When the trio was done shopping, An Yexi took the girls to lunch and then went home so the girls could get ready for their party. By the time seven rolled around, both girls were dressed and ready to leave. When Li Jun saw Li Hua he was stunned by her beauty, she was like a carbon copy of her mother when she was young. "Hua, you look so beautiful, just like your mother." He said beaming.

Li Hua started to blush after hearing her father's compliment, which made An Yexi laughed. "No need to feel embarrassed when it's the truth. Both of my daughters are going to make some boy really happy when you guys arrive."She stated. Li Ling who was downstairs for Li Hua to finish felt extremely jealous. She hated to amitted it but the fairy-style, purple and pink dress looked really nice on Li Hua's fair skin. Standing, she walked over, "You look so pretty, Elder sister Hua! The shop manager was right, that dress was made for you." Li Ling said giving Li Hua a bright smile.

"Thank you, Lingling, you look beautiful too." Li GuiRen was very happy to see his two granddaughters getting along, "Okay if they don't want to be late then they should be on their way." He said. "I asked for Driver Wu to take you there and back, remember your curfew, also Li Ling tell Lin Jiao happy birthday from the family." An Yexi said. Nodding her head, Li Ling grabbed Li Hua's hand, "Let's go, Elder sister Hua. Tonight is going to be a night you'll never forget." She said leading them to the door.

It didn't take long for them to arrive at 'Paradise Inn', the hotel that was holding Lin Jiao's party. Getting out of the car, Li Hua took a deep breath as she remembers all the events leading to her downfall. When the two walked inside the banquet hall, some people stopped talking and started to stare at the duo. Lin Jiao came over with a bright smile, "Lingling you're here!" "It's nice to meet you, Miss Lin. Thank you for inviting me." Li Hua said with a warm smile. Lin Jiao was a little caught off guard by how polite Li Hua was being, but she still trusted her best friend. If she gave this country bumpkin a chance then she would use it to harm Li Ling. The three had a nice conversation when more of Lin Jiao's guest and schoolmates called her over, Li Ling also went and asked if Li Hua wish to come, in which the latter declined.

In her past life, since Li Hua was so nervous and shy from being in a new environment she stuck by Li Ling's side. Since Li Hua was very dependant on her cousins help to get by in such a fancy party, she never thought Li Ling would give her a drugged drink. While Li Hua was standing at the dessert table, trying some delicious red velvet cake, a girl in a white dress walked over. Picking up a slice of cake, "Wow! That dress is so pretty! Where did you get it?" She said with sparkly eyes. Taking another bite of her cake, Li Hua tilted her head in confusion at the girl in white. Laughing, "Sorry! I tend to get excited when I see pretty things. My name is Qi DaiYu, a second-year at C-Peck Academy.

Li Hua instantly knew who this girl was, she was the fashion princess of the Qi family. Not only was she the pampered daughter of the Qi family, but she also grew up to be a fashion icon and a model who brought glory to her country. Putting down her plate, "Nice to meet you, I'm Li Hua." She said smiling. To Li Hua the best thing about Qi DaiYu was that she never liked Li Ling, even in her past life, she read an article that talked about how two could never be friends in their life.

'My friend, are you going to befriend this perky person?' AI asked as she watched the events from Li Hua's sight. Keeping a smile on her face as Qi DaiYu talked, 'Of course, not only will I get points from her the closer our relationship gets, I also have someone behind me when I take Li Ling down. She'll also play a great role in tonight's little performance.' Li Hua told AI in her mind.

The two spent a great time talking to each other about different topics when a waiter came and offered them some drinks. "Sorry, but I'll have to decline." Li Hua said when the waiter turned her way. Li Ling came up from behind her and picked up to drinks and offered one to Li Hua, "Elder sister, they'll be having the toast soon so you need to drink a little if only to give a face to our host." She said sounding like she was giving sincere advice.

Taking the glass, "I see that's how it was, thanks for the help, Lingling." Li Hua said with a smile and then looked toward the stage. Li Ling was cheering inside, Lin Jiao assured her that she had a waiter put a very potent aphrodisiac inside Li Hua's drink. Once the toast was over then it would only take five minutes until Li Hua made a complete fool out of herself. Lin Jiao walked up on stage and got everyone's attention, "Everyone! I want to thank you all for coming to my birthday party." She said in an excited voice.
