PS I'm Over You

They pulled up in front of the five-star hotel, where the party would be held which was not surprising because the Han family was well known for being private about their personal lives and affairs. Most of their social functions were hosted outside their premises. Ginny sent a happy glance to Ririna and Skyler as their car came to a slow stop next to a long red carpet prepared by the hotel for the visitors.

The Han family may not be as famous as the Park and Song family but with their real estate business dominated the nation, their wealth was more prominent even against the presidential family. This was why since Ririna went back to the Han family five years ago, many bachelors had tried to hit on her. There were long ropes on either side of the carpet, preventing the reporters and photographers harassing anyone who was on a red carpet.

Ririna looked worriedly at Eli. Do they have to go out with Skyler and announce to the world that they have a kid together? Eli's canceled engagement to Karissa was a big talk months ago and it would hurt Eli's reputation if someone made a story about her being the third party.

"We'll take Sky with us. Don't worry about it." Evan said. It seemed both brothers were prepared for the event.

"Are you sure it's okay?" Ririna asked.

"I will behave, mommy. Uncle said Jiro and the twins are also attending. We're gonna play together." Skyler said excitedly. He couldn't wait to play with his friends.

Eli nodded to his younger brother before exited the vehicle first followed by Ririna. Flashing lights almost blinded her when they stepped out. People started whispering how the famous bachelor of town had started dating the young artist recently. The journalists started comparing Ririna and Karissa and how Ririna seemed naturally more ideal to the cold and ruthless businessman.

Ririna looked around, trying to spot someone who looked suspicious. This was the first time she went out in the public after the incident. If the other successors tried to do something tonight, she must be prepared. Eli and she walked into the hotel. She would have to check on Skyler soon but first, she had to talk to her grandfather and uncle.

"I'll go ahead and talk to gramps. Will you wait for me?" she asked Eli who started being mobbed by other businessmen.

"I'll be fine. Give me a call if you encounter problems," he replied.

She nodded at him before leaving him alone. Ririna talked to her uncle and greeted him with a very happy birthday. His uncle almost cried because Ririna made him miss his dear sister. It's been a long time since she died and there's a part of him that blames himself for not helping his elder sister when he was needed.

Ririna made her way to a vacant room next to the ballroom noticing that she was the only one who ventured into this part of the hotel where the beautiful garden can be seen outside.

"Miss Ririna Han?"

A voice of a man called her name out of nowhere. She almost pulled out her gun from its holster when she heard him. Turning to him, she saw that he is quite tall with a light strawberry blonde shade of hair. He had a pale skin, hazel eyes and a slightly sinister expression on his face. Who was he? She wondered.

Although the man was quite handsome, something about him sent warning signals to Ririna making her step backward to keep the distance away from him. Something about him wasn't quite right and she couldn't point out what was it. The man stepped closer to her making her eyes sharpen as he smiled. He looked almost pleased that he could make her uncomfortable.

"Yes?" she replied as she noticed that he was waiting for a reply.

"I'm Hiro Liu. I expect that your grandfather has already informed you about the marriage arrangement?" he asked.

"He did but unfortunately Mr. Liu, I cannot marry you," Ririna said straightforwardly.

This man was dangerous and she knew it. There was no way she would agree to marry someone like him. That sadistic smile he had , she knows it well.

"Why wouldn't you?"

"Because I'm not interested in you, Mr. Liu" she replied, "And I'm already engaged with someone else."

"With the devil, am I right?" Hiro Liu asked as he buried both of his hands in his side pockets. The darkness of the room and the light outside made his face creepier.

Ririna's eyes widened when she heard what he said. Who was this man? How did he found out about Eli being the devil of the underworld? Unless he was also part of it. Ririna looked at him with confusion in her eyes. She never heard about him before. She couldn't believe that Hiro Liu is also part of the underworld.

"Who are you?" she asked. If he was here, she was pretty sure he wasn't alone. Her heart beat faster and wondered if her son is safe.

"Hiro Liu," he smiled and then invaded her space, his hand lifted up to touch her chin. "Nice to meet you Miss Witch. I am the warlock."

"Take your filthy hands away from my wife." A familiar voice came from the door. Both Ririna and Hiro turned their heads to see Eli staring at the other man with his gray eyes gleaming with rage. He was just having some small talk with other people when he found his wife being cornered by another man.

"Oh, the possessive devil is here. Are you going to kill me just because I touched your witch?" Hiro mocked Eli, his eyes turned to Ririna's face as he ran his fingers on her smooth cheeks, deeply pleased that she didn't ruin his expectation about her.

Ririna grabbed his wrist and moved it away from her. Her eyes contemplating what she should do next to this man. She wondered why he sought her at this moment. Why was the Warlock after her just like Hattori?

"So feisty. I like you, Ririna Han. You will be mine." Hiro Liu grinned before striding to the nearest balcony and jumped down from it.

Eli and Ririna followed him on the balcony but looking down, they couldn't find any trace of him. How could a man jumped from the tenth floor high and survive the impact from the ground? The warlock surely had some tricks under his sleeve.
