PS I'm Over You

Chapter 88 - The Wizard and the Enchantress

She was broken hearted.

Sara didn't even know how she was able to go home. The only thing that was on her mind was to hold herself together before riding a train, leaving Rion behind. Her eyes were stinging with unshed tears, her throat dry from the weather outside.

As soon as she opened the front door of her house, she sunk to her knees and cried. She cried with the tightness on her c.h.e.s.t. It was over. Just like that Rion had let her go.

How could he hurt her this much? Why was it so painful?

The pain was like her heart was being torn by pieces.

She couldn't stay for too long because if she did she was sure she might do stupid things. Her older sister and Evan were already married, just like Rion, she didn't have any reason to stay at this place.

Sara knew he didn't feel the same way for her but the thought of him like she didn't matter hurt her. She thought with their previous encounters he had grow fond of her.

She knew it was pointless, that he would never look at her. But did that mean he never really cared about her? Was it all a pity and kindness when he helped her about her ex-boyfriend? It was becoming painfully clear to her that she was the only one who cares.

Fresh tears spilled down on her face. He wanted her to be a.d.u.l.t about it? He had taken her love and body and he wanted nothing of it? She remembered his face. The same emotionless prick who told her to move on and become a.d.u.l.t. He remained impassive, cold and emotionless as he told her not to bother anymore about what happened between them.

Why was no one taking her seriously?

Was it really easy for everyone to hurt her?

It was also her fault then because she believed he was different. She let herself to be too close to that man. If she had just left him alone and didn't bother to talk to him, she wouldn't be hurt like this.

She lifted herself from the floor and strode towards her bedroom. Her flight was scheduled for this afternoon. She still had enough time to clean the house and prepare her luggage. But she was too emotional to think about it.

Sara buried her face on her pillow and clutched it tight against her c.h.e.s.t. There were nights that she thought about that day. How he kissed her softly, how he made her feel so special in his arms. Even in her drunken state, she welcomed him with open arms.

There was nothing she could do about her feelings anymore. She should have had stomped it down when it was starting.

An hour passed before she wiped away her tears and started cleaning her home and put her clothes back in her luggage. Her brown eyes looked around her, remembering those memories during her childhood days. This house meant a lot to her. She had good memories with this house including that fateful night that she made love with her ice prince.

The end of her lips curled into a smile. It was time to leave.

----

"What are you doing here?" Ririna's voice made Rion lift his head and notice her with little Skyler beside her.

"Good morning, Uncle Rion." Skyler said before pulling Rion's arm making him stand up from the couch. Skyler then sat on her mother's seat and started doodling on a blank sheet of paper on her desk. Rion hoped Sara didn't misplace another doc.u.ment that could fall into Skyler's hands.

"You're late." He said with a deep baritone voice.

"I told you we got married yesterday. You thought Eli will release me that easily?"

He scoffed in response. While he was happy for the two of them, he wasn't really in a good mood at the moment.

Rion failed to notice their arrival which made Ririna wonder what's wrong with him.

Rion pulled out an envelope from his coat and handed it to Ririna. Her brow furrowed in confusion before reading its contents. Her eyes then quickly sharpened to him.

"What the f*ck did you say to her to make her leave?" Her tone full of accusation.

"I did nothing," he insisted.

Ririna looked at him like grew another head on his shoulder.

"Yes, that's it. You did nothing so she left you behind,"

"What does it have to do with me?" Rion g.r.o.a.n.e.d.

"Really, Rion? You're asking me that stupid question? It is obvious that you two like each other. I don't get why you keep beating around the bush? This isn't like you."

His words caught on his throat. Sara liked him too?

"She likes me?" his face filled with uncertainty.

"Rion!" Ririna exclaimed making her son wonder if they're arguing again. "I didn't know you could be dumb and stupid like this. Who was the one who advised me back then to not speculate and talk it put with Eli?" Ririna glared at him.

Rion took a deep breath before burying his hands on his coat and turned around to leave their office.

"Where are you going?" Ririna asked. Rion rolled his eyes and turned around to face her again.

"Going to talk with that woman again," he answered back, his hand waving a goodbye to Skyler.

"Well, you better go now or you might never see her again."

Ririna crossed her arms on her c.h.e.s.t, her chin tilted up waiting for Rion to understand what she meant.

"What?"

"Ginny booked a flight last night and here I thought it was for her. Didn't know Sara requested for it to her sister."

Rion's expression changed instantly. He immediately left to find Sara. She shouldn't leave without him explaining what transpired between the two of them. Was he really that dense not to notice that she liked him too?

He cursed himself for his stupidity.

Ririna watched as Rion leaving to seek his woman. She shook her head and sighed. It was time for Rion to learn and experience love. If it wasn't for him, she would've never had the courage to confront Eli. This time she wouldn't let Sara get away from Rion. The Wizard would have his Enchantress.
