4 weeks later.

A red haired girl is near a flowing river, holding rocks on her hand. She was surrounded by trees everywhere and was fixedly staring at the back of a blue and black dog sitting cross legged on a stone, the dog eyes were closed.

The girl assumed a throwing position and threw a rock with familiarity, like she was doing this for some time. Then a shocking sight happened, the dog perfectly dodged it, like he had eyes in his back.

The girl didn't even flinch seeing the first one being dodged and continued throwing rock after rock. The dog dodged every single one of them, and and even caught the last rock with one hand. It turned to face the girl after that, it's face was happy.

"Riolu!!" Riolu ran to Blake, who pat him a lot. Blake face had a genuine smile in it.

"You really are a amazing little guy aren't you?" Blake was happy for Riolu, who was able to sense attacks with his aura in mere three weeks of training. The training method Blake used was based on observation haki training, though Blake didn't beat Riolu up with a wood stick.

He just threw rocks at him until Riolu can dodge, these rocks didn't cause that much damage to him anyway since had a human female average strength, so they at most hurt a little. Even then, Blake didn't like to do this, but he had to for Riolu and his own sake.

"Now you only need to learn how to transmit your thought to others via Aura and read their minds." Riolus could naturally communicate with their kind via Aura since their innate talent with it was so strong, but being able to do so with other pokemon or humans is incredibly hard. They need actual training in Aura to do so.

If he reaches that point, he could talk with Blake for real like some sort of telepathy. He could even read others superficial thoughts, heck, a Aura master can see if someone is a bad person or good person at a glance. It's also possible transmit your emotions to others,transmitting and intensifying your hostility could make something like a less intense conqueror haki.

There were also other uses to it like the Aura Sphere, a pokemon move that Riolu and his evolved form can naturally learn. Blake can theoretically do all of that too, but it depends on his talent.

"Let's go back to the inn, I'm tired of this forest already." They started to make their way back to what has been Blake home for four weeks. They walked into forest with some familiarity, not fearing getting lost because of the pokedex.

Suddenly, a virtual screen appeared and startled Blake. At the same time ,Riolu face got unusually serious, and he stood in front of Blake warily. Blake had a guess of what was happening.

[Defeat The Wolf Pack]

-Defeat the pack of wolves that terrorize Green Bark Forest!!

They were being ambushed by a pack of wolves. That was something unthinkable in the Green Bark Forest, since even meeting a lone wolf was rare, to actually find a pack, you needed "good" luck. As Blake was wasting time thinking about how "lucky" he was, six wolves walked to them threateningly. One of them was leading the other five, probably the alpha of the pack.

"Riolu, can you handle this?" Asked Blake, who was getting a Potion from his bag. They didn't use even of the two Potions, but he worried that they might need to this time.

"Riolu!" Riolu nodded with confidence. He walked forward slowly, all the wolves except the alpha slowly retreated, like he was emitting some sort of threatening aura. Riolu looked indeed very brave.

Riolu and the alpha wolf walked forward little by little, the other wolves just watched as both glared at each other, both not flinching even a bit.

"Riolu... Let's do this!" As he watched that scene, Blake first was worried about Riolu, but as he saw his firm gaze, he smiled. How was he supposed to be the very best that one ever was, hesitating in a moment like this? He walked forward, stepping closer to their battle, being just a little behind Riolu.

It was time to see the fruit of their efforts, Riolu didn't stop earning XP even a single day, for four weeks. Riolu was now Lv 5! Since the animals that they fought were simply small animals without much combat power, they also gave little XP points. So Riolu was stuck at Lv 5 for some time already.

"Riolu, Quick Attack!!!" At a situation like this, Blake seized the initiative and Riolu followed his order, running at the alpha wolf like a bullet surrounded by white light. He punched the alpha wolf in the face, but it didn't go back even a single step.

"Riolu get away!!!"

The white light faded away from Riolu as the effect from Quick Attack vanished, and the wolf attacked Riolu with his paw. Riolu very barely managed to avoid it, but it still grazed him. As he got back to his position Blake saw three scratch on Riolu arm, they weren't big but you could see blood coming from them.

