Liu Jianghong, who was left standing alone by the balcony, stared in the direction which the woman had left with a stupefied expression.

The warm and gentle image that he had delicately crafted and maintained to match the original owner's had long collapsed under the shock.

His system merely harrumphed disdainfully at its host.

After a couple of minutes, the blaring noise in his head finally began to quieten down.

Taking a deep breath to calm down, he asked, "So who was the woman?"

"Who knows?" the system said airily, "Since you're too stupid to work it out, I guess you'll have to ask her yourself."

Liu Jianhong felt his blood boiling from anger.

Immediately after entering the large ballroom again, Liu Jianhong quickly replaced his dark face with his usual kind expression.

After a couple of days of impatiently waiting, Liu Jianhong finally got a response from that hateful woman, Xia Zhilan.

"So, who are you?" He asked, his eyes flashing with vigilance as he stared at the woman sitting opposite him who was wearing a pair of sunglasses that hid most of her face.

'How pretentious' he snorted, 'She's not even that famous yet.'

They were currently sitting together in the corner of a fancy café, hidden away from the other customers.

Xia Zhilan glanced at him before taking a sip out of her cup leisurely.

"No need to be so defensive," she said whilst stirring her cup of coffee, "Like I said the other day, I'm also a task-taker."

"But how did you know that I'm a task-taker as well?"

"Uhh I can just tell, I guess." Xia Zhilan said casually whilst shrugging her shoulders.

Seeing as she was not planning on giving any more information, Liu Jianhong chose to accept this answer.

His blank face slowly lit up slightly as he processed this information.

As a mid-level host, Liu Jianhong had travelled through many worlds and meeting another host for the first time was naturally very exciting to him.

"Since you took over the female lead's body, what's your mission?" he asked, "And what are you doing in Country A anyways? Shouldn't you be in Country C?"

"Well, my main mission is just to get the fuċk away from the male lead, Fu Sihan, and to become an internationally famous actress. Coincidentally, my side-mission was to seduce you as well."

"Actually that was only a side mission for me too." Liu Jianhong explained, "My main mission is to take over this body's family business, ZONXIA, and make it successful."

"Hey, why is your mission so easy?" Xia Zhilan asked unhappily.

"Easy? Your mission is literally to hide from some guy!" he retorted.

"He's not just 'some guy'. He's the male lead!" Xia Zhilan argued, "And you should know how fuċkɨnġ psychotic they are."

"At least you don't need to take over an entire company. Do you know how hard this shit is?!"

"Uh, at least you don't need to create a whole company from scratch all by yourself!" she said whilst slamming her cup of coffee onto the table.

"And didn't you inherit that company from daddy dearest?" Xia Zhilan said mockingly.

"Wait...Why the hell did you make your own company?" Liu Jianhong suddenly asked.

"That guy, Fu Sihan, followed me all the way to Country A and made his own entertainment company over here in order to suppress me," she said, rolling her eyes at the thought of that man.

"Oh, you're right... He is crazy..."

"I know right!"

Xia Zhilan immediately began gossiping about the original protagonists, "That's literally the reason why the original female lead requested our help. Even though she was the Film Empress, that psychopath of male lead basically locked her up in their home and hid her away from the public. Nobody back in Country A even knows about her anymore.."

"Oh... My guy's reason is so pathetic compared to yours... He simply just didn't want to take over the family business but his dad was forcing him so he requested me to learn how to do it on his behalf. But it's fine, I needed to learn how to do this anyways."

"What's your company called anyways?"

"Orchid Entertainment." Xia Zhilan announced arrogantly, "Heh, you've probably already of it. We're practically dominating all the news channels."

Contrary to her expectations of awe and worship, the man opposite her burst into laughter.

"Hey, you don't believe me?"

"No, I do believe you," he said, "So aren't you... Aren't you going out with yourself??"

Liu Jianhong began laughing hysterically again, "Wow, that's so pathetic..."

After that night a couple of days ago, Liu Jianhong caught up with all the news about Xia Zhilan that he had missed before - including the scandal between her and the elusive president of Orchid Entertainment.

"At least news of my girlfriend dating another person isn't plastered everywhere."

"Well, it doesn't really matter since the person my girlfriend is dating is herself."

"It's called making use of all the resources available to me," she said defensively, "It's something all good businessmen do but of course you wouldn't understand. What's your shitty company called again? Sonxia? Fongxia?"
