The Time When Me And My Family Went To Other World

It was early in the morning of our new house, it is a cozy and big house for just the two of us, also it is going to need some renovation and some parts will get replacement, but it shall wait till we get ourselves adapted to this new life.

After waking up and washing our faces and teeth with the waterbags and some bamboo brush, we went to the river to replenish those and went to get breakfast with Elder Brontus and Kavko, since we need some loans for stuff and work, which in turn lead us to meet with the remainder of the villagers.

Since we are going to need some clothes we went to the Tailor and Tanner of the village, Nordya was excited about the clothes to be made and worn, also from design all kinds of dresses or maybe shorts for our baby.

"Okay, little pair is not to be scared of Guido's Atelier or his antics, he is a weird one among the older villagers, but has the most durable and beautiful clothing we have saw to today..." Elder Kavko winks at Nordya, leading her to blush through all the skin of her head getting red "Hahahaha, let's go in and see what he can help you with."

We walk inside the house and see a beautiful well organized store laying before our eyes, with many different kinds of colorful garments at display, all kinds of clothing from work to casual.

"Guido take a lot of pride in his work, he always has his latest invention on display with other up to pair goods. Feel free to look a bit" said Elder Brontus.

Nordya starts walking around and I stay close to the doorway gobsmacked by the store which had a display close to department stores from our world, it's amazing the effort put on the placements of the pieces and their designs so they don't collide visually.

In the middle of my daydreaming, I hear a scream from close to behind me, as I wake up I turn around scared.

"Aaaaaaaiiiiiii, Bronty sweetieeeeee, Kavyyyyy cutieeeeeee, what are you doing with such bashful kids in my humble abode? Mmmm? Are those sweethearts the newcomers to our village?" asked a tall man with a thin build, he has turquoise hair and eyes, had a long face, square chin with a small nose, wore make up looking like a colorful clown or joker, but he's clothes were black and white only, like a walking antithesis "Walk right inside my sweeties! I need to take your measurements right now!" he said with a beaming smile.

"So.. Sorry, but... who are you, mister?" I said shocked about what just happened after waking up from the day dream.

"Oh, where are my manners!? My name is Guidomeru Barthlomai Alexander Julius Cesare Third! But everyone calls me by my nickname Guido, this village tailor and tanner." he said with a courtesy by putting his left hand on his c.h.e.s.t and the right to the side and slightly bending his knees and lowering his head "At your service!" then he sprung back up at the same time dragging me behind a curtain fast as a weasel.

As quick as I was brought to the curtain he undresses me and takes all measurements, after he is done I put everything back in place.

Whew, at least it is done, finally I can go back to my wife side and be done with this

Before he tries to take Nordya she hits him with a right hook.

"Hello, Teacher! Take it easy, since I am a lady and married, okay?" she said with a wink, while he is on the floor scared and confused of what just happened, he probably doesn't feel any pain, I guess?

"But of course, how can I treat my pupil... What pupil?! Bronty! That is not what we agreed on!" he said with a angry look and continued "They should be my models for the clothes and then get new clothes for the then in exchange for that, I have never heard of a pupil!"

"Apparently she is a seamstress, a apprentice at that, so it is your job as all kids that arrive in this village to teach them until full fledged professional, do you understand?" said Kavko with a tinge of anger on Guido lashing at her husband

"Wait, we only have to model for clothing? Seriously?" I asked more happy than surprised.

"Yes, there is no Tiefling or Elf in this village so I can't make clothing for those races without living beings to try it and then adjust my work, to be sold to the travelling merchants." He said in a serious tone "I need to expand my client base to the max! So I will be know through all the Archipelago!" he exclaimed with a burning passion in his eyes and his hair started to float up!

Wait his hair started to float up?

"Uaaaahhhh! Mr. Guido your hair is burning up!" I scream looking for my waterbag to throw at him.

"That's fine , sweetheart, I am a Flame Elemental, my hair is made of fire." he explained with 'a matter of fact' look in his face.

After that he took scared Nordya who punched a Flame Elemental on the face to the curtain to get her measurements.

After close to a minute came to pass, she went out of the curtain to the front of the store.

