“Now that I’ve chosen my promotion class, where should I put them….”

He stared at his stats for but a short moment.

“Okay! Let’s break the 10000 mark! I’ve waited long enough!”

He quickly dumped all 630 into Strength

He stared there admiring his character page. He had a Strength of over 15,000 and his health was even above 300,000 now. Of course his other stats were simply atrocious for a level 139 player.

“Let’s take a look at the skills!”

He closed his stats page and opened his skills page.

Strike the ground with a heavy punch in order to send all enemies within a 10m radius flying into the air.

At first he didn’t learn too many skills because first and foremost they were quite expensive, but also a lot of the other skills focused on weapons like swords. However he finally had quite a lot of useful skills.

“But my old ones are a bit different”

His classic go to skills like Power Strike and Slash had now been justly slightly changed. Still, deciding that it wasn’t all that important, he finally closed the skills page and began walking in search of the Auction house.

“What price will it have reached? Are people bidding?”

He didn’t have any clue as to what was happening with his items because once in-game, the Auction house was the only way to keep track of the bids.

He stepped out of the Guild’s alley and back into the Central plaza. He once again tried to find the map, and unlike last time he actually found a sign post with the city’s map. After locating the Auction house and figuring out how to get there, he took off.

As he made his way there he took a look at the many items in his inventory.

“I’m coming.”

He said with a dirty smile as he picked up his speed in excitement.

“Urgently need Items! I pay cash or gold!”

“Buying a Mage’s armor set! Cloth and leather armors only, I’ll pay top dollar!”

“We sell Common weapons and have of all kinds, come have a look!”

Outside of the Auction house was full of activity. There were countless players shouting there wares or their own requests.

“Sorry I’d like to pass.”

Myeonghu had to squeeze through in order to get through the crowd.

“Buying gold, 10.000 won each! Come with at least 50 gold and I can buy up to 300!”

“Selling 1 gold for 11.000 won. Minimum purchase of 10 gold and can sell up to 200!”

“Buying gold, 9.000 won each! Come with at least 20 gold and I can buy up to 500!”

“Buying all good items, I’ll give you the best price!”

The same was true inside the Auction house and a crowd of players tried to sell and buy items or gold. Attempting to make his way through this crowd, Myeonghu was aiming for the NPC’s at the back.

“I have a Bastard Sword ideal for a level 100 Warrior. Other weapons also available, come have a look!”

Just as he was about to arrive before an NPC, he heard a player shout out regarding a sword, so he opened up his inventory and fetched his Howling Fox to compare.

Myeonghu briefly glanced at the NPC before deciding to first approach the player in question.

“Hey.”

“Hello! I am Garen. The Vice leader of the Tanker guild.”

‘What a spirited fellow.’

Myeonghu’s impression of Garen was rather good seeing that he introduced himself so enthusiastically, so he took out his Howling Fox and showed it to him.

“Would you be interested in something like this?”

“Oh, a sword!”

He took it in his hands to confirm its stats, but after seeing the page he froze as if he were experiencing some severe lag.

“Are you okay?”

The man name Garen look down at the sword in disbelief, His hands running through it as if to confirm the Howling Fox was real.

“Oh, yes of course, give me one moment please.”

He looked back at the sword, caressing it slightly before letting out a deep sigh.

“I’m sorry but I wouldn’t be able to afford it.”

“I don’t mind giving a small discount….”

“No, its at a level that I couldn’t afford it even if it was being sold cheaply. Thank you showing it to me.”

Myeonghu was surprised by Garen’s staunch refusal, but it was his next words which rooted him in place.
“I envy you so much. That is worth at least 40 million won. You might even get 50 million, possibly more if you put it up for auction.

‘Upwards of 50 million?’

Myeonghu couldn’t help but swallow down hard. This was far beyond any of his expectations. Sure it was a Unique item, but he had expected the highest possible price to be 10 million. Even if he received only a few million won for it he would have been content.

“Um… could you tell me how you got it?”

“Hunting monsters”

“Ah…”

“Work hard.”

Seeing the envious expression on Garen’s face, Myeonghu could only show a helpless smile as he went over to the Auction house’s NPC.

“I’d like to check the status of the items I’ve put for auction.”

Shortly after a window appeared before him and he was left stupefied.

“Huh?”

He couldn’t help but stare at the numbers attached to his 7 items.

“Am I seeing wrong?”

He rubbed his eyes, but the numbers didn’t change, he at least wasn’t hallucinating.

“Could it be some sort of glitch?”
