PS I'm Over You

Chapter 76 - The Witch Knows Bitchcraft

Kian slammed his fist on Ririna's table as his eyes looked like he's about to make a kill. Ririna backed away as she pulled out her gun from its holster while Kian lunged at her trying to grab her throat. In a split second, Ririna reacted on impulse and pulled the trigger of her gun and shot Kian's shoulder.

He howled in pain and tried to add pressure to his wound. Ririna, in spite of her long absence from the assassination missions, could still find his weaknesses up close. She intended to kill him but as the close range isn't her forte, she had missed the vital point to where she could give him an instant death. Fighting him in hand to hand combat would be useless and dangerous in her part.

Eli had trained her for years. Before she became his lover, she was his mercenary. She could kill for him if she wanted to. Now, as Kian showed himself to her, she didn't feel any remorse to kill the bastard who dared to harm her child. Wrong move. Targeting her child would immediately seal the deal of death from both the witch and her devil.

"Ririna!" Kian roared.

Even until now, he couldn't understand why would Ririna choose the devil and its spawn. Wasn't he worthy enough of her attention? He didn't want to kill her, not now that the current Hattori wanted her to join the successor's game. Hiro Liu was already one tough opponent but Ririna having the devil as her backup had changed the phase of the game.

He tried to corner her, but Ririna had successfully avoided all of his attempts to subdue her. Files scattered on the floors, some furniture and vases were broken as each of them started firing their pistols against each other. He successfully cornered her in another room.

Kian grabbed her and then hurled her to the wall. Ririna hit with force, making her lose her grip on her gun and it fell on the floor. The force would have made her cry but no sound came from her. She could endure it, she thought. Eli would be arriving soon and surely the devil would rip Kian's claws away from her.

Her body fell to the ground with a loud thud. She scrambled to her feet and moved away from him but failed. Kian had pulled her short hair and Ririna hissed in pain. She tried to resist from his tight grip from behind but failed. Looking at Rion's desk that still intact and organized well, she eyed the small container with his favorite set of pencils.

"You little bitch," Kian snarled, "You should have chosen me."

Ririna kicked the desk until Rion's stuff were scattered on the desk. She tried to once again make Kian lose the grip on her hair. Her wounds on her back started to sting again and she hoped that they wouldn't bleed or else Ginny might lose her sanity over her again.

"Oh no, you don't." Kian hissed. "If you aren't going to be mine, you're are better off dead." He added.

Ririna kicked the desk once more and some of the pencils flew in the air in her direction. She reached up one of her hands, successfully catching one of the pencils from Rion's collection. Ririna pushed him with her back and maneuvered to turn to her left and kick his shins with her high heels. He snarled and pulled her hair tighter.

When Ririna turned to face him, she used an open hand strike on his face making him lose focus on her. Her force was like a punch that forced him to lose her grip on her hair. Ririna saw another opening and used her knee against his groin.

Kian howled in pain and fell on his knees. His gun fell to the ground and Ririna kicked it away from him. This witch surely wouldn't back down without a fight. Before he could counter her, Ririna had already pushed him down with her hand on his injured shoulder. He looked up, horrified at what he had seen.

He had never seen Ririna so serious to kill someone; it was as if she was on a killing spree. Without further warning, Ririna stabbed Kian's left eye. His blood squirted from him covering her hand and staining her beautiful face with it.

Ririna was known as the witch for her ruthlessness. When she had to kill she didn't think twice. This was why Eli had taken her under his wing at her young age. She had seen enough misfortune to know that this world was imperfect and there was no piece of heaven on earth.

Ririna also knew 'Bitchcraft', the art of pissing off someone while smiling sweetly at her prey. Just like the smile, she's giving Kian at the moment.

"Ririna!" Kian screamed her name again. The pain in his eye was too strong, he thought he was going to faint from his injury. Ririna grinned back at him. She was deeply pleased with her masterpiece.

Kian covered his injured eye with his left hand and stood up with his wobbly legs. His good eye blazed with deep hatred.

Suddenly, the door flew open revealing the devil who was surprised to see his target injured by his woman. A great sense of pride and relief washed over him when he saw how Ririna defended herself and tried to kill the rat who hurt their child.

Eli strode towards Kian and pulled his collar before punching him on his jaw, sending him to the sliding glass door at the balcony of the office. No sound came from Kian as his eyes widened at the surprise attack he received from the devil. He looked around him and tried to find a way to escape from the duo's hands.

Eli looked at his wife who seated herself on a nearby chair, her body leaned forward on Rion's desk. He could only assume that her shot wounds have started bleeding again and some of her stitches might have ripped open. It had only been a few weeks, and she was not fully healed yet.

He clenched his fist tighter, ready to pulverized one of Ririna's competitor. Whoever tried to hurt his wife and son will suffer his wrath. Ririna just recovered from her last attack and he wasn't going to stand and watch someone hurt her again.
