Xia Zhilan quickly contained her laughter as she asked him in astonishment "Wait, oh my god! Did you think I was being real just now?"

Still seeing his confused expression, Xia Zhilan started laughing uncontrollably again "Oh my god, are you an idiot? You f.u.c.k.i.n.g dumbass! You actually thought I, Bai Yimei was being real before."

"Honey, you'll never see me grovelling under anyone's feet." Xia Zhilan said sassily with her hands on her h.i.p.s, as if mocking him.

Enraged, Yan Qinyu marched angrily towards her causing the ground to shake after each step. "You dare to insult me?" he hissed fiercely.

"Yes, yes I do dare. What are you going to do about it, almight Shadow King?" Xia Zhilan replied boldly whilst sniggering slightly.

Yan Qinyu suddenly appeared right in front of Zhilan with his hand reaching out at an absurd speed towards Xia Zhilan's neck.

However before he could do so, Zhilan's legged suddenly kicked out towards his c.h.e.s.t which forced Yan Qinyu to change direction of his arms to defend his c.h.e.s.t instead whilst jumping backwards suddenly.

Yan Qinyu snorted coldly "You're more skilled than I thought, Bai Yimei"

"Wow, really?! Oh em gee! I'm SO flattered! The humble me doesn't deserve such praise from the almighty Shadow King!" Xia Zhilan said in an annoyingly high-pitched voice.

"Shut the hell up!" Yan Qinyu roared angrily as he pulled out a sharp longsword out of nowhere and rushed towards Zhilan.

"I would if you stopped giving me that arrogant attitude" Xia Zhilan replied whilst pulling out her own blood red broadsword to defend from his sudden attack.

The Shadow King was finally too frustrated Xia Zhilan and gave up on talking to her and instead focused on trying to overpower her with his sword.

However Xia Zhilan sudden kicked her leg out again and managed to land a clean, strong hit on his stomach when he was concentrating on something else which caused him to fly backwards a couple meters.

Yan Qinyu flinched in pain as he determinedly stood up again and charged towards Zhilan with a dark expression.

Xia Zhilan suddenly felt a shiver down her spine as something grabbed her ankles - her own shadow was holding her legs down! So this was why he was called the Shadow King.

Looking up, she saw the sly smirk on his face as he quickly got closer whist holding his obsidian black sword.

Using her quick thinking skills, Xia Zhilan held her fist which was suddenly wrapped around with crackling lightning and smashed the ground.

The light from her 'Roaring Thunder Fist" dissipated the shadow that was holding her ankles however Yan Qinyu was already too close and slashed her shoulder.

Xia Zhilan felt her shoulder go numb with pain but she tried to ignore it as she used 'Tidal Push' to throw him backwards.

Feeling angry, Xia Zhilan summoned her ice wings and flew at a terrifying speed towards Yan Qinyu holding her blood red sword which was covered in lightning with flecks of ice flying out like spears.

Sensing danger, he attempted to block the attack however Xia Zhilan was pretty upset by the hit he landed on her shoulder and sent a barrage of attacks on his sword.

Eventually he could no longer hold up against Zhilan's wave of attacks which sent a piercing pain through his entire body because of the lightning passing through his sword and the tiny ice spears constantly digging into his skin.

His grip on the black sword weakened from the pain and flew out from Zhilan's last attack as his eyes widened in terror.

Panting slightly, Xia Zilan finally stabbed her massive sword through Yan Qinyu, the Shadow King's heart.

He was a bit stronger than Zhilan had expected and he even managed to land quite a serious hit on her right shoulder.

Wincing slightly, Xia Zhilan used another skill 'Holy Light' on herself which caused the wound on her shoulder to close slowly and gently by itself.

Just as Zhilan left, a group of around 50 elite soldiers burst into the room with Xiao Fan as the lead.

However when they looked around, nobody was there apart from the corpse of their leader...
