PS I'm Over You

'Shit. why is he still alive? He should be dead by now.' Kian thought.

He had planned to kill the devil and his spawn without Ririna's knowledge. With the intention to make the witch submit herself to him and withdraw her rights to the title of Hattori, he sneaked on her security and surveillance team to corner her.

But alas, all his efforts went down the drain, as the devil survived from his claws and the witch has managed to blind his left eye. That bitch got the nerve to fight him to death.

Eli pulled out his gun from his back. His body covering Ririna's as they both fell on the floor while he shot Kian who intently shattered the glass door on the balcony of the room to escape.

His left hand covering his newly blind eye. He took his spare gun from his coat and aim to hit Eli but he missed his aim thrice due to his injured eye.

The devil moved his body with Ririna in his arms to move further away from Kian's position. He cursed inwardly when he realized he didn't have enough ammo to reload his gun when he released the magazine and saw that he had none left.

This bastard Kian had sent someone to ambush and assassinate him away from Ririna's prying eyes. He was worried but at least he had predicted that Kian would make a move soon to eliminate Ririna for good.

In his worry that something has happened to his wife and child, he immediately left the place where he was ambushed to check on his family. It was a good thing that he called one of Skyler's bodyguards to take the child away from Ririna's office building and nearby area.

When he arrived, some of Kian's men had already infiltrated the building. What the f*ck is Erica's problem with her loose security team? If she wasn't Ririna's friend, he could've found someone else to do the job better. She let his little brother harm his Ririna..

"Ririna hide on the other side of the desk" Eli whispered to his wife. He lifted up his hand and saw blood on it. His eyes sharpened and his gaze moved to Ririna's back and saw her pristine dress was already tainted with blood. Her previous injuries have opened and are bleeding.

With dizzy eyesight, Ririna g.r.o.a.n.e.d before forcing herself to sit on the floor near Rion's chair. When she saw Eli arrive unarmed, she quickly lowered her body to the ground and picked up her gun on the corner. Moving stealthy, she gave a knowing look to Eli before throwing the gun in his direction.

When Kian saw how Ririna threw the gun towards Eli, he inwardly cursed and quickly rolled on his right side. The pieces of shattered glass on the balcony pierced his skin under his suit and he g.r.o.a.n.e.d.

Eli caught the gun and shot Kian twice on his c.h.e.s.t as he lifted himself from the ground. Kian hissed in pain. The impact of the bullets was still painful when it hit the bulletproof plates under his clothes. He then jumped off from the balcony and found the nearest fire exit on the lower floor to escape.

Turning his head to his wife giving her a quick nod, Eli followed Kian towards the fire exit and pushed the button on his wireless earpiece to connect with his men. Jerry quickly picked up the call on its first ring.

"Rank A. Go and send a team to secure Skyler and Jiro. Kian Huang has started to hunt Ririna again." Eli commanded, "See to it that the children are not harmed. Evacuate them as soon as possible. I will meet you on the ground floor.

The moment he cut the line, Ririna's call connected on his line.

"Where are you?"

"Following the rat. Are you okay?"

"Yes, give me a moment and I will help you eliminate them."

Both the devil and the witch knows that Kian isn't alone on this manhunt. He probably bypassed Ririna's security because of his sister. Eli wondered then if Erica is aware of what has her brother done to her best friend and godchild.

"You don't have enough ammo," Ririna reminded him.

"I know. I only have four shots left. Someone will meet me along the way. Our utmost priority is to keep Sky safe." he replied, going down the stairs while looking around him cautiously to make sure he wouldn't fall in a trap.

"What floor are you in?" Ririna asked.

Looking at the floor number indicated on the wall as he steps down from the stairs, he answered her, "Seventh,"

"Go to my workroom. There should be enough ammo and spare guns in my drawers. Can you also please clear the area? I will follow you down there."

"Okay."

Eli cut the line and was almost hit when a man came after him when he opened the door to the seventh floor. Just like what he expected this level has already been invaded, he wondered though if Kian has enough man to beat his team.

While he is raiding this floor, he knew that his team has started to do their job on the ground floor. No one shall leave alive and escape, not when they tried to kill his whole family.

