PS I'm Over You

Chapter 89 - How to Date a Fujoshi Girl

Rion didn't know where in the world he could find that woman. When he arrived at her front door, it was already locked. He could only guess that she already left for her flight abroad. Was he too late to seek for her?

He cursed at himself and punched his steering wheel in frustration. Where was she?

He covered his face with both of his hands and sighed. He needed to calm down. Of course, she was already on her way to the airport. A moment passed before he was able to put himself together and start the engine of his car, making his way to the airport.

His eyes were on the road as he thought about how he ended up like this because of Sara. Was he really into her? These feelings he had never encountered before confused him. How was she able to affect him like this?

When did it start anyway? Was it when he first met her on their shared flight? Or was it the day they busted her cheating boyfriend?

Her tears disturbed him. The way her bright round eyes glimmer with tears was such a painful scene to see. Rion knew he cared about her, but to what extent, he had no idea. Knowing that she's leaving him for good made his heart clench.

Arriving at the airport premise, Rion parked his car and quickly ran to the departure area and looked around. She wasn't at the entrance area. Where could she be?

Rion passed the security personnel in the front and ran towards the escalator. With so many people going out and arriving at the airport, how the hell would he be able to find Sara within the big premise?

He felt like a pup running in circles trying to find its master. Was he too late? He should have asked Ririna what time her flight was at.

He took several turns and asked people about the fight scheduled in the afternoon. It seemed that fate wasn't on his side today. He couldn't find her anywhere. Rion sat at the waiting area and looked defeated. His fists were clenched so tight in rage and disappointment at himself.

What would happen to him now? He already missed his chance to talk to her. He thought fleetingly of Sara and his heart clenched briefly as her image showed up in his mind. She should stay. He cannot allow her to continue plaguing his mind.

Rion stood and straightened up before releasing a harsh breath. He had perfectly ruined his chance with her.

'Great job, Rion,' he mocked himself.

He closed his eyes and willed his thoughts about her away. It was his fault but then he wouldn't be a fool and let her go that easily. If he had to seek Ririna's help to find Sara, he wouldn't mind following her abroad.

For him to be bothered about fujoshi woman, Rion couldn't believe that he finally found someone worth pursuing.

He was about to leave and call Ririna when he saw a familiar woman walking towards the departure area. Sara looked pale and thin as he scrutinized her form. Was she also in distress because of what he said earlier?

Sara was wearing a black turtleneck with a dark grey jacket shirt and blue denim pants. Her hair was put up in a high ponytail making it sway with every turn she made. Her light makeup accentuated her bright eyes and lips. She looked so beautiful today.

Rion's eyes narrowed. With his deep baritone voice, he called out her name. The woman stood frozen in her place before turning her head to see him looking back at her.

"Sara, you're late."

----

Sara knew she wasn't supposed to think about him and what could they be if she stayed. She should be focusing on going back to school and calling her friend to cancel the photo shoots she had agreed last week. With her sudden departure, she felt guilty for not informing her personally.

"Oh my goodness. I thought I'm was going to be late," she mumbled to herself.

After leaving their house, she quickly dropped by the bookstore she always visited to return some books she borrowed. That lead her to spend some time talking with the kind shop owner and then she realized that she only got an hour before her flight.

She was going to be late again. Oh, if Rion was here… No. She should stop thinking about him now. He already made a choice to cast her out from his life. What could he possibly say now if he was here?

Sara scoffed to herself. As if he cared about her but at the very least he didn't give her false hope and saved her from further heartache.

She's going back to her usual life. The usual routine, same old friends, same old life but why does she feel so empty now? It was starting to get annoying because, for the past weeks, she swore she could see him everywhere.

Thinking about him makes her heart cry in pain. She felt very stupid for thinking that he cared.

She looked around and hurriedly walked to see if she was late. A sigh of relief left her lips when she saw that her flight hasn't left yet. Taking her phone from her pocket, she typed a quick message to her sister then dragged her luggage with her.

"Sara, you're late." A voice that she would never forget called out to her making her stop on her tracks. She wasn't dreaming or hallucinating, right?

Slowly, she turned her head to the direction of the voice and it was undeniably Rion who called out her name.

Her grip on her luggage tightened. What was he doing here? Why?

"Mr. Stahl. Nice to see you. Are you waiting for someone?" she replied with a frown.

Now it seemed there was a tension between them that thickened. With his silence, Sara was tempted to run away from him and never dare to see him again. Hadn't he hurt her enough with his rejection earlier?

Rion stared at her face, missing the bright smile she always had whenever she talked to her friends on the phone or when she was playing with Skyler.

Why wouldn't she smile for him? Why was it that everytime they talk, she always averts her gaze and feel uncomfortable around him? And yet Ririna claimed Sara liked him?

Women are such strange and unpredictable creatures.

"I'm looking for you," Rion replied with a straight face.

"Why? Oh, did Miss Ririna ask you to send me off?"

"No. I came here to talk to you."

"We already talk earlier. Did you forget something? Oh, I can't stay for too long. I have to go. Bye". Sara turned and walked away. She wanted to leave now. Her feelings for him were threatening to resurface.

Rion caught up with her and grabbed her arm but she didn't turn to look at him. Her scent embraced him, reminding him of the time when she slept in his arms.

"Stay," his voice startled her.

"Let go of me, Mr. Stahl. I have no reason to stay,"

'Oh, so we're back to surname basis?' Rion thought.

Sara tried to pull away from him but failed.

"If I tell you I like you, will you stay?" Rion asked.

Sara turned to face him. Her cheeks were burning red and her eyes were wide with confusion. Did he just say those words with a deadpan face?

"W-what?" Sara stuttered in reply. What was he talking about? Didn't he just tell her earlier to be an a.d.u.l.t and move on?

"Stay. Don't leave."

Rion fixated his eyes on hers. He would not allow her to leave him this time. He never dated and pursued anyone before so how the hell would he date this fujoshi* girl? Was he even prepared to see and accept her weird fondness for BL?
