Quick Transmigration: The Queen's Worlds

Chapter 25 - The Ex-Assassin Is A Cultivator! (12)

Now that the main boss is dead, all there is left to do eliminate the Female Lead, Liu Chunhua before the world naturally generates a new Male Lead which could potentially be stronger than Yan Qinyu.

Whilst Xia Zhilan was killing the Shadow King and the Female Lead's beloved, Liu Chunhua was busy

'face-slapping' anyone who even slightly wronged her or the old Liu Chunhua and their entire family 'just in case' they wanted revenge.

However she was still impatiently waiting for Yan Qinyu to come gift her the mysterious woman's treasure.

"Where is he?!" Chunhua muttered impatiently whilst stopping around the room

"I've already planned out everything but I can't do it without him..." she said whilst getting increasingly more agitated

Taking a deep sigh to calm herself down she comforted herself "He's never dissappointed me before and maybe he'll be back tomorrow... With another treasure!"

Whilst thinking happily about the future her mind couldn't help wandering back to her plan in two days.

Getting revenge on the crown prince.

Like in all transmigration novels, the original Liu Chunhua, who was once the daughter of a thriving and affluent noble family, was engaged at an early age to the crown prince, Zhu Ming. However in the recent years the prestigous Liu family started to slowly decline whilst the Zhao family's influence started to increase which caused them to decline at an even faster speed.

However the main reason for the Zhao family's sudden flourishment was due to their youngest daughter, Zhao Yingye.

At only age 15 she was declared to be a one in a million medical genius. At age 16, the renowned but mysterious medicine master took Yingye as his only disciple and took her back to his Flowing River Sect, known for their extraordinary medical and pill refining skills. Finally at age 18 Zhao Yingye was a prominent and important member of the Flowing River Sect and announced her return to the Eastern Snow Empire.

The current emperor however, took a liking to the Zhao family and learning of her return, cancelled the engagement between Liu Chunhua and Zhu Ming and instead arranged an engagement between Zhu Ming and Zhao Yingye instead.

Unlike other stories, the original Liu Chunhua had no strong romantic feelings for Zhu Ming apart from her favourable impression of him as they had basically grew up together and he had sincerly apologized for this to her and to her family multiple times. In addition, she had grown up in this old-fashioned cultivation world and understood that with the decline of the Liu family and the rise of the Zhao family the emperor would bound to favour the more sucessful family more. Liu Chunhua knew that the cancelling of the engagement was practically inevietable.

Despite the original repeatedly insisting that there was no need to get revenge on Zhu Ming or Zhao's youngest daughter, Liu Chunhua took the cancelment of their engagement as a personal insult perhaps due to the fresh wounds from her ex-lover's betrayal.

Or maybe because she felt like she was the main character of this world and assumed that the entire world was out to get her to the point where she solemnly belived that Zhu Ming, the emperor and the entire Zhao family had perfectly calculated and schemed the Liu family's decline and the cancellation of her engagement to purposely humilate her.

However this was all in Liu Chunhua's delusional mind and in fact all parties involved were doing this for a purely political reason.

For the Zhao family, getting closer to the imperial family would obviously be a good choice and for Zhao Yingye becoming the crown princess would increase her social status and the influence of her Flowing River Sect by a large margin.

Whilst Zhu Ming, the crown prince needs to have the best candidate for the future emperess and currently Zhao Yingye would be the best option, with her large backing, her importance in a large sect and her positive image in the eyes of the public.

For several months, Liu Chunhua had been secretly collaborating with the 8th prince, known for his cunning and sly behaviour.

However the 8th prince, Zhu Wei believed that this would be a fair agreement, she's help him ascend the throne whilst he'd give her anything she wants that's in his power.

But the greedy Liu Chunhua had different thoughts - she was planning to use him as a figure head and control the entirety of the Eastern Snow Empire from the behind.

She believed that she could easily subdue him with her various treasures and with the feared Shadow King standing beside her who could hurt her?