He blocked the attacked of the man, as he swerved to his right and coiled his arm on the man's neck. With precise movement, he broke the neck of the man and dropped him on the floor.

Eli took the m16 rifle from the dead man before he gave a good look at the hallway of the seventh floor. It seems like all the CCTV cameras they had installed the previous week are still working properly.

He is pretty sure that the main surveillance room hasn't been taken yet by Kian's men as the security of the room requires the eye scanner and the fingerprint scanner to which only he, Ririna and Erica has the access.

Meanwhile…

Aya was talking to Erica, giggling as she told her what had happened when she visited Evan and Ginny last weekend. Erica gave a small smile to her friend, with Ririna resuming work, her job has become more strict and harder than before.

Eli has made some precautionary plan for the whole building and had told to her to never leave Ririna alone and out of her sight except when there's enough security or until he arrives to pick up his wife.

Ririna has requested her to check on Skyler and to make sure that the ground floor was clear as she expected Eli to come within an hour. After checking that everything is in place and they have enough security personnel on the ground floor and outside Ririna's office, Erica drove to the other parking lot which is at least 300 meters away from their office building.

She wondered why did they make Skyler wait far away when they could drive as usually on the office building's parking lot and wait there instead. Is Eli taking extra precautionary methods to keep Skyler safer?

Their conversation was cut off when they heard Skyler's bodyguard receive a call which made his body stiff. Erica then knew something came up and Ririna could be in danger.

When Ririna was almost killed a month ago, Erica was in despair and in guilt. If only she didn't accept Kian's invitation for dinner that day, Ririna wouldn't be involved in an accident. It was really not an accident as they knew someone is after her. But she has failed to protect her friend or even sent some bodyguard to make sure that Ririna is safe.

Her stress and self-blame started to affect her daily life, she even sought Ginny's help for counseling.

"Roger that. I will take the young master as soon as possible." Skyler's bodyguard said to the other line before hanging up.

"What happened?" Erica asked curiously. If Ririna is in danger then she should leave immediately.

The bodyguard looked at her incredulously turning to the female bodyguard with him before saying, "Miss Ririna has been attacked by Kian Huang in her office. We are ordered to take Young Master Skyler and Jiro to S&S Enterprise to keep him safe until Master Eli and Miss Ririna eliminate the other team."

"Okay, got it," the female bodyguard replied before slipping into the driver seat and started the engine.

"What did you say?!" Erica exclaimed, she pulled Skyler's bodyguard's arm who was about to slip inside the car.

"You heard what I said. Aren't you supposed to go back there immediately and check with your own boss? See it for yourself." Skyler's bodyguard answered shaking his head in disappointment.

This woman is losing her grounds. Her father has mysteriously disappeared a month ago and his master suspects that it was that psycho Kian who is behind the disappearance. Erica Huang needs to update herself on what's really going on in the underworld.

It's already known that her younger brother who is insanely in love with his master's woman is a candidate for the next Hattori. Facing reality is accepting that it isn't the way you want it to be, and that's Erica Huang's dilemma. Save her brother or protect her friend?

The car in which Skyler, Jiro, and Aya were in left immediately, leaving Erica in a daze. Several moments have passed before she broke from her trance and went back to her car then drove back to Ririna's office building.

The scene when she went back was horrifying. Several uniformed security that they hired lay dead on the ground. Erica panicked and ran to the stairway instead of using the elevator. She isn't sure what's really happening but she has to make sure first that Ririna is unharmed and the control room isn't invaded.

When she opened Ririna's office, she saw broken furnitures, files scattered on the floor. There are also visible gunshots within the room. On the side of Rion's desk, there's a pool of blood. Another one is on the balcony.

"Ririna?" Erica called out but no one answered back.

Seeing that she couldn't see Ririna anywhere, she decided to run swiftly towards the control room. Erica hopes that nothing wrong happened to Ririna because if it did, she could never forgive herself. If Kian was really the one behind this attack, then she will have no choice but to side with Ririna.

With her father's disappearance, no one can control Kian's action anymore. She knew that Kian's hatred towards Eli and about his obsession with Ririna but she never thought Kian would dare to hurt the woman he claimed he loves the most.

What has happened to her younger brother these past years?
