The Time When Me And My Family Went To Other World

Today is a holiday in the village! We have a free day to take a stroll on the woods, so after getting up from the bed, finally a real bed! We made breakfast and some things to snack on on our stroll.

After we went out we passed through Granny Rir house to thank her for the help and we met Master Hyu and Grandpa Doh having breakfast on their living room, they were discussing different kinds of weapons to use.

We bid them farewell and went to the Elders Brontus and Kavko to also warn them of our little outing.

Lastly, we went to the Outpost to talk with Captain Vermont, Metania and Jivs and ask for the best direction to go to and enjoy the view.

"There is the cliff view from up north of the village after Agnes' Cottage, there is an astounding view from a the Cliff of Muttering Heights, it is very safe the way there." said Captain Vermont "We will do some patrols today close to there, so don't worry so much about it."

After parting ways with the three of them we went past Agnes which had a huge smile and was waving enthusiastically towards us, we waved back to her and kept going towards north, it was easy since all we had to do was keep the sun in our right through the way and there was a small trail to go.

We passed by some tall trees on the way, there were some blue birds standing on the canopy of these trees, it was really amazing sight, after we passed a small creek, there we saw it, the sharp edge of the standing cliff, we heard the sound of the wind blowing strongly, so we decided to let down the bag with the food and then take a closer look at the edge.

We saw a huge waterfall all the way to the other side of a vast plane, which a beautiful blue river cut it right in the middle, a very serene picture could be taken from this place.

Then in the far side of the plains we saw a huge slow walking beast with one horn in the middle of its head, from this distance I estimate about the height of three meters and as long as five meters, it was walking and suddenly pounced at the river were it took some kind of fish and then went away to the woods on the left corner.

We were admiring the view when I suddenly felt something weird, like some cold wind in the back of my head.

I turn suddenly and put Nordya behind me, then I saw it an ugly looking chameleon like monster eyes appearing in the air, I see there is nothing to protect myself with aside from the kitchen knife Granny Rir gave me.

I am shaking in my feet but I am still looking at it's horrendous eyes that were treating me as prey, I will take this opportunity to strike first! Your mistake was underestimating me, vile beast! I run and jump towards it with the knife, aiming towards its black dot right eye.

I pierce it, but suddenly I hear a scream and it tries to bite my shoulder, I try to turn my body towards the left and kick towards the knife, it has bitten shallowly towards my arm and I hit it in the belly since it was faster than me, my kick hit a really soft spot and it let go suddenly and limply lay down, like it is out of air.

This bastard, I am going to slay it for our safety! So I punch the knife, which in turn makes the the blade goes all the way inside.

It starts jerking around as if in shock and then stopped moving for good, finally... Arghhhhhhh.... Not again.....

Suddenly I was not at the cliff anymore, but differently from the White Room I would be in, now I am in a pitch black room with some white mist floating close to the floor covering my feet and shins.

"Gajahahahahaha!" there is this sudden laughter echoing everywhere "Turn east, son! And let me gaze upon the one of you two I will bestow my blessing for a victory without preparation! Splendid instincts! I always give my blessing to those who win their first real fight for your life!" said a three faced six armed red demon with oni like expressions on their faces.

"Are you... Asura?" I asked the look-a-like in front of me from the God of my world.

Suddenly he shrink to a normal sized man with three pair of arms and some red hair and pale pink skin, wearing a black tuxedo with black leather shoes.

"Darn it! I wanted to scare you, but no dice!" he complained at me "Yes, I am Asura, the God of War and Victory!" he said happily "At least you could get surprised to see me, ya know? It is really tiring to look like that..." he complained as he starts stretching "So you got yourself some points with me for that Victory from the blindsided encounter with the Magichamelion, those things are hard to spot and got a nasty bite, at least for you mortals, anyway."

I was staring at his exercise routine he was doing, it looked amazing for someone with six arms to be doing it.

"Just so you know, two armed people can do it too, all right? It is good to build the foundation for Ki Tempering. Ask the Captain and the Wolfman about it." he says, probably reading my mind "Anyway you shall get a minor blessing, magic as freebie because of the blessing and a skill of trade you may choose."

