Rise Of The Crimson Empire!

Morning everyone. It's now the next morning and I yet again woke up in the warm embrace of Sylvie. It's very comfortable.

Anyways we both need to get up we're going to explore the city today before starting at the academy that I believe I'll be starting at in three days. So with that all said I woke Sylvie up, had a good morning kiss, got changed, and went out to have breakfast.

Currently I'm having to rely on Sylvie's blood when we're in private and I do have to say it's very delicious. But when I get the chance I'll try drinking other blood of strong beasts to try and gain better stats.

Right now me and Sylvie are walking out of the palace with our hoods on to avoid bring attention to us. We of course told the king just to be safe but he wanted to assign guards to us. Now don't get me wrong I can understand why he wants to but I refuse to have the crown prince and his guards follow us. Bring the prince along is bad enough but his guards wearing golden armour with emerald green highlights is a big no. It's like a beacon screaming someone extremely important is here! Pay attention and give them everything they want or else! I don't want that.

So with that said we rejected the kings request stating that we can more than defend ourselves and we will act with utmost respect to not disgrace our nation and his. After a little more convincing we had managed to drop the prince and his guards but we had to have secret guards to follow us. He said it's because it's disgraceful for the host nation to not guarantee the safety of important guests to his country. Oh well I guess.

As we walk down the main road there are many shops lining each side of the road. The shops range from cafes to clothes shops. There are other shops like weapon shops and so on but if we sign up at the adventures guild we can get a slight discount on all purchases from these shops. This is also something that me and Sylvie are going to do. After all we still need some money to spend ourselves.

Not only this but I wouldn't mind having my own residence inside of the capital. This will serve for more than just a holiday home for me though. This residence will also act as a meeting point for all those that wish to join my nation and become a vampire. I will obviously hire workers of my race to scout for potential citizens and see if they are willing to join. It will be far easier to transfer vampires over to the other continent than regular citizens.

Anyway let's move on. For the first stop me and Sylvie arrived at a well known restaurant that has amazing food, or at least to the locals. The restaurant itself has a homely feel to it and is quite comfortable to be in. Once we entered we were immediately led to a table and seated. Once we were passed a menu I scanned it to find something to eat.

On the menu the things that caught my eye was the various meats that were available. The meats ranged from orc meat, mystic deer meat, cloud leopard meat and a few others. I of course went for the meat options although this is a pretty extreme breakfast but this seems normal here. Sylvie also went for the meat option although she also had a large side of vegetables.

After we had ordered we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes till our food arrived. Although not as good as what my people can make because of the ideas I had provided it was still pretty good. A little bit salty though. I guess it's fine seeing as how not many other herbs are used unless you are a noble. Once we finished our meal we left after paying to continue to tour the capital.

We passed many buildings till we reached a large building that had many people wearing armour and weapons walking in and out. This of course was the adventures guild.

Walking through the doors a few people looked our way but soon lost interest. Probably because they can't see our faces but I'm not going to complain, makes things easier for us. We soon walked up the counter where the guild staff deal with people coming in to ask questions, hand in quests, and so on.

Behind the counter stood a blond, green eyes elf wearing the guild uniform. When we approached she saw us and smiled.

-Hello, my name is Jessica and if you have any questions you wish to ask me please feel free to do so.

This is what Jessica had said to us so of course we obliged and went straight to stating why we had come.

-Me and the one beside me wish to sign up to become an adventurer. Is there any restrictions to becoming an adventurer?

When I opened my mouth to speak the entire guild became quite as everyone looked in our direction. Even Jessica that had a business smile on faltered and stared at me once I opened my mouth to speak. I had to snap her out of her daze as she hurriedly made quick preparations to sign us up. She quickly stated that all she would need is our name, age, and stats minus the skills through a crystal orb presented to us.

We of course did as she had said. We both have our names and ages while also placing our hands on the orb. Sylvie went first and the stats read:

First things first I have gained a little amount of improvement. I have gained one level and a few more stats increase while Sylvie gained two levels. This is mainly because Sylvie had been killing most of the things that approached us despite me being stronger than her now. I think she may just be trying prove that she can protect me and so on. Also I have all the blood from the things that we kill while she has the meat which also explains why I have had a stats boost.

Now let's move on to Jessica. Firstly when we had told her our ages she didn't seem too surprised seeing as there are long lived races she wasn't too bothered by this. However once she saw our stats she immediately froze and then called for the guild master. Once she gained the guild masters permission to bring us to him or her she immediately led us to the back.

Once we arrived Jessica knocked on the door and a voice on the other side called out saying come in. Once we entered and man about 6 and a half foot cane into view. He had big muscles and scars all over his arms. He also had one large scar going from the top left of his face to the bottom right. He also had short black hair and deep green eyes.

Once we entered he looked up at us the motioned us to sit down of the couches in the middle of the room. As I and Sylvie say at one the guild master sat at the other as Jessica stood behind him. Once we all got comfortable he started to speak.

-Hello I am the guild master of the capital of the demon empire, Fane. From what I understand your stats are far more abnormal from what we are used to dealing with. Usually we would assign all new members to F but with you two it wouldn't be right to do so. So for now we're going to start you off at C rank. Is that okay with you two?

I for one had no problems with this and neither did Sylvie. So in response just nodded our head to with the guild master seemed quite please about. Once we sorted this little thing out we had a little talk about the rules and so on. You know like don't kill other guild members unless your own life was in danger and so on. I don't really have to explain them right. I'm just lazy so sorry.

Anyways we have now signed up to the adventurers guild and left the building. Next on the list is to go to the merchants guild to look at the available residences for sale and prepare for school. But we'll talk about this next time so bye for now!
