Return Of A Star

The next day

Li Hua was very happy on her drive to school, although she was slightly upset when she woke up this morning. Yesterday, when she returned home she was very excited to share her good news with her family. That was her plan but a sudden visit by the elders of the Li family, and seeing that they weren't in a good mood she decided to wait to tell them. Even though the Li family doesn't have any negative view of her, Li Hua still had to be careful when it came to her grandmother.

Li GuiRen truly loved Li Hua and was very happy with the return of his true granddaughter, and even though Lan Fei cared for Li Hua and happy she returned her heart wasn't fully opened. The reason being is because Lan Fei always wanted her grandchildren once Li Jun was married but when Li Hua went missing it broke her spirit. When her son adopted Li Ling she doted on her and treated her with lots of love and care. After the news of finding Li Hua, Lan Fei had complicated feelings and couldn't help worrying more about Li Ling.

With all this knowledge at how Lan Fei views Li Hua and Li Ling, it made Li Hua be careful when dealing with her grandmother. Since Lan Fei was glad that she returned to the Li family, Li Hua had no plans to make her grandmother sad. While Li Hua had those thoughts, she knew that the only way to deepen her bond with her family, she had to show them Li Ling's true face.

While Li Hua was having all these thoughts, she arrived at school. Getting out of the car, she decided not to stress over this issue and enjoy her day, especially since it was her first day being the member in the drama club. School went very smoothly and it was over and Li Hua was packing up her books to go to the club. Walking over to the drama building, Li Hua looked up and stilled found it impressive.

Going to the auditorium, just as she was going to open the door she heard a scream behind her. "What are you doing here!" A girl screamed in a loud voice. Looking over her shoulder, Li Hua was surprised to see Lin Jiao and Li Ling giving her weird looks. Li Hua already knew that Li Ling was part of the entertainment world in her past life, to the point where she was a well-known star. What she didn't know was that Lin Jiao was also interested in the same career field.

After the incident at Lin Jiao party, Li Hua hasn't had much contact with the other party. Also, she knew that Li Ling hung out and talked with her in secret so she wouldn't face Li Jun's wrath. Since the incident, Li Hua heard from Qi DaiYu that many were keeping away from Lin Jiao. Of course, she wasn't surprising seeing as many of the guests were students of Chengdu, and in the high society, rumors spread like wildfire.

Smiling, "Lingling, it's so nice to see you but, I didn't know you were still hanging out with Lin Jiao." She said glancing at Lin Jiao. Hearing her words, Li Ling felt a little panic, mostly because she was worried Li Hua would tell Li Jun. While Li Jun doesn't get upset a lot when he does it can be very scary, and the one thing that would make him truly mad is when others didn't give him face. If he learned that she disobeyed him it would be like she didn't respect him at all.

Stepping a little away from Lin Jiao, Li Ling gave a shaky smile, "What are you talking about, elder sister Hua. I just happen to meet Lin Jiao on our way over to the club." She explained hoping that Li Hua would believe her.

Seeing the panic in Li Ling's eyes, Li Hua decided not to ask more question and let this matter go for now. Besides, if Li Ling continued to hang out and be friends with Lin Jiao it would be a better weapon for her to use in the future. "I see. I'm glad that was the case at first I thought you were going against father's words." Li Hua said smiling at Li Ling.

"I would never disobey father, elder sister you have to believe me when I say this." She said in a higher voice and which Li Hua gave her an understanding nod. Seeing that Li Hua believed her Li Ling started to calm down, that was when she remembers the original question that Lin Jiao asked.

"Elder sister Hua, I'm curious about the reason you're here today?" Li Ling asked.

Showing a brighter smile, "I'm glad you asked, I wasn't able to share this news last night but I joined Chengdu's drama club." Li Hua explained. "What!!!" Li Ling and Lin Jiao yelled in unions. Li Ling had a hard time trying not to let her emotion show on her face as she was so upset by Li Hua's words. There were so many clubs in Chengdu but Li Hua to joined the club she was in and share yet another part of her life.

Lin Jiao was equally upset at Li Hua's words, ever since her party, her life has been horrible. At home, her family was greatly shamed by Lin Jiao and had a hard time showing their face because of the rumors. At school wasn't better for her either because everyone was keeping their distance except for Li Ling. Lin Jiao felt even more touch to have a friend like Li Ling because she still kept being nice to her even when her family didn't wish for her to have any contact.

Even if her home and school life were tough at the moment, Lin Jiao was still feeling fine because she was able to go to the drama club without worry. Negative rumors might surround her but if she worked hard in her club, made connections, then she could still find happiness in her career. Now seeing that Li Hua was a member wasn't this fate playing a joke on her.
