Shaking with rage, Lin Jiao glared at Li Hua, "Li Hua! You cannot join the drama club!" She yelled. Tilting her head, "Why Miss Lin, please tell me why I can't join the club?" Li Hua asked with a calm smile on her face. "Why! You still have to ask! The reason is clear, you cannot be in the same club as me!" Lin Jiao yelled pointing at Li Hua.

Li Hua just stared at Lin Jiao like there was something wrong with her brain. "Miss Lin Jiao, I didn't know that you were the drama club president." She said. "What are you talking about!" Giggling, "Well, that is the only reason I could think of to make me believe you had the power to decide who could join or not." Li Hua said smiling at Lin Jiao.

Glaring at Li Hua, "You can think whatever you wish, the matter at hand is that I will not be in a club with you!" She screamed. "Rather if you're in the drama club or not will have nothing to do with me. If you truly do not wish to be in the same club as me then you can simply quit then that will simply solve your problem." Li Hua explained.

Li Ling was keeping quiet because she didn't want to be caught in this conflict but she prayed that Li Hua would quit. She felt the same way as Lin Jiao if she had to see Li Hua's face more than normal she wasn't sure what she would do in the future. Stepping forward, "Elder sister, you just return to the Li family and haven't learned much about the high society. If you want to join a club, why not join a calmer club than the drama club. When we put on performances it can be stressful and a lot of hard work until the play opens. I'm worried that it might be too big of stress for you." Li Ling said sounding sincere.

Li Hua rolled her eyes inside, if the drama club was so stressful and so much work then why was she still a member. "Lingling, I was told that the clubs at Chengdu aren't like regular high school clubs. Depending on the career field you join the clubs could help you make connections and further your job scope in the future. So even if the drama club becomes stressful or if I'm given a lot of work, don't you think the benefits are greater?" Li Hua said smiling.

Li Ling kept her kind smile but couldn't stop the coldness that entered her eyes. She really wishes she could slap Li Hua to relieve some of this anger but at last, she just kept quiet. Lin Jiao realize that Li Hua was determined to join the club and wouldn't drop out no matter what so she was full of anger.

"Li Hua! If you don't rethink joining the drama club, then I'll make sure you'll regret it!" She said in a cold tone glaring at Li Hua.

"Oh, really?" A deep voice said behind the girls. When they looked to see who was speaking, three different emotions passed through the girls. One was shocked, another was fear, and the last one was intrigued.

Li Hua to amitted that she was very intrigued to see one of Chengdu's princes coming their way. Also, it was not any prince but the most popular one, Fu MingYu, so she wonders why he came and spoke up after hearing Lin Jiao's words. On the other hand, Li Ling was very shocked, she never thought that Fu MingYu would witness such a scene. She had spent the better part of three years trying to get closer to the Fu family and always tried to have a good relationship with Fu MingYu.

"Young master Fu, what are you doing here?" Li Ling asked in a shaky voice clearly scared about his sudden arrival. Glancing at Li Ling, Fu MingYu then looked at Lin Jiao, "I had some business and was on my way home but who would have thought I would hear such interesting things." He said in cold voice.

"Young master Fu, p-please don't misunderstand, we were just chatting!" Lin Jiao said already turning pale from his cold voice and icy eyes. Smirking, "Really? Chatting, but the conversation seemed very interesting." He said.

Turning to Li Hua, "I heard some very interesting things as I was walking, and I have a question for you miss. Did the drama club president already agree to let you join the club?" He asked. Li Hua didn't know why this guy was helping her but from the expression on Li Ling and Lin Jiao's faces she would play along. "Yes, I came yesterday and spoke with Senior Ye Xun and she accepted my admission and told me to come to the club meeting today." She said calmly.

Nodding his head, "I see. Now I wonder why someone believes they have more authority than the club president to decide who joins or not. Why don't you tell me?" He said giving Lin Jiao an icy stare.

Feeing very scared to be stared at by Fu MingYu, Lin Jiao had a hard time forming words, "Y-young master. You misunderstood, you don't realize what kind of person Li Hua is and how she treats others." Lin Jiao said in a shaky voice.

When Lin Jiao was done talking, Fu MingYu let out a very scary chuckle, "Really? Is that the case? Now, if you asked me if I had to choose between you and her, I rather have her in my club." He stated.

Lin Jiao started to turn red from anger and embarrassment, to have one of the princes dismiss you so coldly wasn't something normal people could stand. She could only glare at Li Hua believing this was all her fault that she had to be treated in such a way. Ignoring Lin Jiao and her feelings, Fu MingYu turned back to Li Hua. "Junior, I don't know what's problems you all have but you don't have to worry about such people harassing you. In fact, if I had such horrible rumors spread around the city about me I would be too ashamed to cause such a scene and make a complete fool of myself in public." He said with a smile.

Li Hua smile seeing the sad expression on Lin Jiao's face and bow toward Fu MingYu, "Thank you senior Fu, I'll definitely remember your words." Looking at Li Ling, "Lingling, it seems that Miss Lin doesn't wish to be in the same club as me. Since that is the case, let's not have her ruin our fun. We should go to our club meeting before we're late." She said smiling.

Li Ling could only nod her head and follow Li Hua inside the auditorium, giving Lin Jiao a sad look. Lin Jiao wanted to go to the club meeting but how could she when Fu MingYu already heard her words. Clenching her fist, Lin Jiao ran away with tears welling in her eyes, with hate for Li Hua growing even stronger in her heart.

Seeing Lin Jiao run away like a dog with its tail between its legs had Fu MingYu smirking. Looking at the auditorium doors, he had a complicated look before leaving.
