Rise Of The Crimson Empire!

Hi everyone! Well it's been about 1 and a half months since we last talked. Nothing happened okay? You didn't miss anything. I had been essentially locked up in the palace doing work to help make sure that the capital runs as smoothly as possible. I had also avoided wearing a dress for the meantime but Sylvie's starting to get pushy. Help.

Anyways I'll just quickly talk about the capital since we have time. So where to start... well I'll talk about the citizens I guess. So after we assigned all the people jobs work went by quicker than we thought.

Because everyone had become apart of the vampire race their overall stats increased with it. That also means that the tasks they could do increased in efficiency. They became stronger, smarter and just overall more superior.

Due to this we were able to allow for manpower to be redistributed elsewhere. For example we now have 10 city guards that work the gates and Sylvie's wish of getting some maids has also come true. At the moment in the palace there is myself, Sylvie, a few maids, and the more capable people that help run the empire.

So far everything is running smoothly except for the few incidents that involved a magic beast attacking the gates. They were quickly dealt with by the guards and the materials as well as the blood were all put to use.

During this time I was also able to better fill out the library or as it's known by everyone else the royal library that you need special permission to enter from myself. Well anyways I was able to write down more information on things like modern medical ideas, food ideas, weapon ideas (aside from guns), and ideas on architecture.

It's a pretty wide and weird range of things to write down I know but it is something that can actually help in many areas. Of course I wouldn't put somethings in like guns as they cause far more problems than help. If I am to write about these things they will be in my personal space in the palace and will only be used as an absolute last resort.

Well I had also written things like agriculture ideas that I had spread to all the citizens, these were things about how to grow crops better or how to better use herbs. For now I had told them to not spread this knowledge to other places as we can use this for leverage in trade deals and so on. Thankfully around here my word is like law and everyone follows it although they readily do anyways.

Now although I and the citizens are vampires aside from Sylvie we can still eat food and taste it. It just doesn't give us any nutrients so we still have to drink blood. But being able to eat and taste food allows us to have that little bit of an enjoyment factor in our life's. So with that being said there are ideas of the royal family (me) setting up restaurants under the name of the empire. This will allow for good food to reach many places while also bringing in more income.

Now I should also come onto the topic about currency and how this works. So in this world pretty much every country uses the same ideas for currency except a few who believe themselves to be above the rest. So currency in this world works like this from my understanding.

1 copper = £1

10 copper = 1 silver

1 silver = £10

10 silver = 1 gold

1 gold = £100

10 gold = 1 platinum

1 platinum = £1000

So this is my understanding of currency in it's easiest form for me. And this is what the currency is like in the empire. This just helps us make it easier to trade with the other countries when involving money not exchange of goods and services. I should also mention that there is one more coin which is the rainbow coin which is equal to 10 platinum coins but this coin is only used when mass buying a large amount of goods between countries. You won't see anyone but royalty use these.

At the moment we don't have many of these coins because I don't want to make so many that the overall value of these coins go down. I could make millions of these coins with the materials on this continent but that wouldn't be the smartest thing to do. So instead when I go to the demon empire I'm going to offer a trade at a 3 month contract where we will sell processed materials for a fixed price. This will bring money into the empire while also setting our reputation for producing top quality goods.

That being said we still have to maximise our production lines but this can't be don't without more manpower. So while me and Sylvie are at the mainland I'm going to ask the demon king for things like if any orphanages have too many children. And yes I know what your thinking, why children? Well that's because it will be easier to convince children to join us while also giving them an education. This will greatly benefit us in the future.

Now although vampires don't age, as in they aren't bound by time, children can have the best potential when growing up. Children can learn quickly and I should also be able to gain their trust a lot easier. Yes that may sound cold but it will benefit them as well.

Right before we move on I'll quickly explain about the vampire race. Vampires like I had already said aren't bound by time but we are in no way immortal. We can still be killed albeit with great struggle of the thing trying to kill us. Vampires will keeping changing physically until their body reaches the physical age of 18. After that they stop physically changing unless they class up into a noble or so on.

I should also mention that it is very difficult for a vampire to become pregnant and when they do it takes about 2 years for the child to be born. I can only assume it's to stop a huge population overload. Oh and there is also a way for two women to get pregnant as well which can be considered good for me hehehe. Turns out there is a magic ritual that can be performed to allow two women to become pregnant with the others child. This magic ritual was used by some female only elf tribes that banished all men due to happenings from the past that shouldn't be repeated. You get the idea it's disgusting what happened.

Well anyways that's the info on our races bodies and pregnancy rates. So from that information you could probably guess that getting people from other races and converting them into the vampire race is far more important and easier for us. This is what we are planning to do once we depart and stay in the demon empire for a while.

We have plans to stay there for a while but it's not of too much concern as the people that are already here know all the systems, facilities, and can defend themselves. So that means I could stay at the demon empire for a while. We also have a communication crystal that will allow us to know what is happening here at all times through regular reports.

I'm also hoping to be able to attend the academy at the demon empire. That will allow me to gain connections to many countries and major nobles while also getting the chance to speak with the common people. No it's not that I just want to attend the academy. Shut up.
