Return Of A Star

Everyone looked over and saw An Yexi glaring at the shop attendant. Walking over, An Yexi stood in front of Li Hua and crossed her arms. "Now, give me a clear explanation of why she should leave." She said in a cold voice, almost yelling. While she was waiting for Li Ling to come out in her next dress, she thought Li Hua was taking an awfully long time. Never did she expect to see such a scene upon exiting the waiting area.

Li Hua wasn't surprised to see her mother, in fact with the help of AI she was timed to the moment of her arrival. With the help of AI, all she had to do was give a pitful attack at the shop attendant and wait for her to say something rude and lose her polite appearance. The shop attendant, on the other hand, was very shocked and fearful. She didn't realize that this poor looking young miss was connected to the powerful Madam Li

"M-madam Li, i-is she with you?" She asked stuttering. Narrowing her eyes, "Yes she is, now how about you tell me why my daughter should leave?" An Yexi asked in a colder tone than earlier. This time the shop attendant eyes grew wide at Madam Li's words. 'Daughter? Didn't Madam Li already go to the dressing room with Young Miss Li already, so who was this young lady?' The shop attendant thought while looking between the two.

Before she could respond and defend herself, the manager of the shop hurried over and stood between the two. "Madam Li, please let me apologize about my employee's rude behavior." The manager said bowing. Flipping her hair over her shoulder, "You know, I believed this was a respectable establishment, but if this is how you treat your customers I'm starting to think differently." An Yexi said.

Hearing her words, the manger started to feel a cold sweat on her face, "Madam Li, I deeply apologize about her behavior." "You can say all the words you want it still won't change their mindset. Maybe I should just take my business elsewhere, to a shop that doesn't judge others and allow them to shop freely." An Yexi declared while glaring at the rude shop attendant.

An Yexi knew she could end this matter, but would that do justice for her daughter. How dare these people looked down on the eldest daughter of the Li family. Li Hua was really enjoying this show and was super happy her mother was defending her, but she knew it had to end. Besides, she had a way to gain love point from everyone even the rude shop attendant.

Grabbing her mother's arm, "Mom, I'm fine. I also don't want to cause too much trouble for the shop." She said in a small voice. An Yexi looked at her daughter and could only shake her head. Her daughter was so kind-hearted to forgive these people, as a mother she couldn't let her down. Looking back at the manger and shop attendant, "If my daughter doesn't wish to make trouble for the store then I suppose I can let this matter go for her sake." An Yexi said.

The shop attendant and manager both felt relieved hearing An Yexi's words. They also felt very thankful toward the young miss who forgave them even after being rude. The two were going to express their gratitude, but they were interrupted by Li Hua. "While I do not wish to make trouble for the store, I still believe the store should give some form of an apology." Smiling at the two ladies, "So I have a perfect idea, how about you show me the best dress in LX. My original purpose today was to get an outfit for a party later today, so show me a dress that will impress." Li Hua said with a bright smile.

The manger already knew that the shop would have to clear this mess or risk the anger of the Li family. "No problem, the designer and owner of LX just recently brought in a new rare dress. It's fresh and youthful, while also giving the aura of elegances. I believe this dress would look lovely on you Miss Li." The manager said with a nervous and hopeful smile.

An Yexi agreed with Li Hua's proposal, so she linked her arms with her daughter while still giving the shop employees a cold stare. "Then we'll end this matter here, we'll be in the waiting area while you go bring that dress to us. In the future, I hope that grand establishment such as LX won't do such disappoint and rude things to its customers." With that said, the two went to the waiting area not caring about the stares around them.

Once inside, Li Ling who already tried and selected her dress came over showing a worry expression. "Elder sister Hua, are you okay? I saw the actions of those rude employees and felt very worried." She said in a pitiful voice. Li Hua smirked inside, 'if you saw them treating me in such a way why didn't you intervene.' She thought but kept a calm smile.

"I'm fine, luckily our dear mother stood by my side." Li Hua said shooting her mother a warm smile. An Yexi's heart warmed at Li Hua's words, pulling her to sit down on the sofa, "Let's not think about that ugly event, I can't wait to see you in that rare design." Hearing An Yexi's words Li Ling tilted her head, "Rare design?" She asked in confusion.

Smiling, "The shop decided as a form apology to give me the rarest and best design of LX. The manager believes that I'll surely impress everyone at tonight's party." Li Hua said. Li Ling clenched her fist but kept a smile on her face. Impress! Li Ling wanted to see how much this country bumpkin can impress when she's done with her plan. Li Hua didn't miss the way Li Ling's eyes flickered when she heard her news. She already knew what she was thinking, tonight will prove to be a wonderful game.