'Tch! Direct attacks on this guy will be tough, huh?' The trade of blows earlier wasn't even a bit beneficial to Riolu.

"Riolu, Vacuum Wave!!"

Riolu punched out a vacuum wave, that hit the wolf who was waiting for Riolu to make a move in the face. It didn't expect Riolu to have ranged attacks, and it was hard to avoid a fast attack life this if you stood still for so long. It was a clean hit, the other side of the wolf face that didn't had punch marks was now also wounded.

"Again! Do it until you hit it!!"

It glared at Riolu and Blake with anger, and it finally took the initiative to attack. It avoided Riolu's vacuum waves by jumping from left to right, only one of fours vacuum waves managed to hit it, and it just grazed his sides.

Blake was beginning to get worried that Riolu would run out of energy at this rhythm, Pokemon didn't had something like PP in real life after all, so they used their own energy.

But, the alpha wolf didn't seem to want a battle of attrition, it just charged at Riolu direction, wanting to jump at him and bite his neck with his strong jaw and sharp teeth. Blake didn't exactly know that the wolf wanted to do, but he wasn't going to make Riolu stand there to see.

"Riolu, use Quick Attack to get away!!" Shouted Blake.

Riolu was surrounded by white light and dodged just in time, as the wolf jumped at him and missed his bite by half a centimeter.

"Use Vacuum Wave while you're still on Quick Attack!! Keep using it!!" In these three weeks, Blake discovered some interesting things. Pokemon, unlike in the game, could use two moves at the same time here! And Quick Attack worked in a way that until you punched your opponent, it wouldn't go away.

Obviously, that had a time limit. And even if it didn't had one, it consumed energy so it wouldn't last long anyway. Blake and Riolu were walking on a thin rope here, Riolu energy was obviously beginning to run low, and once it did, Riolu is not going to able to use pokemon moves!

Blake does not think a Potion is going to restore Riolu energy, or else something like Ether(What pokemon use to restore their PP/Energy in game) would not be in the PokeMart.

It seems like the energy pokemon use in their moves is different from their physical energy, so even if Blake restored Riolu HP, he would need to fight with his own body and nothing more.

The wolf was surprised by Riolu dodging it's attack, and got hit by a vacuum wave in the eye. That was not only painful, but it also blinded him by a short while, he couldn't avoid Riolu next three vacuum waves. It was very angry and hurt at the same time, and it tried to chase Riolu down.

It was a fruitless effort as Riolu was under the effects of Quick Attack, so it got hit by three vacuum waves because of it's mistake. The wolf stopped running, and just stood still for a while, it was very hurt, the big amount of vacuum waves he was hit with deformed his body.

The white light surrounding Riolu vanished, and Blake knew it wasn't because of the time limit. Riolu energy had ran out.

"Damn it, and just when we were so close. Riolu, let's re-" Blake stopped his words at the gaze Riolu gave him. It was a confident gaze, the gaze of someone who didn't even had a shred of doubt of his victory.

"Are you serious? This is too dangerous." Riolu smiled. At that moment, Blake felt like he could sense Riolu's emotions, his confidence and bravery. It was probably Riolu using Aura. Blake clenched his fist.

"Go, I trust you." Said Blake with both fists and teeth clenched.

Riolu nodded.

He stood face to face with the hurt wolf, it wans't going to go down like this. Riolu approached it, lifted his fist and... both started a bloody fight.

Riolu, without being able to use pokemon moves, was only able to punch and kick, and maybe bite. He wasn't a match for the wolf in a fight like this, but it was now incredibly hurt. Even so, the prideful alpha wasn't going to simply die so easily.

*SCRATCH*

*PUNCH*

*BITE*

The fight was chaotic, and you couldn't see who was winning from a third party perspective. Both had thrown strategies out of the windows, and were simply savagely trying to kill each other.

After a short while that felt like a eternity, the alpha wolf bit Riolu arm, and Riolu punched it in the throat with full force. It's mouth loosened and it finally fell to the ground, never to get up again. The other wolves and Blake just watched as, the incredibly bloodied and hurt Riolu, filled with scratch marks and a huge bite wound the arm....

"AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Gave a victorious howl.
