The CEO's Wife Has A Secret

Xi Ana immediately called Hannah as soon as Han Tu Mo left her office.

"Yes, President?" Hannah just got off the car and is now headed upstairs but she was shocked when she saw the person inside the elevator lift.

Only authorized person are allowed to use this elevator and this brunette woman in front of her is obviously not one of them

"Oh, if it isn't our lovely assistant. Long time no see Hannah ~" Han Tu Mo said playfully. She knows that this assistant doesn't like her so she would always always playfully greet her whenever she comes over.

Hannah became alert. Did she meet the President? Why? For what reason? "Don't worry I'm not yet that crazy to do something to your boss."

Hearing this, Hannah felt a little relieved at least there is a bit sanity left in this woman. This is the third time she met this woman and she never had any good impression of her.

"Though you've been working with her for a long time, I doubt you truly know her plans." she grinned at the woman who was startled with her words and went straight out of the lift. She uttered those words in a very hushed manner so that only Hannah would be able to hear it.

"Hannah." when she heard Xi Ana's voice only then did she realize that she was actually on the phone with her.

"President."

"Pass by the secretarial office and have the secretary who escorted the woman you just met go into my office. I want to speak with her." she was about to enter the lift already but upon hearing here command she immediately strode off the lobby and went straight for the usual elevator since the secretarial office is a level below the Top Floor and that previous lift can only be used if your destination is the Top Floor, there is nothing in between.

"Yes, President." after that the call ended.

The words of Han Tu Mo flashed inside here, what she said makes sense and she knows that. There are so many things that the President is not telling her but she also knows that it is not her place to meddle with her private affairs.

Upon reaching the secretarial office, all the secretaries stood in unison to show respect.

"Who accompanied the visitor of the President a while ago?" she asked rather straightforwardly.

Some of the secretaries looked at each other, obviously it was not them. At the far end corner, she saw a petite woman fidgeting as if trying to hide her guilt.

"The woman at the far end corner, what's your name?" the woman was startled and immediately held her head high.

She held her breathe. She can already feel the gazes of her workmates, it can't be helped after all she made a mistake.

"My name is Wang Xinyi, Ma'am." she bit her lower lip to hide the trebling of her lips.

"Follow me to the Top Floor. As for all of you, always follow the protocol. I don't want the same mistake happen twice. Are we clear?" her sharp gazes pass through all of them. She is usually gentle but angering her will make you tremble in fear.

"Yes, Ma'am!"

Xi Ana was busy reorganizing the doc.u.ments on her table when she heard a soft knock on her door.

"President, it's Hannah." she pushed open the door as she entered, she is followed by the secretary a while back.

"Thank you Hannah, can you please leave us for a while. I need to talk to her." though confused, Hannah obeyed and went out of the office, just, what exactly happened a while back?

As soon as the door closed, Xi Ana's gaze met hers. "What's your name?"

Hearing her cold voice, Wang Xinyi shivered down her spine. This is the first time she is able to talk directly with the President, not counting the first time earlier.

"I'm Wang Xinyi, President. I just started working at the secretarial office a month ago."

In front of the computer, she typed her name and accessed her personal information from their data base, of course. She's the only person in this company who has an access to this.

"Did you tell anyone about what happened earlier?" she asked without looking at her, she's busy scanning through the information flashed on the computer.

"I did not tell any soul, President." Wang Xinyi is somehow relieved that the President is not looking her way, or else there is a possibility that her legs would give her away.

Just as expected, when Xi Ana raised her gaze upon her and she stared at those deep and obsidian pair of eyes, her feet wobbled and she fell on the floor but Xi Ana still looked indifferent.

"Are you afraid?" without answering, she nodded her head vigorously and a tear left her eyes. Her small and round face turned red as the tears are falling continuously.

"Tell me what happened from the start."

She recalled what happened.

All she knew was that she was asked to pass on something on the Top Floor by one of their superiors but since it is lunch break, no one is left there. Just as she was about to enter the elevator, the executive operator and suddenly there was brunette woman that came out of it.

As a sign of respect, she bowed and greeted the woman. "Good morning, Ma'am." it's a common knowledge that anyone who uses this lift is an important person.

But before she could fully raise hear she felt the cold metal touched the side of her hear. "Bring me to your President or else I'll blow up your head."

Her heart beats faster, and when she was the devilish smirk plastered on her face and so her fear intensified tremendously.

"Walk."

Her mind is so occupied that she didn't walk right away but her senses came back instantly when she heard a metallic sound, she knew that it was probably the lock on the gun.

"I SAID WALK!"

"Please..don't kill me..please." she pleaded with everything she has.

"WALK!"

Just as the woman stated she walked and the woman stayed behind her, but she can still feel the gun pressed on her lower back.

After recalling what happened, only then did she realize that she cried the entire time she spoke.

On the other hand, Xi Ana knew that Han Tu Mo really went far right now. There is actually no need for her to scare this secretary, after all she wasn't even suspected as a trespasser. She really just wanted to mess things up.

"Stand up." she gently said to the sobbing woman, which she followed suit.

She stood up, straightened her clothes, and fixed herself.

"I'm sorry, President." she lowered her head when the realization of the embarrassment of what she just did.

Scanning through her information, this woman is quite capable and she is also intelligent. She will not be surprised if this woman managed to make it to the Top Floor in a short period of time.

Having that said, Xi Ana knew that this woman would eventually find it weird for someone who brings gun like bringing handkerchief would be acquainted with her and who knows what she would be able to find out if she sets her mind to it.

"You're intelligent and you might think that there is something amiss here." the woman's widened eyes gave her thoughts away. That is exactly what she's thinking.

She didn't respond. "I won't tell you exactly what is it, in time you will eventually know but there is only one thing I want to ask of you."

Xi Ana stared at her, though she didn't respond she knew that her whore attention was focused on what she's saying.

"Wang Xinyi, will you follow and trust me with everything that you have?"

Surprisingly, instead of being confused her heart was actually at ease as if her heart had decided first before her mind.

"I will, President. I will follow and trust you with everything I am."

After only a few minutes, Xi Ana was shocked when she saw Lim Yi Sheng entered her office.

"What are you doing here?" upon hearing her response, Lim Yi Sheng can't help but chuckle.

"My dear, don't tell me you've forgotten about the charity ball were supposed to attend tonight?" he smiled endearingly.

She then remembered their conversation early this morning, Han Tu Mo's visit really made a mess.

Lim Yi Sheng went to her side and kissed the side of her head.

"Were you too busy to even forget this?"

"Uhm.. Sorry. I'll just organized everything and we're good to go, okay? Go and brew yourself a tea first."

"Okay." he removed his coat and neatly placed it on the sofa before going to the kitchen and brewed himself and his wife a tea.
