Rise Of The Crimson Empire!

Hello everyone! Currently I and Sylvie and making our way to the palace while thousands of citizens overlook the carriages wondering what is going on. It's quite the experience actually.

Anyways on the carriage Sylvie had attached our empire's flag onto the sides to allow people to know who we affiliate with and to keep an eye out in the future for this flag. The gryphons are also attracting quite the attention with their silver armour that even impressed the master blacksmiths watching.

Not only are there many citizens watching there are also many adventurers, nobles or at least people who work for them, and merchants. These will all help play a role in the future and its best to get their opinion of us now to be good.

As we continued this way more and more people arrived to watch as we got closer and closer to the palace. There are now many soldiers guarding the road and patrolling the area. It seems they are treating this as a major event that takes the utmost priority.

Soon the gates surrounding the palace came into view and they were just as big as the outer gates. The only difference is that there is a Phoenix on a shield engraved onto the gate.

With a creak the gate opened allowing us entry so we soon followed the second prince's carriage. Once we had passed we were guided to the front of the palace where we parked the carriages. It wasn't just our carriage there, it seems that many nobles or at least the important ones were invited to attend the discussions and to meet us.

As soon as the carriage stopped a maid opened the door for us as Sylvie took hold of my hand and helped me out of the carriage although I didn't really need help. As I stepped out I heard gasps from all around as many people's eyes fell onto me.

I looked around to notice many red faces from men and women alike. I should also clarify that the demon empire doesn't discriminate against gender when regarding the military so there are man and women soldiers guarding the palace.

Anyways after this little show we were guided through the palace to the meeting room. We passed many paintings, art pieces, workers, and soldiers as we made our way through. After maybe 10 minutes of walking we arrived in front of a golden door with many artistic pattens engraved into it. On each side of the door stood two royal guards with golden armour with emerald green outlining.

Once they noticed us and the second prince they knocked on the door to ask for permission to let us enter although after they had a glance at my and Sylvie's face first. Once they received permission they let us enter in which we would arrive in a large throne room filled with many people and the royal family.

The room I could only image was filled with nobles and advisors from all over the country. There was some light talk until we entered the room in which everyone became silent. Not going to lie it's pretty awkward and embarrassing when all eyes fall onto you but I didn't let it show on my face. I think.

Once we had fully entered the room we were then shown to two throne like seats next to the demon empire's royal family. The whole time their sight never left me. Seating near us was the demons empire's king, queen, crown prince, the second and third prince, the crown princess, and the youngest child the second princess.

During all of this Sylvie's hand never left mine which did revive some weird gazes but they assumed that it was alright to do so in our country. When we had finally seated the king, Claudius, welcomed us and introduced his family. Once done with that he moved onto the main topic at hand.

-I thank everyone for answering my summons to the palace in such short notice. Today we are here to discuss the potential alliance between the demon empire and the Crimson empire. We, today, wish to join hands and bring our countries closer together through trade, non-aggression pact, and exchange of information between the two.

These were what we had previously agreed on doing. Trade agreement will obviously help my country earn income and bring in population while it will help their country gain new resources. The non/aggression pact will help both countries keep a safe and peaceful atmosphere with each other. While the exchange of information can be anywhere from warning each other of another countries attack to exchange of research if that is what we wish to do. Overall I as well as Sylvie are happy with these terms to the alliance.

Everything seemed like it would go well. Obviously there may be some opposition but we will deal with that when it shows itself.

-Hello everyone. I am called Sylvie and I am a close assistant to her majesty, queen Iris. We are here today to allow for the two of our countries to become closer and hopefully become friends in the future. We are also hoping to stay in the demon empire for a few months as per agreed on by the king himself. We have some other requests but for now let's continue with the main ones. Firstly....

~I won't bore you with discussions~

After the initial discussions nobody had any disagreements, in fact they were more than willing to accept. After the important parts of the discussions we, well I had a request to ask of the king.

-Your majesty would it be alright to request you of something. I does not matter if you can accept or not I was just hoping to embrace able to inquire.

His majesty just nodded to my question and waited for the request. It didn't seems like he thought any bad of me and I was quite relieved to see that.

-I have heard of the academy of this empire for a while now and I have heard how it is used from every country on the mainland. I was hoping if you would give me access to be able to attend this academy while I am staying in the demon empire. I hope to be able to further extend my knowledge and get to see the ways of the demon empire with my own eyes.

At first the king seemed quite surprised at my request but shortly after he agreed to my delight. We had to talk about my position at the academy and so on but it should all be dealt with correctly. I am able to attend a proper school! I'm very happy if you can't tell. I was sure my happy state would continue but something had to ruin it. The crown prince just had to open his mouth while Sylvie was here.

-So queen Iris I believe you don't have a suitor no? This will be an excellent opportunity to find one and take them to your country which will further improve the relation between the two.

This is what he said with a sly smile on his face. Even the king and queen were a bit surprised with this statement made by their son but soon they and everyone else in the room came to the realisation that this is their chance to gain connections to a powerful royal family.

The crown prince had this look on his face like he had fount a new toy and that he was scheming something. He looked like he was really please with himself, or at least was until the entire room started to freeze over. Everyone stopped talking and scheming when this happened. Everyone turned to look not at me but at Sylvie who was now releasing her dragon aura that terrified even the king.

-Iris shall take no part in your games, crown prince. Neither shall she become a victim to others schemes. She shall not have to look for any suitors as we have already had the promise of marriage and are going to get married. This I shall announce now and any one who tries to force them or their ideas onto her will revive punishment from the Crimson empire.

Hahaha I knew that would happen but when everyone nodded in sync with pale faces I almost started laughing out loud. I looked over to the crown prince and met his gaze. I smiled in amus.e.m.e.nt to which he shivered and became slightly red in anger.

With the discussions now over Sylvie took me by the hand and led me to our room in the palace that was provided by the king. Once we got inside Sylvie held me and apologised for acting like that. I just giggled and lifted my face to meet hers. We once again pressed lips as we stood there in our own little world. Once we had our fun we planned to relax in our room then explore tomorrow.