"Since both of you got me amazing information and insight to your Races you can pick up as many everyday clothing you will need, as for your working apparel ones will be send a pair of each profession with a prototype that I shall design for both of you to try and give me feed back, capiche?" he said with a gang member look on his face...

"Capiche!Capiche!" we yell worried for our lives, since it looked like he would burn us...

After that we took five pairs of u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r, five sets of shirts and pants, my wife took the same with an additional of three bras and two skirts, we received as well two pairs of shoes, I received some medium length boots and Nordya took some small heels for herself, he gave us as a bonus a big bag to put over my shoulders, with everything inside so I take it all on me, not so heavy as I thought it would be, Nordya took my waterbag, then we went on our way with all our stuff, just when we are leaving we hear Elder Brontus speak.

"Well, I shall explain a little about the week here, it has seven days it starts on Lucipher Day, which also is a holiday, then is Shiva Day, Yggdrasil Day, Moradin Day, Hermes Day, Dionisius Day and lastly Asura Day, the months have four weeks, and the year has ten months. You have booked both Shiva Day and Asura Day on Doh and Rir's house, little lady Wood Elf here will come oooon...?" he says looking at Mr. Guido "Come on Yggdrasil Day and Moradin Day..." says Mr. Guido dejected.

He probably wanted to keep working on his projects.

After that we went to the Woodworking Shop to lease some furniture, since we couldn't pay for anything yet.

It is a large cottage by the river, closer to the forest, since it needs wood it is a great location, it even has a river powered sawmill! That is awesome!

We went inside and there was a beaver beastwoman, she was large and had red brownish hair all over her body and a black tail, her eyes were silver and she had a round face, little plump and on her nose was a beaver nose, completely black colored, she had large bucket front teeth and seemed to be repairing something on the sawmill.

"Hey Agnes! Look what I bought here to you?" said Elder Kavko teasing.

"Is it a blackwood cedar sap?" she asked as she turned around and, damn, she is bigger than Elder Brontus and she has two big pairs of b.r.e.a.s.ts, too "OH! MY! SEVEN! GODS! THIS IS WAY BETTER!" She ran toward us and hugged me and my wife are the same time and pulled us from the ground almost breaking our bones like a bear hug, almost like a certain girl who would be overly affectionate towards animals.

"Oh! Sorry! I got too excited young'uns!" she let us go from her bear hug "My name is Agnes, I am a Beaverina as you can see! It's really nice to meet you two!" she says with a bright sunny smile on her face.

"Agnes is one of our most hardworking residents, the reason being she is chief of the renovation after the Stampede, but it will probably change after today!" said Elder Brontus "This young man has the Woodcutting Skill of Trade!"

Like a thunder falling down, Agnes looked like she was dumbstruck... Is it something so amazing that skill?

"Hahahahaha! The gods sent us a cutting machine! Finally!" She started to raise her hands to the sky "No more days without end to cut wood for furniture or weapons!" she said looking towards the sky.

"So are you a Woodworker? I bet you are!" she said "C'mon what level are you?"

"I am not a Woodworker... Sorry..." I said afraid of the retaliation from the expectation imposed on me.

"Hahahahahaha, even more reason to cut wood like crazy! So this way you will unlock the Profession sooner!" she said happier "Skills are really hard to get, but professions after repeating some actions a certain number of times successfully or if achieve something, like a milestone or great feat in an area, opposed to Skill that are granted by the Gods Blessings or recognition from the Seven, which are way harder to do so."

We had dinner at Elder Brontus house, after having everything se up at the new old house.

We talked about the schedule since I had four days free, I asked about books about the remaining professions to learn and decided to put self studying for Yggdrasil Day and Moradin Day.

"Well, talking about schedule what day of the week are we in?" Nordya asks puzzled? "And have we met everybody?"

"Yes, you two have met all the villagers, today is Asura Day, tomorrow will be a holiday, so take it easy and have a stroll tomorrow to familiarize yourselves with the village a bit more okay? Take the supplies when you two leave to your new home, okay?"

We had dinner and took some salted meat, fruits, bread, washing stones and a tub to our home.

Boy, I can't wait to start exploring tomorrow!