"What about the Profession? Or is it not enough of a feat?' I asked curious about the limits of the way this world works.

"You should check it after I am done with you on this Room" he said with a enigmatic smile "Now just tell me the Skill of Trade you want."

"Is there some Skill of Trade for better learning or something like that" I asked thinking there would be less limitations in this case, got to try my luck, right?

"Well, the thing is... That is not my Domain, so you got to ask something about my Domain get it?" he said while looking at me "Mostly related to combat or something like that, got it?"

Combat related skills that I can get...

"What about Ki Tempering? Don't know what it is about, but something to do with it...?" I tried this time.

"So how about some Minor Ki Sensing then?" he said while looking at me "It does not level with use but stacks with other equipment and blessings as well, what do you say?" he asked with a grin on his oni face, do I take it.

"Can't I take the Large or Major one instead of minor?" I asked curious about the minor thing in there.

"You have to take something matching the blessing size, or else you'd get a bad time, understand?" he said worried "Some guys tried pestering me before and I gave it away, they either blew up or withered away." he said smiling, like he was satisfied with something, it gave me shivers in my spine.

"So, what about a Minor All Attributes Up or something all rounded like that."

"You are not a hero of some of your novels you know? Those things are for very high grade blessings of the Seven, granted at the same time! Pick something else." he said starting to get angry. A God of War angry is a very bad idea, terrible if I do say so.

"Minor Ki Sense it is!" I said as fast as I could.

He laughed "That is more like it, I knew I would like you, boy!" he said as he smile widened further "Take care, oh, come visit me sometimes too, there is one of my statues there too, got it, boy?"

"Yes, sir." I answer quickly and start to fade into black this time.

I wake up laying next to the Magichamelion and I try to get up and feel a flux of natural energy around me, it is not Mana, because it causes visual changes on whatever it is affecting, is this the Ki Sensing active?

I looked around and see the Captain close looking around and Nordya crying next to him.

"Hello?" I asked around.

"Thank the Gods he is fine!" Captain Vermont said "You mad laddie! You got lucky there, this bastard almost ate the two of you, he was the bastard who ate all of Jivs cattle, we just couldn't find it around, so it was a Magichamelion..." he looked at it with a knife still in its beady eye "Quite a nice knife wasted... But you did good, kid, stood up for family, that is noble."

"Nordya?" I ask "Are you..."

"Waaaaaaaaah! I thought..... Waaaah!" She started crying again, but it is strange, there is no hurting, I am sure it bit me on my unprotected arm.

There is some procedures to do about this, let's go to the village, kid, as I said good job, now help me take this thing to the village, its meat shall be properly dismantled there" Captain Vermont interrupt us with a cough and orders me to take the tail part of it "Later today kid you will have to make a decision of yours that will be life-changing, so come to Little Rir's house and meet me with that old dog Hyugin, after we take this to the Outpost and have some lunch." he said seriously as a Captain from some kind of Special Forces would say to a subordinate.

"Yes, sir!" I said as a reflex.

We went back through the tall trees, only this time there were no blue birds in the canopy, after that when we were getting close to Agnes' Cottage, Jivs and Metania jumped from the bushes on each of our sides.

"Good job, everyone, here is safe already, we are inside the barrier perimeter, now carry the beast body to the Outpost." said Captain "Let's go to Rir's house, right now!"

Before we even got there, I saw Master Hyu with a fierce aura and something like that natural-looking flow coming out, but more wild and potent looking, it scared me.

"Gahahahahahaha, since he didn't explode and he even flinched, he must've gotten it, right?" asked Master Hyu to Captain Vermont.

"He told us he got it, I came to talk with you after lunch, but it looks like it will be now." said Captain "Little Wood Sprite, your lucky husband will be fine, so get inside to the kitchen with little Rir, okay?"

"Okayyy?" she said confused about the incisiveness of both of them "I will be at the kitchen, then..."

Honey, don't.... I thought to say while stretching my hand towards her, but their auras were locking me there.
