"There's actually a pretty popular tourist attraction a couple of streets down. Do you wanna check it out since we're here?" Jianhong asked after splitting the bill.

"Actually I have somewhere to be... I'm acting in another film. It's called «The End's Predator», have you heard of it? I got the role of the female lead, Long Cai" Zhilan said excitedly, her small face glowing with pride

Although Xia Zhilan is supposed to be the heroine of this entertainment world, Lu Jianhong is a task-taker and acting is definitely one of the most important skills that you must master. However, he was genuinely surprised by the heroine's flawless acting skills, which was definitely a couple of tiers above his own.

Just as Xia Zhilan was about to leave, Liu Jianhong suddenly called out to her "Wait, do you want me to drive you to your set?" he asked.

Xia Zhilan's ears perked up as she turned around "Okay, sure! Let's go!" she said with a shred of shame.

'Good thing he asked! I didn't want to wait in the sun for the taxi, to be honest...' she thought as she followed Jianhong to the car.

'Are you that lazy host? And couldn't you be a little bit more reserved about it?" System 005 asked in exasperation.

As Xia Zhilan plopped down onto the passenger seat next to Liu Jianhong, she suddenly asked "Where's you're manager and assistant, by the way? Did you just leave them at the set... or?"

"...Oh yeah! I forgot about them... Don't worry about them, they'll be fine." Liu Jianhong said with an awkward smile which caused Xia Zhilan to burst out in laughter.

"I didn't know I was fun enough for you to completely forget your team." Zhilan teased

'How the f.u.c.k did I forget those two? I blame her protagonist powers...' Liu Jianhong grumbled in his mind.

"I guess you don't know your charms then," he said flirtatiously, glancing at her for a second.

Zhilan giggled "Ah, so charming. As expected from the Film Emperor!"

"Same thing to you, Film Empress."

A little while later, the two arrived at the filming location.

As Zhilan was about to stand up to get out of his car, Liu Jianhong suddenly grabbed her wrist.

"Next time, don't easily get into random men's car."

"Random men? I thought we were friends, haha" Zhilan joked

"Apart from me, of course."

"You wanna quit your job as a famous actor and become my personal chauffeur? Wow, I'm so honoured!"

Xia Zhilan looked at his serious face.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I'm not stupid. The only reason I went into your car was that I trusted you." Zhilan said with a sincere smile.

'And because I'm very sure I can kick your weak a.s.s.'

"Or is there a reason why I shouldn't?" Xia Zhilan asked with a provocative but seductive smirk.

Before Liu Jianhong could even process what she said, Zhilan shook his hand off her and got off the car.

Liu Jianhong rolled his eyes.

'Personal chauffeur? You can't afford the services of the Great I.' he said to himself whilst pulling out some antibacterial wipes from the glove compartment.

At the same time, Xia Zhilan also pulled out some hand sanitizer from her purse and washed her hands, especially her wrists.

Unlike «Stars in the Window» which had a medium-sized budget, «The End's Predator» is an extremely large blockbuster movie with an incredibly huge budget. Although it hasn't even started filming yet, somehow some news of it leaked out and along with Director Sheng's name, it has already become one of the most highly anticipated movies of this year.

The director of «The End's Predator», Director Sheng, is an incredibly famous director who has several awards under his belt and is known to create nothing but masterpieces.
