"I believe there are a total of three items with bids that reached up to a billion dollars in that event and these three items were coincidentally came from the same collection so I presume you are also in the possession of the pair of this necklace, right?"

C.H. Jewelries is a hundred year old company in the jewelry making industry, they aren't like those companies which follows the trend but this made them even more prestigious than others.

The jewelries they make cannot be bought anywhere because they have only limited physical locations and mostly situated in the west.

Lim Yi Sheng slowly revealed the identical necklace that hangs around his neck. The only difference of the necklaces is their thickness, the one in possession of Lim Yi Sheng is a bit thicker than Xi Ana's.

Seeing her husband's smiling face she can't help but smile endearingly at him as well. "You sure used a hefty amount of money for me, my dear husband."

"Anything for the most beautiful woman in my life." he then hugged her and kissed her temple.

Before the car finally stopped, they could easily recognize the blinding flashes from the cameras of the countless of reporters waiting for the people who will be attending tonight's ball.

"Are you ready?" Xi Ana asked him.

He was a bit confused with her question and the naughty smile plastered on his wife's face, "For what? It's not like there is something to be nervous about."

"Well, I'm just saying since you tend to be a jealous freak at times I thought you have at least prepared yourself mentally for when your wife will caught the attention of eligible bachelors out there. After all, your wife rarely attends these sorts." she smiled playfully and seeing her husband's fl.u.s.tered face she can't help but chuckle.

Lim Yi Sheng can't help but think so too. Even before they get married, Xi Ana rarely attended these sorts of events only when necessary and as stunningly beautiful as she is today it's not impossible that what she said will actually happen!

"Can we not attend anymore? Let's just go home." the way he said was so serious that she can't help but laugh heartily at his reaction.

"Do you not want to attend anymore?" she asked jokingly. As if they can actually leave now.

"Uhm."

Just as he answered the door of their car opened, "Unfortunately my dear husband, I don't think that's possible anymore."

"We can just take a picture then leave." his serious face never changed. The only thing that matters to him right now is not sharing his wife to anyone else.

"Hahaha. Go on, dear. Time's running." she said as she urged him out of the car.

All the people particularly the reporters with their cameras at hand patiently waited as the door of the limousine car that just arrived was opened by an attendant.

As the man elegantly stepped out of the car, he exudes an air of nobility around him. Those very distinct features, and that domineering aura how could one possibly not recognize him? It's none other than Lim Yi Sheng of Lim Group!

Just as when they thought he was alone and that his wife probably wouldn't attend knowing that she rarely attends social gatherings, the man stretched his hand and a small hand reached out to it.

All the people gasped when they realized that the woman they didn't expect to attend actually came! Her radiance is captivating, her curves were fully accentuated with her cream gown, and her smile alone is very alluring. Both men and women were mesmerized with her arrival as if their world suddenly slowed down.

Standing next to each other there is only one thing that came to the minds of most of the people, 'They were perfect together!'

Cameras were continuously flashing as if their hands has their own lives which lets them repeatedly press the button despite being mesmerized to their very core. And when they thought there is nothing more perfect to seeing them together, they were completely wrong because when Xi Ana leaned on Lim Yi Sheng as if she said something and then chuckled after. 'Perfect' just became an understatement of the year.

This is just too perfect to be perfect!

The moment the couple reached the area where the reporters would be given the chance to have a short interview with the attendees, they wasted no time to ask questions to the lovely couple. Their interactions made them feel as if love is in the air.

"So, have you prepared yourself my dear? Look, I just got out of the car." she smiled and seeing the expression on her husband's face she knew that it was worth teasing him! His face looks like he was having a constipation but still trying to smile.

Lim Yi Sheng threw her a warning look which only made Xi Ana chuckle even more, "I'm never allowing you to any ball ever again and if you must I will always be there to be your plus one."

His possessiveness is once again overflowing! This is so much fun, she thought.

While walking to the area where they would be interviewed for a while Lim Yi Sheng spoke, "And please my dear wife, stop teasing me or else I would drag you home by force right here, right now."

Chuckling, she answered "I never thought my husband could be such a brute."

He was about to retaliate but stopped when he realized they already reached the area of the interview. As he roamed his eyes around, he could sense that the eyes of the reporters were glistening as if they couldn't wait to grab a hold of a gem they suddenly found.

When the reporters were signaled that they can start asking question, everyone seized the opportunity.

"President Xi, this is a rare chance to see you attend a ball. Is there any special reason for your appearance for tonight?"

Xi Ana held the mic and spoke gently, "It's true that I rarely attend these kinds of gathering and being able to be invited here today was an honor for me. Also, one of the recipients of tonight's funder raising campaign has a very special attachment to me that's why I made sure to attend and participate tonight."

It was true. One of the chosen charities here is that one she founded a long time ago, no one knew she was the founder nor they knew what was the name of the charity itself. She preferred for it to be kept secret to avoid any unnecessary side comment.

No one followed up that question as it is already a common knowledge to them not to press on with that matter so a new question was thrown, "Earlier, we noticed that President Xi was chuckling and it seems like it was because of something that our CEO Lim Yi Sheng said. Is it alright to ask what it is that made her chuckle, CEO Lim?"

They weren't sure if this is a bit too personal but still gave it a chance, it was very rare to see the usual cold and stoic President Xi Ana smile in public let alone chuckle!

"Well, I told her I'd drag her home right here and right now." the reporters were puzzled so someone followed up.

"Why could that be, CEO Lim?" he smiled naturally to prevent from having other people think as though he has another motive by asking such a question.

Instead of Lim Yi Sheng answering, Xi Ana spoke playfully which surprise most of the people, this is a reaction they would never expect from her before! "It was actually because of you people."

"Did we somehow offended him, President Xi?"

"It was because you were looking at her too much! I just can't bear to share her to anyone else." the way he said it so seriously made not only Xi Ana chuckle but all the people who heard him.

"Well, having President Xi as a wife anyone would be jealous if they showered her with too much attention, right?" they chuckled. This is a great news not only for now but as a future reference as well, at least now they know that the Young Master of Lim Group is actually a very possessive person towards his wife.

"I actually married a jealous freak. Well, I guess that's it for now." just as she said it they finally entered the banquet hall where the charity ball will take place.

Her hand was linked to his forearms and she could feel that it was a bit stiff, "You'll lose your cool early my dear if you don't calm down."

Lim Yi Sheng looked at her teasing face, "That's possible, you know what would I do if you kept on teasing me and I'll lose my cool?"

"Uhm?"

"I'll kiss you right here and right now in front of all these people not only to announce but to show that you're mine." the entire time he said these words his eyes never once averted away from hers.

Though Xi Ana knew he was being serious with the intention of stopping here from all the teases, she never actually taken to heart that the man will actually kiss her there.

"So I didn't just marry a jealous freak, but my husband is also a barbaric?" she said teasingly but what surprised her was the action done by Lim Yi Sheng.

He swiftly leaned and pecked her lips with a kiss which made her eyes grew a bit due to shock, "I guess you did marry a jealous freak and barbaric husband." he smiled triumphantly upon looking at his wife's slightly stunned face. It was his win in the end!
