Dungeon Stairway, Floor 2

Saturday March 18

11:13 a.m

We saunter up the spiral of stairs in front of us, Duster leads the way while Ash stands behind him prepared to kill more monsters. We've walked for at least 10 minutes, I sense the fatigue on the mage type soldiers; and walk near them in case of battle. A pebble fall to us, we glance up and what do we see, giant boulders weighing back and forth. Someone's pushing the boulders.

[Life Force not detected] 

Not a single life form was detected within 90 meters. But I can sense a faint trace of Chi lying around.

"Get to the top of the stairs, those boulders will fall on us at any moment now," I shouted.

Moments later everyone began to move; in a respectful manner everyone ran up the staircase, not pushing, shoving, just sprinting in a neat line.

[Dark Mana detected]

Why is there mana, that most likely means that those boulders are rigged. They can move in any direction at any moment. I stopped running and leaped into the air, grabbing the edge of the staircase holding the nearest boulders. I hop on top of the boulder and smashed it into pieces. I punch every boulder I run across, and smashed them into two dozen pieces.

"Is this the strength of the usual C rank combat type," Duster asked Ash, leading Ash to shrugging his shoulders.

Ash and Duster speeds up to help me smash the boulders, but by the time they make it to me I've already smashed all of the boulders. They stop to catch a break.

"That's some strength you got." 

Ash stares me down, analyzing me he can't come to a concussion. I pick up to large pieces of the boulder and tossed it to them, they catch it and weigh.

"At first… I thought it was a rigged trap, but the opposite."

He quickly came to the realization that the boulder was fake, it was supposed to be used to keep us away from both them and the boss. From that alone it tells me that the boss is weak and I can face him toe to toe. 

I run a power level scan on everyone here.

[Power Leveling completed]

His power level currently stands at : ???.

"I can't measure his power," 

"Why, I should be able to… right?''

-2 minutes-

We finally make our way to the top, the only thing standing in our way ; is this wooden door. Even though it's wooden it's greatly effective stopping attacks from Ash.

[Objective: Open Door]

I look around the room for something that can open the door, after a few seconds I remember that I can use shadow travel.

      [Shadow Travel activated]

I also use shadow creation to enter the door by shadow travel while I stand here. 

*creak* the wooden door opens, I disassembled my Shadow creation before they could realize, but I already noticed stares coming from the girl with the maroon colored hair. We enter the next room which is nothing but stone cold concrete. A cold breeze hits me and a total of six monsters are standing in the dark.

*clack clack*

The being standing before me is a minotaur and 4 leprechauns. There's an additional being, an elf . They sit there waiting, as if they would only fight if we got any closer. 

[Objective: Kill Minotaur]

The big catch is the minotaur, he's more powerful than the centaur but the leprechauns are leagues below the elves. This battle should take a few minutes if I actually fight, but I need to keep this lie of me being an S rank going. 

"I'll fight the minotaur," I declared. 

Duster already noticed that the minotaur is quite powerful, in fact it carries more strength than Ash. And to make it worst it's level of power almost matches up to Dusters. 

"Go ahead and die." Duster told me.

I already died before, once more won't hurt. This minotaur can't do as much harm to me as all of the goblins.

I charged in head first, before the minotaur could react I used Shadow Control. Due to him being so powerful I couldn't hold him for long even with Yami's boost. The minotaur moments away from being beheaded, lowered his head pointing his horns towards me. I quickly hesitate and bounce back. The minotaur then charges after me acting just like a bull; and I kick him in the knee cap. He squeals and Ash hits him in the back of the head with his shield knocking him to the ground.

"I don't know why, but you made an opening for me to attack," Ash said in a confused way.

"You're stronger than your rank aren't you."

I stay quiet observing the minotaur, The maroon haired girl casts a binding spell on the minotaur stopping him from getting up. Despite the minotaur being stronger all of us we stand on top of it chanting victory. I clinched onto yami and beheaded the minotaur, all while the leprechauns stood there watching from a far. Suddenly Ash starts to vomit, the renched smell spreads through the room and won't stop vomiting. The leprechauns smile and chuckle to one another, now I get it they set a spell on Ash.

"Duster kill the leprechauns," 

He replied by yelling what, so I grabbed his spear and threw it at one of the leprechauns. One of the mages caught on to what I was doing and summoned mini meteors to hit them, instantly killing them. 

Ash stops puking and after the curse set on him his skin returned to his normal color. The room grows quiet, and the leprechauns are now slayed. I get a sense that there's more.
