Hospital Room

"Sir, how do you feel now?"

Just a little groggy! I'll be better for the fight.

"Okay sir, I want to trust you... but your condition is..."

I turn to the mirror to see the left side of my face swollen, becoming red and transitioning to purple I keep my eye shut. The nurse tried to put healing ointment onto it but that ultimately failed. I touch it to feel the wound, but as soon as I do she screeches, "Stop, you'll ruin that already handsome face!"

What do you mean? I asked her.

She looks at me as if I was an idiot, which I must agree I'm not thinking straight right now.

"Well... This wound may be that serious. We don't know yet."

I feel a slight sense of irritation. She hasn't told me about my condition yet. The pain only grows more and more intense by the second, I can sense incredible irritation from the nurse. She hands me a healing potion, and instead of applying it to my face, I drink it.

Ouch! I yelled.

She turns to me in worry and anxiousness.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

Yeah, I'm fine. I told the nurse.

She reaches inside her bag and takes out bandages. "Don't worry, I need to wrap your face for two hours."

After she finished wrapping my face, she seems anxious to ask something. ...is there something you want to ask? As I asked she became fl.u.s.tered.

"Oh, well Xi Lao didn't want to tell me... so I thought I shouldn't ask about it. But... um, how did you get this wound?" She asked.

I begin twiddling my fingers. Haha, well it's funny... Xi Lao has been training me. And along with training me, we spar and he beat me.

Anja glances around. She sits in a chair, in the middle of a large dark room. She tries to wiggle free but the ropes holding her arms down only tightens.

"Dammit, how did I let him do this?!"

"So your awake!" Someone said.

When Anja turns to see who it was talking a man's figure arises from the shadow.

"Ambrocio?" Anja said cautiously.

When her eyes focused enough, she found that it wasn't Ambrocio but instead the guard who had poisoned her and helped Ambrocio. This made her furious beyond one's contempt.

"Anja.. you finally woke up I see! I've been waiting for this all week." He remarked.

".. Do you really think that this is gonna hold me still?"

"Yes, because you have the bracelet on right now." He said while pointing at her wrist.

Anja noticed that she felt a little fatigued but wasn't sure why. But still, she cannot know if he's bluffing or not because her arm is tied behind the chair. It seems they knew where her weapons were hiding because they took her boots and jacket.

She looks at him in frustration, the ground is freezing and the wood that she sits on continue scratch her back.

"Ryuji, I have always been kind to you.. and this is what you do?! I'm disappointed!" Anja told him hoping he would untie her.

"Do you want me to untie you? Sorry but I have my orders from someone higher than you so I can't. Unless..."

"Tch, unless what?"

Ryuji's eyebrow raises and his demeanor changes. "Nevermind, maybe later. ...Also, my name isn't Ryuji. I just told you that so you wouldn't get suspicious of me!" He said to her.

"Huh?"

"Why such a shocked expression on your face? Hahaha, it makes me laugh seeing you like this." He spoke leaving the room. "I'll be back to check on you."

*Creak Shut*

Anja's now left alone, all that she can do is hope she can get herself free quick enough. Then suddenly something a screen emerged from nowhere. "What is this?" She realized that this is what she had seen in front of Abis.
