The next day, Liu Jianhong picked Xia Zhilan up as planned and the two soon arrived at the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

Liu Jianhong was wearing a casual white t-shirt with jeans whilst Xia Zhilan wore a cute floral sundress. The pair would've looked like the perfect couple if it weren't for Jianhong's shady baseball cap and mask to hide his face.

The pair laughed happily whilst eating all sorts of food they had bought from the street vendors and playing the cute carnival games.

Xia Zhilan who was wearing bunny ears headband suddenly pulled off his baseball cap and put on a matching pair of headbands onto his head as soon as he turned around.

Before Liu Jianhong even had time to process, the girl had already pulled him closer and quickly took a selfie together.

"Aww, we look so cute!" Xia Zhilan said excitedly, her cheeks flushing pink as she stared at her phone.

Suddenly, the man leaned in closely.

Xia Zhilan quickly took a couple of steps back as her face flushed to an even brighter shade of red.

"W-what are you doing?!" Xia Zhilan shouted embarrassingly as she saw the man coming even closer.

Liu Jianhong chuckled lightly.

He stretched out his arm and patted the girl's head lightly.

"Zhilan, do you want to go on the Ferris wheel next? The line's pretty short right now" Liu Jianhong said, changing the subject, as he naturally grabbed her hand softly and led her towards it.

From the corner of his eye, he could see Xia Zhilan staring at him whilst blushing heavily.

Liu Jianhong smiled softly at the beautiful sight of a bashful young woman.

The view from the Ferris wheel was glorious.

The entire park was bathed in a beautiful orange glow from the bright red setting sun.

Xia Zhilan looked up at the man sitting across from her who held her hand gently.

As soon as they sat down in the Ferris wheel, he had removed the mask and the bunny headband.

Without the mask covering most of his face, Xia Zhilan could properly see Liu Jianhong's handsomeness.

As she carefully studied the man's face he suddenly turned and the two locked eyes.

The gentle atmosphere suddenly turned ambiguous as the pair stares into the eyes of each other without saying a word.

Liu Jianhong took the first move.

Xia Zhilan closed her eyes as she felt a pair of warm lips land into hers.

It was sweet.

The two continued walking around the theme park in a strange but comfortable silence whilst holding hands and enjoying the view.
