This voice! could it be...

- Anja?

After hearing the message Anja jerked in excitement. For the first time in three weeks, she hears a voice that she can trust.

- "Abis? So this thing really did connect us again."

「Analyzed」

Anja seems to be in an uneasy situation. But, what could it be that her heart pounds so ominous? Her breathing pattern seems to be a little off as well. But other than that she seems calm.

- Why did you need to get into contact with me? Is everything alright?

Suddenly I hear a pause in her reaction.

- "First! Where have you been? We have looked all over the place for you. It takes this to find out that you're alive still."

Even though her anger seems real, her response was just a cover-up. She never allowed anyone to see her at such a vulnerable state. But now there may be three different people to see her at her second-lowest state in her life.

- What's really going on? I can tell your hiding something.

This made Anja even more hesitant and makes it harder to respond. He looked at her with so much respect, and now that may crumble.

- "I... I've got.... Kidnapped!" She said in a low tone of voice.

Huh? Kidnapped? ...Her response nearly made laugh. Even though I can sense her seriousness it's too hilarious to me. I mean she's an S rank, her status alone should keep her from getting kidnapped so who could've done it? Another S rank maybe.

- Where are you- ...Nevermind dumb question. Do you know who kidnapped you? I said walking into my dorm.

- "The people who kidnapped me were Ambrocio and Ryuji my former security guard." She said in disgust.

- Ryuji? ...Ambrocio the S rank?

- "Ryuji is the security guard that I had to test you on the day of your evaluation. And yes the S rank Ambrocio."

The news got me just a little excited, I mean harming a soldier from another country is a war crime. This can start a war. Meaning I can kill him without any penalty for it.

- "I can tell from here how excited you are to fight Ambrocio... But he's Japan's fifth most powerful fighter. he's ranked at twenty-four amongst all S ranks. It won't be that easy."

This ruined my mood. I was just too eager to see how much more powerful I became. But she's right, he's incredibly powerful. But there are twenty-three more S ranks higher than him.

I take my clothes off and stepped into the shower. The warm water drops feel great. This has become my favorite time of the day here. After they took me out of class to train me, they gave me zero time to breathe unless it's lunch. Other than that the shower is the best place for me to think.

I step out of the shower and lay on my meditation mat. I browse through my options in the store. I continue to scroll until I found something.

Anja attains a calm demeanor as Ambrocio holds multiple torturing weapons. Anja catches a glimpse of Ryuji's grin behind him.

Anja realized that it has been over ten minutes, twenty-four minutes. 'Where is he?' Anja thought to herself.

"Anja... do you think I'm just a pathetic man now?!" Ambrocio remarked. Bamboozled Anja lifts her eyebrow at him. He simply scoffs and grabs a cleaver from his bag.

"It's what you told me two years ago bitch!" Ambrocio said.

Ryuji lets out a small chuckle gaining Ambrocio's attention. "What's so funny?" he asked. Ryuji's mood turned and he cautiously backed away from him.

"Oh.. Nothing sir," Ryuji said scared.

"That's what I thought."

"Now back to you bitc-...." Before he could finish Ambrocio sensed another high power reaching them.

Before they could come he figured that he might as well kill Anja and escape. He grips onto the cleaver tighter and swings it toward Anja's neck... But before reaching her neck a hand grabbed him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Abis said in a tempting manner.

Ryuji attempts to attack him but in the same instant, Abis controlled him by his shadow dropping Ryuji to his knees. "Who are you?" Ambrocio said angerly. He tries to swing his knife at Abis, but miss to Abis leaning back a few inches back.

「Mission: Save Anja」
