Rise Of The Crimson Empire!

Hi again! So a month has passed since we last talked and all the construction is finished including the furnishing of the mansions and palace! So right now all I'm waiting for is Sylvie and the people we rescued. From my estimates they should be here this afternoon so I only have to wait for a couple of hours.

Oh! And I should mention that those other two mountains in the vicinity have many major ore veins that will help set up the empire. I have already gone ahead and mined some materials to use as currency and experimentation.

What I mean by that is although there are materials from my old world here there are also some new materials. I had fount this one material that takes in sunlight to produce its own light when thrown into a dark area. So for now the problem about the lampposts around the city has been solved hurray!

With that said there are also many different types and because no one else has been here before there are lots and I mean lots of materials here. This will help my empire to gain lots of materials, give people jobs by hiring them for mining, and establish a foundation to get trade agreements with the demon empire.

Now apart from this I should also mention that I have levelled up and yet again gotten stronger. I'll just show my stats I guess.

So as you can see I have been able to get much stronger and even improve some skills. Which yes by the way is the cooking skill to max and Lightning magic to level 5. I'm quite proud at both. Hey! Don't laugh, okay the cooking skill may not be too great to be proud to get to max level but it's still something. *pout*

Well anyways I have gained a stat increase due to me drinking the blood of various beasts which has helped me improve by a lot. I've also regained my mana to full capacity due to the completion of the city and palace. It was quite a weird feeling when all that mana returned to me. Like a warm feeling but also the butterfly feeling in the stomach area. It's quite weird.

I had also decided to add a last name onto my stats. Crimson. I did this for two reason which were it give context to the name of the empire other than the eye colour of the vampire race. The other reason is exactly because I have red eyes.

Apart from these few things I've also done a few minor improvements to the area while I was waiting for Sylvie and the group. I had actually a lot more free time than I was expecting so during this time I had been writing books for the palace library. You must be wondering where I got the blank books from right?

Well I got them from the shop for only 5 gold per blank book! Over the course of me being essentially being reborn here till now I had earned a very large some of gold to spend. Up to now I have gained just over 20,000 gold!

I could also buy various other things like skills, bloodlines or other items and I will. I'm thinking of buying an advanced halberd skill and a halberd for me to use. For those who don't know what a halberd is imagine a spear with an axe near the spear point. If you still can't image it look it up. Don't be lazy.

Well anyway buying these two things will cost me around 19,000 gold. 15,000 for the skill and 4,000 for the halberd. Now you may be asking why a halberd? Well I think it looks quite cool especially if you could become advanced enough to twirl and spin it around. It has a capability to slash, stab, and is quite the powerful weapon. Or at least I believe so. I've only ever read it being used is some novels and they used it in cool ways.

Right, after I had bought these I had just over 1000 gold left. It hurts but it's worth it. I hope. Well I'm going to practice this and because it's a skill I bought it's only at level 1 so I need to improve it. So I'll talk to you when Sylvie and group get here.

~A few hours later~

After I worked up a sweat I decided I should get a bath at the palace, and yes you heard right a bath! I had actually fount another material that I called heat rocks and when they are exposed to any liquid they would heat up. Of course it could make the water too hot which was why I had them act like a tap so that the water would heat up to a certain degree and then enter the bath.

I had fount so many of these rocks that I was able to provide every household with a bath although not big but still a bath. A shower is still a bit of a stretch and it will take a lot more time to create so I just went with a bath. But I at least know that the capital with be a lot cleaner and overall healthier.

Well let's just move on shall we? I have still to find and grow the plants and other things that I will need to make soap and shampoo for the moment but this will be a job I will assign to some of the citizens to do. But for now I just bought these things from the shop because for some reason I can buy certain things from my old world like the shampoo that I really enjoyed using. Although they don't come in the plastic bottle but in a sort of leaf package.

So with these things I enjoyed my bath and had a relaxing time cleaning my body and hair. It's still slightly strange that I have no hair in the unwanted places but I'm not going to complain about it. Saves me an extra job. Anyways I love the feeling of my silky long hair while I run my fingers through it and my soft springy skin. No I am not boasting just simply describing okay?

Once I had finished with the bath and had gotten changed back into my clothes I left my room on the top floor of the palace. I stepped out onto the balcony to oversee the beautiful city I had created. The capital was now fully built and decorated with bright and colourful plants. Of course there are still things to do but at the moment the capital is completed and I'm quite happy with it.

While I was watching my city I saw with my advanced eyes Sylvie and the group approaching the walls of the most outer wall so I went down to greet them. Looks like things are about to finally get started hehehe.
