to the Royal Family, no one told him in person but they all said that behind his back. So he learned how to hide his fangs and instead, acted like a foolish player.

'There's alway one character in the game that's like this.' Lyra thought to herself. She suddenly remembered that the prince next to her was also a character in the game. But the strange thing was, she never saw him with the heroine, wasn't he... a capture target?'

"Are you and the crown prince close?" Lyra asked even though she already knew the answer.

"Hm, you could say that we're okay. Not close nor distant with each other."

"What do you mean by that?" Lyra titled her head.

"Since we're not from the same mother, there's alway going to be a weird tension between us."

"Oh."

"I'm back!" Lila walked over to them and took Lyra's hand. Lila's eyes were sparkling so much. 'What a beauty.' She thought to herself.

"You're the prettiest girl I've ever met!" Lila said to Lyra. .

"Thank you, Princess-"

"Please call me Lila."

"Then thank you, Lila." Lyra gave Lila a big smile.

"I will call you Lyra then!"

Lyra nodded her head. Lila leaded her to a table near the fish pond where the most beautiful view could be seen.

"Which family are you from?"

"The family of Duke Clarke ."

"Ohh, no wonder you're so beautiful! The Duke is a man that is handsome and the Duchess is a beauty."

Lyra almost choked on her tea. 'Should a child be saying these things?'

Lila continued on. "Lyra, how old are you?"

"I'm 5."

"I'm two years older than you!" Lila giggled.

'This girl is too innocent.' Lyra glanced at the second prince. 'No wonder, her brother looks like he will beat anyone who tries to mess with her.'

Lyra heard some footsteps that sounded like her brother's and sister's. And she was correct, her siblings along with the siblings from the Fotiá Empire were walking towards them.

"So this is where you were, we were worried." Violet said.

"I'm fine, I'm just talking to Lila and the second prince." Lyra replied.

That's when they saw that the 2nd prince and the 5th princess was also there.

"Greetings to the 2nd prince and the 5th princess." The four of them said.

The second prince nodded while Lila smile happily. "Would you like to join us?" Lila asked.

Seeing nothing wrong, the four of them agreed.

They talked for a few hours before Lyra noticed that it was almost sunset. "Ah, it's almost sunset. We should go look for mother and father now." Oliver nodded in agreement.

"Aww, okay." Violet said. "We should also go too, brother." Hazel said to Kyst. Kyst nodded.

"If you would excuse us, it was a pŀėȧsurė meeting you." Lyra said to Lila and the second prince.

"You too! Please come visit again!" Lila said.

Lyra nodded.

Today was like any other day, Lyra was practicing with her whip, bow, and sword. It turns out that the necklace her mother gave her can be turn into a sword.

After training with her three weapons, she rests for a bit before continuing on with her horse riding lessons, after her horse riding lesson she studies for a bit before concluding her lessons.

"Aren't you tired at all?" Violet asked.

"I'm fine."

Violet was worried for Lyra, she noticed that after coming back from the palace, Lyra started to add more to her lessons. 'Even I can't handle this, how can Lyra handle this.'

"Should we go to town for a bit and explore?" Lyra asked Violet. Lyra could see that her sister was worried for her. To take her mind off things, Lyra suggested a visit to town. Violet face lit up right away, Lyra smiled knowing that she was correct. "Okay, let me change."

Lyra was standing in front of the mansion waiting for Violet to be done. "Okay, I'm done." They headed to the town while leaving a message for their parents that they'll be back before dinner.

Going into town reminded Lyra of the time when she once got kidnapped when she went out without informing her family. She wanted to look around for the prince since she heard that he also went into town. Lyra sigh, 'What a fool I once was'.

"Leave us here." Lyra to the coachman.

Lyra and Violet got off and started walking around with guards hidden in sight.
