PS I'm Over You

Although she knew something big would happen today, she wasn't sure if it was going to be a good or a bad thing. Sara arrived at their office very early. She was wondering if she could talk to Ririna about her employment. After she met Angela and Julie last night, she realized how she wasted her time on other things and hadn't improved herself.

Her mother wanted her to go back to school and finish the last semester so she could graduate from University. Her hobbies and her frequent participation in her fandom and teaching new artist had taken up most of her time and she had failed to continue her studies.

Improve yourself. That was what Angela and Julie told her last night. Rion might never notice her but to make something for yourself, to attain an achievement you work hard would be a worthy enough to boost your ego and confidence.

She had to go. She needed to leave before Rion left her broken. Her mother had also called last night convincing her to go home.

The elevator opened and revealed Rion arriving for work. He arrived early in the morning just to try to clear up the things between him and Sara. He took a glance at Sara who didn't even bother to greet him. She was busy sorting out everything before resigning from her position as secretary.

"Can we talk?" Rion's stern voice made Sara stop. She looked up and nodded at him.

'I will try my best to forget you.' Sara inwardly thought. This might be the last time she would ever see him again.

Rion opened the door to their new office and let Sara slip in first. Her scent tickled his nose. The scent he could identify as hers. Her warmth brushed against his skin.

Sara adjusted her pink dress before she sat on the couch near Ririna's desk and waited for Rion to take a seat across her. She fidgeted, ignoring the fluttering on her stomach. She looked up at him and met his eyes with wonder and then stared down at her l.a.p. She was afraid he would notice her feelings.

"Let's clear this out. We can't stay like this forever." Rion said.

Sara's heart clenched. So this was where it would end? To say goodbye? To release him and free herself? Would she ever see him again?

Rion sat and leaned forward and propped his elbows on his knees, his gaze settled on her pretty face.

"Tell me. Are you pregnant?"

His question made her jerk up with her eyes wide in shock.

"Are you?" he repeated, his face blank with any emotions.

Sara opened her mouth to ask why he was asking but then realized it wouldn't matter.

"No. I got my period the next week it happened." She replied.

Rion furrowed his brows before leaning back in his seat.

"I see."

Sara's heart squeezed painfully within her c.h.e.s.t, her stomach dropped like a rock on the ground. Was he worried about making her pregnant? Did he even think what she felt after they did the deed? That was all his concern was about?

She stared at him with love and longing but it was painful to know that he didn't feel the same. She was about to tell him goodbye and forced herself to stay cool and emotionless but it was hard.

"What happened between us was a mistake," Rion said while he watched her closely.

Sara swallowed and nodded. She knew it was indeed a mistake between the two of them. Truthfully, it was her mistake to force him to celebrate her birthday with him. But to hear those words from his lips broke her heart. She felt like crying anytime now.

"I know." She said quietly, her voice slightly trembling. What more could she say about it? She wasn't pregnant with his child. There was nothing to worry about him forcing to stay by her side.

"I expect you to be a.d.u.l.t about it. We were drunk and not in ourselves when we did that. I apologize for taking your first because of it." His cold baritone voice made Sara shiver.

She remained silent and lowered her head, not wanting him to see her face. What was she supposed to say? That it was alright because she had already fallen for him?

"I understand. No hard feelings then. It doesn't matter since I'm also filing my resignation today."

Rion was taken aback but his face remained indifferent. He didn't expect that she would leave so soon. Sara took her resignation from her bag and gently dropped it on the coffee table in front of them.

"It was nice meeting you, Rion Stahl. I wish you every happiness,"

She got up from her seat, not waiting for his response and then swiftly walked to the door and opened it.

"Sara…"

Without turning to face the man she fell in love with, she spoke, her voice almost monotonous.

"Don't worry I'll also give Miss Ririna a call. Take care of yourselves."

She stepped outside and gently closed the door behind her.

Rion stayed seated on the couch, eyes still on the door. His fists clenched so hard he didn't even notice. Why did he feel so empty all of the sudden? Why did it seem that everything was worthless now? Didn't he think that by making Sara free from guilt would make their situation better?

But no. She had chosen to leave as if nothing happened between them. He couldn't even understand why he felt so disappointed when she told him she wasn't pregnant.

He rested his head back and stared at the door with his arms crossed on his c.h.e.s.t as if waiting for her to come back. He never thought that Sara would affect him this way. No woman has ever caused him to have conflicting thoughts. He always believed that there was a logical explanation for everything.

An emotion surfaced itself making him hate himself more. He forced himself to believe that it was nothing but now he has to acknowledge that feeling.

He had fallen in love with Sara Yun.

Early rays of sunlight washed into the master's bedroom. Two occupants lying on the king sized bed with a woman on her side, her head on the well-muscled c.h.e.s.t of her husband. Her n.a.k.e.d body pressed against his.

Her husband stirred on the bed, his eyes opening to reveal his cold grey eyes. His head turned to his side to gaze at the sleeping woman beside him. A small smile crossed his lips. He wasn't dreaming. They really got married yesterday and she was finally his wife.

He found it amusing that Ririna hadn't come to her senses and left him just like everyone did. His arm curled around her shoulder and his fingers were rubbing her exposed skin.

Ririna hummed softly in his embrace, a smile slipping on her beautiful face as she slightly adjusted to move closer to his body. Eli kissed the top of her head, inhaling her scent. His wife g.r.o.a.n.e.d quietly as her eyes fluttered open and looked around her. When her gaze landed on her husband, she gave him a quick smile.

"Morning," she said before settling back on his c.h.e.s.t, her eyes looking up to her husband.

"Good morning," Eli replied, his arm adjusted around her body so he could give her a quick kiss. He brushed his lips softly against hers making her m.o.a.n in his touch.

"Did you sleep well?" he shamelessly asked.

"Yeah. I got a very good workout last night." Ririna grinned.

Her husband chuckled and she felt his hand slide over her waist and h.i.p.s and roam up to her c.h.e.s.t. He needed her again and that she was certain.

"Let's do some more workout then before Sky wakes up," Eli murmured to her ear.

Ririna giggled and saw her husband roll over to her, kissing and nipping at her neck again. His hands touching and stroking her skin underneath the sheets just like what he did last night.

"Don't you have to work today?" she asked.

"My boss won't mind my absence. I will tell him my wife needed me. He can't fire me." He whispered against her skin, his lips trailing down to her c.h.e.s.t.

Ririna's breath hitched on his touch. She smacked Eli's shoulder and tried to push him away but failed.

"You own the company. Why would you fire yourself?" she teased but her arms moved to his shoulders while he settled once more between her t.h.i.g.hs.

"Work can wait. I need you as my breakfast," he teased back, his body towering over hers. His lips met hers in another passionate kiss, her hands moving from his neck up to his head, running her fingers through his messy hair.
