Quick Transmigration: The Queen's Worlds

Chapter 51 - The Rise Of The Forgotten Film Empress (23)

"Since you're so smart, why don't you prove your abilities and help my company?" Liu Jianhong said tauntingly.

"Do you think I'm a dumbass like you?" Xia Zhilan snorted, "Orchid Entertainment is my proof."

"But, how do we know that Orchid Entertainment is your company? You can't just claim any random company and declare it as yours." he said, "Actually, you know that other company, ZhiHan Entertainment? Yeah, that's mine."

Xia Zhilan stared at the man opposite her with a dead-panned face.

Standing up slowly, she asked whilst cracking her knuckles, "Have you already forgotten what happened the other day?"

He quickly shut his mouth.

"How about this? I, Liu Jianhong, a Film Emperor, will sign into your company in exchange for you teaching me how to manage my company?"

Sitting back down and placing her hand under her chin, Xia Zhilan thought for a while.

"Hm..."

"You agree? I think it's pretty reasonable."

"We get 80% of all the profits you make. Deal?" she said with a malicious smile.

"80?! That's practically daylight robbery!"

"Heh... You think I'll let you unilaterally take advantage of me without anything in return? I am generously offering to help your dumbass with your business but all you're giving back is a title that you didn't even earn yourself?

"...How about 50%?" Liu Jianhong said with an unwilling expression.

"80% or nothing," she said with a smile.

"So all I'm going to be left with is 20%? I'm going to starve to death!" he said pitifully in hopes of persuading her.

"Do you take me for a fool? You, the heir of ZONXIA. will starve to death without the 80%?" Zhilan said whilst rolling her eyes.

"C'mon! Aren't we friends? Give me a little be of leeway here," he pleaded, "60%?"

"Where the hell did you get the idea that we were friends from?" she said with a deadpan face.

"Oh right!" Liu Jianhong suddenly wore an enlightened expression whilst nodding slightly, "You're my girlfriend! You really should treat me, your boyfriend, better."

Xia Zhilan: ... .

Standing up hastily, Liu Jianhong said, "Wait, don't leave! I'm sorry! You can have the 80%! No, I'll even give you 90%!"

"90%?!" Xia Zhian quickly turned around, wearing a bright and warm smile, "Okay, you said so yourself! No, take backs!"

Xia Zhian quickly sat back down and snapped her fingers.

Out from nowhere, Tang Yu, the vice-president of Orchid Entertainment, popped out, dressed in a serious black suit with an entourage of ȧssistants following behind him.

Liu Jianhong: ...!?

'Something feels wrong here..."

In a blink of an eye, a contract was placed in front of him and a pen was forced into his hands.

"Sign here please, Mr Film Emperor." One of the ȧssistants urged him with a sweet voice.

Slightly dazed, Liu Jianhong slowly scribbled his name onto the paper.

"Okay, you can all leave now." Xia Zhilan said to her people.

The group of people left as quickly as they came, carrying the signed contract with them.

"Uhh... What was all that about?"

"Lesson number one: make them sign the contract before they have the chance to think things through and make reasonable decisions!"

"!!"

"Anyways, take me to your office." Xia Zhilan ordered, quickly changing the subject.

And just like that, Liu Jianhong drove her to his office like her personal chauffeur.

"Wait. Stop over there!" Xia Zhilan commanded suddenly.

"What? Why?" he asked as he quickly stopped by the side of the road, startled by the seriousness of her voice.

"I just remembered that I needed to buy hand cream," she said calmly whilst playing with her phone

"Handcream?"

"Yeah? Y'know, the stuff you put on for dry hands? Go buy it for me." she ordered him nonchalantly.

"Hey! Why are you treating me as your servant!? Don't you have an ȧssistant for things like this?" Liu Jianhong said unhappily.

"Uhh, didn't you read the fine print?" Xia Zhilan said with an eyebrow raised.

"Fine print? What fine print!?" He said in a slightly alarmed tone.

" Of the contract you signed?" Xia Zhilan said, annoyed, "Urgh, I knew you were an idiot."

"Xia Zhilan, what the fuċk did you make me sign?!" Liu Jianhong began seriously panicking as he quickly turned around to look at the woman sitting in the back seat.

"I sent a copy of the contract to your ȧssistant. Read it yourself," she said, rolling her eyes at him.

Immediately, Liu Jianhong whipped out his phone and began calling his ȧssistant frantically.

Before the call could even connect, the woman sitting behind him began laughing loudly.

"Oh my god, you really are a dumbass!" Xia Zhilan said whilst wiping the tears from the corner of her eyes, "You're lucky you asked me for help, otherwise you'd destroy your company in seconds."

"So you didn't make me sign any weird shit, right?"

"Yes, of course, I was joking," Xia Zhilan placed her fist on her ċhėst and began complimenting herself, "You're lucky that I'm such a morally upright person. I don't know how you managed to survive with such a low IQ. Actually, it's kinda insulting how you were also chosen as a host..."

Clenching the steering wheel tightly, Liu Jianhong glared angrily at Xia Zhilan, "Can you stop insulting me now."

Xia Zhilan laughed lightly, "Okay, go buy me my hand cream now."

Liu Jianhong stretched out his palm towards her, "the money?"

"Aren't you a rich second generation? Hmph! So stingy..." She muttered to herself as she pulled out her purse.

"You better buy the right brand!" Xia Zhilan shouted as Lui Jianhong left and closed the car door.
