PS I'm Over You

"Do you think it's a good idea to meet your supposed fiance at your Uncle's party?" Ginny asked as she helped Ririna prepare herself for the party tonight. She put a medicinal ointment on her wounds before covering it up.

"There's no other chance to talk to him. I wouldn't want to waste my time to seek an appointment with him. I can shoot his proposal down in person." Ririna replied.

Ginny took her dress from Ririna's bed and held it to her body, twirling around the room as if she were already wearing the dress on her body, her skirt billowing around her legs until she finally stopped spinning around. Ririna laughed silently at her friend's silliness.

Her friend was constantly invading her home, making food for her and Skyler and always prancing around her home when Eli was at work. Since she woke up, Ginny took the responsibility to help her treat her wounds. She was like a mother hen that wouldn't leave Ririna alone which made her get on her nerves.

"So do you have something to wear for tonight?" Ginny asked.

Both Eli and Evan were also invited to the party and since Ginny was already married to Evan, she was his plus one.

"I haven't decided what to wear but Eli said he already asked someone to prepare it for tonight," Ririna answered truthfully.

Not wasting any time, Ginny rushed to Ririna's walk-in closet that held different elegant dresses and shirts that Ririna barely uses. She pulled open the door and gasped in delight when she saw what kind of dresses her friend had. She pulled open some of the drawers as if it was her first time to see those kinds of fine dresses and lingerie.

Ririna wondered when did Eli decide to change her whole wardrobe. Most of them are brand new and expensive. Her lover never failed to show off his capabilities.

"Oh my god, Ririna. These are wonderful. Did Eli buy these for you? Damn Evan couldn't spend a dime for me to buy me a new dress." Ginny said as she continued to rummage through Ririna's drawers. Ririna followed her friend and leaned her shoulder to the doorframe.

There was still part of the walk-in closet that hadn't been used and was empty. She wondered if Eli wanted them to stay at her manor after getting married. They hadn't decided yet for the date of their wedding since Eli wanted her fully healed before they start the preparation.

When Ginny opened the last door in the closet, she gawked at the gowns that were revealed to the two of them. The gowns were extremely beautiful and Ririna couldn't remember having bought those dresses. Ginny pulled out one magenta dress that caught her attention then showed it to Ririna. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Would Eli allow her to wear something like that? He didn't seem the type of man who wanted a woman clinging to his arm while wearing a seductive dress.

"Oh wow. You should try this Ririna." Ginny pushed the dress on her, ushering Ririna to take it. Ririna clasped it on her hands. The smooth and soft fabric gently c.a.r.e.s.ses her skin.

"I have to say Eli did a great job picking up these gorgeous gowns for you. You should wear that gown tonight." Ginny insisted.

"Don't you think it's too provocative?" Ririna isn't used to dressing seductively, she always chose simple dresses over the expensive ones. Ginny giggled back at her.

"No. Who gives a damn what the lady of the house wears on her own mansion? Do you really think someone will mess with you while you're in Eli's arm all evening? No. Besides, I don't think someone is going to think some nasty thing about you being Eli's woman. Let them see that ring Eli gave you and they will shut up."

"If you say so."

"I think Eli will have a hard time to look at anyone but you in that dress." Ginny teased and Ririna rolled her eyes. She isn't helping her to calm down.

Ririna stared at herself in the mirror, feeling a bit nervous. She didn't know the dress would fit her this nice. The dress had a deep v neck with the edges laced with small crystals. It was sleek and it hugged her curves nicely making her c.h.e.s.t look bigger than usual in a classy way. The dress was so captivating with that she felt it was the first time she fell in love with a dress.

She had paired it with simple diamond earring and bracelet which matched the trail of crystals on her gown. Even her high heeled shoes were a simple one that was well hidden beneath her lovely dress.

She allowed her hair to be curled making her face brighter without making her look childish. Ririna also had gone for a more dramatic smokey eye with mascara, a light touch of blush and a pale shade of pink lipstick.

Ginny barged into the room and looked at her then whistle lowly.

"You look so gorgeous, Ririna. I bet Eli would be a fool if he let you out of his sight the whole evening." she grinned.

"We should probably head downstairs. The boys are waiting." Ririna replied before pulling Ginny's hand and left her room. Before they knew it, they were already walking down the hallway and then stopped at the top of the stairs.

Both brothers and Skyler were waiting at the foot of the stairs and busy talking to each other. Skyler looked up when he heard his mother's footsteps above the stairs.

"So pretty, mommy!" he exclaimed.

Ririna smiled at her son before turning her gaze to her man. She s.u.c.k.e.d in a deep breath as she took in his form-fitting black tuxedo on him. His hair neatly combed with the same style as Skyler.

Looking at both of them, she couldn't help but notice how the two of them tried to dress the same. Eli looked up at her and she held her breath once again. Their eyes met and held for a while before he took in her outfit, his eyelids lowering as if he's appreciating her look.

"Told you, he will go crazy at your outfit," Ginny whispered to her then winked.

Ririna slowly walked down the stairs, never breaking her eye contact with her man who was waiting for her. The moment she reached them, Eli stood in front of her and took her hand then placed a gentle kiss on the back of it.

"You and Sky look very handsome tonight," she said.

"You look so beautiful, my queen," he whispered. Wasn't she supposed to be his witch?

"Auntie Ginny is pretty too," Skyler said before taking his aunt's hand taking her away from his Uncle Evan leading her outside.

"Hey, Sky! Return my wife to me!" Evan yelled before following his nephew and wife outside the manor.

The cold air from the outside made her shudder. When Eli noticed it, he took off his suit and placed it on Ririna's shoulder. His hand pulling her closer to him before he dropped his head, his face pressed at the hollow of her neck. He breathed in deeply before wrapping his arms around her waist. It was one of the rare moment of show of affection from his side.

Ririna wrapped her hands around his neck before letting her forehead rest on his shoulder. Even with almost four-inch heels, he was way too tall for her.

"Is there's something wrong?" she asked.

"I just miss you terribly. I want you," he whispered back.

Heat surged through her body as she realized what he meant. Indeed, it's been a long time since they were intimate with each other.
