City of Minerva, Dungeon Gates

Saturday March 18

10:42 a.m

I sense a deep ominous energy emitting beyond this gate, we stand in the thriving city of Minerva. Minerva is a city within the royal continent; the second most popular city within the Royal Continent only behind Athens. 

*Creak creak*

The gate begins to open, rust built up from not being opened in awhile fall off, the gate doors fully opens. The other soldiers can sense the immense negative energy emitting from inside the gates, and they hesitate going in. 

"We can't back out now, LET'S GO," duster yelled raising his spear in excitement. After Duster's outbreak everyone else raises their fist into the air, they yawp, and screech chanting the words of victory. They all run into the gate, and without noticing they leave the bag that carries our food, water, potions, and backup weapons. 

I grab the large backpack and put it on my back, my body slant forward and my body becomes hidden behind the backpack. I kickstart my slow journey into the dungeon.

"It's okay, I'll hold the bag.. You should get some practice in," I say with my best impression of a smile. 

I feel it a drag that I have to hold the bag, but for some reason I see potential in Jonah. He smiles and returns to the rest of the guild, Duster stares at me and palms his forehead, "All of you should listen to me, I'm the highest ranking here," he yelled that to the rest of the squad. He believes himself to be the highest ranker, the organization didn't give him my real information. I find this weird, but I'm gonna stay silent knowing that there was a reasoning for their judgement.

I join the squad and travel down the cave along them. [Detection activated] I sense a pack of wild wolves, they surround us with numbers 31 to 18. They close in on us, to warn the other members I yell wolves and they instantly got on alert. All at once the wolves rushed us, each skill level of the wolves stood at C ranks alone, and with those numbers with stood at a disadvantage. Ash slashes through every wolf that steps in his way protecting the E ranks from danger. Most of the D ranks fought alongside the C ranks and they easily slay the wolves.  

With only 19 wolves dead, the alpha wolf attacks me from behind. The large wolf launches toward me at full speed, Duster catches a glimpse of the wolf and seconds before it reached me, his spear gets lodged into the wolf's c.h.e.s.t being thrown at frightening precision barely missing my face. When I examined the spear I saw a boar spear, it was usually used for hunting. It stands at 42 centimeters or 17 in. I turned to see a furious Duster with a naginata, a Japanese style spear, it can easily be confused with a sword but it's noticeably longer and more narrow than a normal sword.

"If you're not gonna fight then step aside," he called back his spear and it transformed back into a shield. 

Dusters magic specializes in transforming magic, for example if he grabbed a normal rock and focused his chi into the center of it he can turn it into a spear or a shield.

*clack clack*

The sounds coming from his shoes are rather odd, I also noticed that he has spur on his boots but the sound that his shoes are making doesn't have anything to do with the shoe. He clinch onto his naginata and swiftly behead 3 wolves and one foul swoop. Ash finishes off the rest of the wolves and we sustained very little almost to none injuries. The healers all gather around the injured which consists of D rank soldier's.

Before the alpha wolf attacked me I noticed something, a saw 2 wolves running toward Jonah but not even their bodies were found. I scan the room around and can only sense a little amount of blood, but the wolves scent never left that area.

Drawing them out, we see a centaur accompanied by two elves. With it only being three they'll be much harder to fight due to each of them being a high level B rank. The centaur is leading them and the elves are back up. The elves prepare to fire, the centaur puts his bow to his back and grabbed the spear. He charged straight for us attacking at full speed. 

[Shadow Control activated] I hold the two elves back and focused on Ash attacking the centaur, "quick go after the elves while I hold them back," he dashes to the with the aid of two mages back him up. One mage summons a stage of ice, catching the centaur off guard, sending an indirect attack against the elves. And the other is consistently buffing Ash and Duster. Ash blocks the centaur spear, shattering it with his shield; then beheading the centaur. Duster sliced one elf in half but missed the other. Ash backed Duster up stabbing her in the neck. 

In total Ash and Duster killed at least 30 monsters alone. They call the rest of us to collect the droppings and store it in the vase, the award droppings the centaur left behind will worth around 100 gold.
