Well I'm back here again and this time I'm planning a city out. Crazy right? It happened very quickly but no use crying over spilled milk so let's move on.

So anyways currently I'm stood at the highest point of the palace which considering it was constructed out of a mountain it's quite high. Even though it isn't actually completed it's construction or at least not for another month it's stable enough to allow me to stand on it without disrupting the construction. No not because I'm fat but because it's still building around me okay!?

*Ahem* well I've currently got the territory management open and I have had a great idea of building the capital in sections so that it would be ready in a months time for when the citizens arrive. Because the battle happened at the most West Point of the continent it will take them about a months travel on foot to arrive here.

Right so I better get to work then. So first I'll start with the noble district. This area will be for vampires that class up to vampire nobles and are recognised by either me or Sylvie to be capable of this position. So for this I built another huge stone wall around the palace that would have enough space between to put multiple mansions around. I also built four gates on each side of the walls. One north, south, east, and west.

Then from there I built four main roads from the gates that will all meet in a large roundabout like circle that surrounds the palace walls. I even added lampposts on the side of the roads even though we don't really need them or have anything to light them but we will eventually. It will just look amazing at night with all the lights.

Now apart from the roads I also started construction of all the mansions in a grid like format. So I would start construction of four mansions and design each slightly different than the other. This would happen through out the entire noble district. Now there are many mansions filling the noble district that are well placed and will eventually all look beautiful. And yes I know what your thinking, was it really necessary to do all of them now? Yes don't question it.

Right so after I had completed most of the mansions I did a few decorations here and there adding plants like trees or flowers. I also had a few water fountains spread about that will eventually work once I get the water system up and running.

Because I have an enhanced memory I can remember a lot more from my past life which helps me make more modern style contraptions and buildings. Thus it helps me make a water system, sewer system and so on. I'll sort these out once the city is done.

After the noble district and built another pair of huge walls with only two gates this time located at north and south. This huge area of land will be filled with houses and so on. With in this area inside the walls I will section it of into four sections. East and west will be residential areas while south will be the commercial district and north industry. Of course mixing into the districts will be the odd pair of shops or other buildings that will be needed.

I am planning to add a large adventures guild and commercial guild building in these areas. I had fount our from Sylvie that there are adventures and merchants that uses these facilities. They help bring in a large amount of income for the country and that will help my country gain a good foothold.

In the four districts will also be schools and banks. Now free schooling isn't a common thing in this world and only the rich kids can go. But with my modern knowledge I know that a higher literacy rate helps the country develop and gain more money. Banks are also a concept that doesn't really exist here so I'm going to introduce this idea as well. The banks will be managed by the palace that will act almost like the main central bank.

Of course for these jobs I will have to train people myself and explain the concepts but once it gets going it should spread and get easier. Once the population gets bigger then more jobs will be filled out allowing the country to run smoother.

I had left the construction at that with buildings being built that were designed that they could be easily converted into either a home, shop, or workshop. Of course the four districts will be were only certain buildings can be made such as a blacksmith will only be acceptable in the industry zone. Noise pollution can be a major problem you know?

Well apart from the construction of these places I had also started the construction on the water and sewer system. Using the underground water channels that are constantly flowing to the ocean I was able to do this fairly easily. And I know I may be polluting the ocean but I have a solution.

Sylvie is able to creat runes that can be etched onto stone walls that can either keep something clean or turn something clean that's passed by it. Using these runes I will have Sylvie make them in a certain way that will purify the water before it reaches the ocean. Cool right?

So with that said most of the construction is under way and will be ready about a week before the citizens arrive. During the wait I will be either levelling up, collecting resources to reduce construction time/cost and making various other things.

Although it's a little more tough for me to do these tasks at the moment seeing how more that 75% of my mana was being consumed during the construction despite there being materials to help. But this is also to be expected as I had furnished most of the building except the mansions and palace.

When all the building is done then I'll furnish the mansions and then my palace. After that is done the capital in terms of being built will be done minus the few additional things that will be added later. These include things like military areas and a health system with a hospital much like the NHS system from my previous life.

Well not much left to do now but wait I guess. After the construction is done only another 2 months till me and Sylvie leave for the demon empire. So for now I'll see you guys later bye!
