Dungeon, New Floor (3)

Saturday March 18

"Build Up???"

We make our way to the next floor. ^Floor Three you may enter^

The door opens on its own, what waits behind it is an endless hallway. With Duster still unconscious. Ash had no choice but to step up as leader.

Upon our arrival to the next floor what awaits us is a vast spacious empty hallway with candles being the only source of light.

'Lets go waiting for Duster to wake up is to time consuming.'

We follow Ash down the hallway.

The walls are painted in 'garnet red' and the candles are held up by a copper wall mounted candle holder.

[Destination: Within 25 feet]

The boss room is only within 25 feet away from me; Ash hind sense made him realize us closing in on the boss. He turned towards us and lay Duster down.

Everyone just glares at him.

'....are you with me.'

Just like that he pumped the squad up, the energetic feeling in the room rose. And instead of growing tension being forced onto Clair he takes head on to himself. Excitement fills the group, they all burst in the spur of the moment.

'YEAH!'

They run into the next floor!.. Making their way to the boss room. Leaving me, Duster, and Clair. I put Duster on my shoulder while Clair hold the backpack, she walk hunched over, barely able to walk I control her shadow releasing the weight off her back. We make our way to meetup with the rest of our squad. Our way up to them they used their burst of energy and slain all the monsters standing in their way. The boss room; the energy emitting from it is strong.. So strong that even the D ranks can sense it.

[Detecting high levels of chi…. Chi level averages around 210 to 250.. Comparison: Player level stands around 110 to 120]

From what the system said I can tell that the being behind that door is quite powerful.

[Power Boost: 110%, Current Chi level: 170 to 190]

Once again the system is giving me a healthy boost in power, quite the healthy plot armour I must say. But still, the power emanating from that room is heavy and powerful, so powerful Ash won't even attempt to advance any further.

The time on Dusters awakening just got reset.

I don't know why but I feel as if that room has som-....

*Error Error shutting down… error..error..erro...*

A sudden pain came to me, I take a step back and lie duster against the wall. Clair falls to the ground as the backpack grows to heavy and my control over her shadow is now gone. The scars from the goblins resurface and the pain overwhelms me. Jonah runs to me and find me covered in blood; my throat slit, and tendons cut from my body I can feel myself dying. I nothing but muttering as my loss of blood causes my hearing to become smothered.

'Asap,'

'... Someone stop the bleeding.'

I began to pass out, with the only thing leading out the darkness is a small sparkle of light. The more I move toward it, the more I know I'm not supposed to.

'Get the healing potions.'

The light near closer, I yearn for the day of peace. And this is the closest I'll get. I feel calm as if I floating in a river awaiting my death.
