"Good afternoon, Young Miss Xi and Young Master Lim." all the employees of Lily's said in unison.

Lily's Clothing Line is a luxury brand popular in the whole Asia, though it is merely a nine year old company, the success and popularity of this exceeds some of the decades old companies.

Xi Ana is the one who founded this clothing line but it's not under Xi Empire, not that she has a full background of fashion designing it so happen that one of her friends that she met in France many years ago is interested in this industry so she offered a partnership which the other party agreed to.

"Ana!" the woman immediately greeted Xi Ana with a warm hug and a smile. After the hug, the woman extended her hand on the man standing beside her friend.

Lim Yi Sheng graciously accepted the hand and smiled at her. "I presume this is our first meeting, Young Master Lim."

"It is, Miss Lily."

P0[[[W When they just started building everything from scratch, Lily and Xi Ana argued so many times about the name of the store. Lily wanted both of their names to be shown but the other woman refused. In the end, Xi Ana arranged all the legal papers on her own and named it after Lily so that she cannot refuse anymore, after all everything is done.

"I never thought that there is another man in this world who can tolerate this woman, I must commend you Young Master." the man chuckled but the words 'another man' from her sentence didn't escape his ears.

"A high-maintenance wife, indeed." he smiled and looked at the woman beside him.

Lily laughed heartily "I must agree, who's in their right mind would create her own brand because she doesn't like to be touched by another person when getting her measurements. Sometimes I wonder how she managed to have her clothes before we started this brand."

"You're talking as if I'm not around. And for the record, I was the one who gets my own measurements and sent it to our family's personal tailor. It so happen that they would usually make some little mistakes which ."

Xi Ana rolled her eyes. "Okay, okay honey let's get you changed. I already prepared your gown, the only thing we need to do now is for you to wear it."

"Yi Sheng, I'll go and get changed."

"Take your time, I will also get changed I believe Miss Lily already prepared a separate room for me."

"Of course, Young Master Lim. This is Xiao Han, he will be your personal aide while you're changing." the young man bowed as a sign of respect.

"It's an honor to be your aide, Young Master Lim."

And so, the two entered their respective changing rooms to prepare themselves with the ball.

Lim Yi Sheng was the first one to finish with the preparations as it would normally be. Aside from this is their first time attending a ball together, it was also a first for him to accompany a woman inside a clothing store. He'd never done it with his mom nor sister, and of course not with his ex-fiancee.

After only a couple of minutes, the door next room opened and a woman wearing a modified A-line gown, it fitted through her body and h.i.p.s perfectly hugging her curves and eventually flares to the hem it was perfect for someone like Ana who has a perfectly proportioned body.

The gown which is cream in color isn't as eye-catching as other colors but it complimented Xi Ana's complexion very well and also because she wanted to be as low profile as possible that she chose this color.

Though it is very simple, upon closely analyzing the bead-like ornaments at the hem of the gown one would easily recognize that these ornaments wasn't your typical beads they were genuine pearls!

"You're just perfect, Ana!" the designer exclaimed in a delighted fashion while looking at her masterpiece creation.

Xi Ana's make up is very simple simple as well but for her this is already torture because she doesn't use make up at all. The hairstylist accentuated her normal wavy hair and pulled it up high. This woman exudes nothing but elegance.

"Ana, you would have been the perfect masterpiece for every designer if only you were not as demanding as this." because they are friends she can actually speak her mind freely.

"If that were to happen you wouldn't be here, Lily." she paused and turned her head to her husband who's been in a daze for quite a while.

"Yi Sheng, let's go?" when he heard her voice he came back to his senses. He was too mesmerized by his wife that he wasn't able to react at all. What have I done in my past life that I was blessed with the perfect wife in this lifetime?

"Uhm, okay." he didn't realize it but everyone inside the store knew that he was dazed with how his wife looked and everyone can only suppress their smiles.

Xi Ana slowly walked to his side and hooked her arms on his while holding her clutch bag on the other.

"Have a wonderful night, Young Miss and Young Master."

When the two went out, one of Lily's employees asked, "Miss Lily, why is it that the Young Miss is not wearing a necklace?"

Lily smiled meaningfully at her, "How could I possibly find something that would suit her more than what he has?"

The employee didn't get exactly what she meant but nodded anyways.

Once their inside the black limousine car, he pulled open one of the compartments and took a small white elegant box.

Xi Ana was a bit shocked when she saw what was inside. Lim Yi Sheng's delicate hands carefully took out the necklace. At first glance, it was very simple bu

"I'll help you put it on." helping her with it wasn't very that much of a trouble because of the way her hair was styled.

It was exquisitely made, the necklace was made with small and round diamond cuts connected with the priciest type of white gold. The pendant itself was also a round cut diamond in Riviere style.

He secured the lock of the necklace and after that he slowly bent and kissed her nape, Xi Ana shivered at the sudden action.

She faced her and touched the necklace dangling on her neck.

"When did you prepare this?" She knew how expensive this necklace is, after all it wasn't only the material that was expensive but the brand and prestige it holds.

"I had it with me since the day I acquired our wedding band." he smiled lovingly.

Xi Ana then remembered that one time he went to England and when he came back, he gave her the wedding band to replace the engagement ring he gave when they first met.

She gave him a meaningful look, "So the rumor was true, the person behind the highest bidder of C.H. Jewelries Centennial Auction is actually one person."

He tugged her closer and hugged her tight by the waist. "How could I give you something cheap when you are the most important person in my life? You worthy of the most precious things in this world, my dear."
