"Riolu!!" Ignoring everything else, Blake ran to Riolu side, picking him up before he fell to the ground. His expression was a mixture of happiness, worry, pride, and rage.

"You idiot.... I'm proud of you." Said Blake as he stuffed a potion in Riolu mouth. The wolves were still watching everything, Blake knows why. Animals with low intellect like them obey their instincts, and when Riolu transmitted and intensified his hostility earlier, these instincts were screaming at them to run away.

The only one who didn't run was the alpha wolf, he was able to suppress his instinct and fight. The rest were barely able to suppress it, they could only watch. With the fight earlier and Riolu victory against the alpha wolf, three of them ran away. Now only two of the six wolves including the alpha remained.

The two weren't under the influence of Riolu Aura anymore, so they started approaching slowly, they were still wary of Riolu even if he was so badly wounded, and Blake was very happy with that.

He didn't care about the wolves growling at him and made Riolu drink the second Potion. His wounds were healing at a visible speed, even the scratch from the start of the fight was gone. The wolves stopped slowly approaching and suddenly jumped at him and Riolu!

*PUNCH*

Riolu suddenly stood up and punched both in the face, they made sounds a dog makes once it gets hit and retreated a few steps. He was now in nearly perfect condition, he couldn't use pokemon moves for some time, but his strength alone was more than enough to deal with two average wolves.

"Riolu, finish this." Blake didn't feel pity for those guys.

"Riolu!" What happened afterwards was obvious. When Riolu was Lv 1, he was able to deal with a wolf alone, though he needed pokemon moves for that. Now he is Lv 6, he can easily beat them with his body alone.

They both got their heads smashed with a single punch, Riolu was way faster and stronger than both. The alpha wolf was a anomaly, Blake still can't understand how it was so strong.

A virtual screen with that written appeared in front of his face, it appeared when a mission was completed.

"But, not all the wolves were killed... maybe disbanding the pack was enough?" Anyway, as long as he got the rewards, it didn't matter to Blake.

"I can now buy TMs and HMs, I was getting worried that they wouldn't exist here.." a TM(Technical Machine) and a HM(Hidden Machine) were both used to teach pokemon moves. In the game, you couldn't forget a HM, but you needed to use them to progress the story.

"But I think it doesn't matter here. If I remember it right, Riolu learned Counter but didn't need to forget a move." Pokemon were limited to only four moves in the game, once they reached that point they would need to forget a existing move to learn a new one after that.

But obviously, forgetting moves you learned because you learned a new one makes zero sense in real life. Riolu had now five moves including Counter.

Counter is a very strong move, but you needed to use it at the right timing at the game, even more so in real life. It also only worked with physical moves, you needed Mirror Coat for special attacks.

Failing to use Counter would probably waste energy, as for how much energy it would use, who knows. It couldn't be small amounts, since it was such a strong move.

Blake now had 5000 pokedollars, he could buy a good amount of potions, even a super potion, but he doesn't want to waste money very much. Pokeballs are useless at the moment, he already tried to catch animals with it but he got a virtual screen saying that only pokemon-like animals would be available to catch.

And the reason he couldn't waste it on potions, well, it was because he wanted to buy a TM. Every single useful TM had 10000 pokedollars as minimum price, some of them could even reach 30000! He was eyeing a TM called Power-Up punch, it was a pokemon move that had incredible effects. Every time you attacked with it, your attack would go up.

'But that doesn't matter at the moment.' Blake wanted to get the hell out of here already. He tried to put the alpha wolf corpse and a average wolf corpse on his bag, they were worth good money after all. Shame the alpha wolf was heavy, so Riolu had to carry it for him.

He took the other wolf corpse with his hand, and they set out to leave the forest. Blake was already accustomed to carrying corpses of beasts, but it was his first time carrying it with his hands. He felt it was very disgusting but a wolf corpse was too good to just leave one in the ground.

Riolu couldn't carry more than one because of his small stature, so Blake was forced to carry both corpses alone. It wasn't easy, he was tired as hell, but they finally reached Fengliang City.

Blake sold the corpses to the Uncle he met the first time he came here, and now he had a silver coin worth of money. This was considering he had to pay four coppers everyday during four weeks, the wolves were obviously worth a lot.

Blake collapsed on his bed, he had to carry the three corpses one by one once they reached the city to avoid people seeing Riolu, he was seriously tired.

'Guess it's time to change forests.... I will think of this tomorrow.' Green Bark Forest now gave very little EXP and money, it was simply a waste of time to stay hunting there. If he wanted to level up Riolu and have more money, he needed to go a more difficult forest.

Blake slept peacefully,leaving all his worries for tomorrow. He had gone trough a lot today after all
