Lyricist: Her Revenge

Chapter 89 - Blind Date (2)

Very soon, she saw a man in his early thirties in a red sweater & a pair of black pants entered. Amy stood up, 'That must be him.'

The man saw her & he flashed her a smile. He had defined facial features with a pointed nose, which indicated a fox's pointy countenance. His full lips had a flashy grin, but Amy felt in no way attracted to him. She smiled back, somewhat awkwardly. A shy blush crept into her face. Very soon, he was standing right in front of her. He forwarded his hand towards her for a handshake, "Hello! I am Harry. Harry Stewart."

Amy smiled as she took his hand, "I am Amy. Amy Keats."

The glass window was made in such a way that people inside could see whatever was happening outside. While people outside couldn't. Amy looked outside & saw people bustling around happily. Two tables opposite her was a man in a black cap & hoodie. His hands were intertwined into a giant fist & covered his lower part of the face. He had a pair of glasses on & his eyes were glued to Amy & Harry. His main problem was that he couldn't use her daughter an excuse to spoil her blind date. D.K. smiled when he thought of the little girl, his daughter.

"Let's have a seat", Harry gestured politely.

"Sure", Amy smiled & sat down on the chair. She intertwined her hands on the table while Harry mirrored her actions.

Harry took a deep breath, "So? You have a daughter of five, isn't it?"

"Hmm", she smiled, "Her name is Miracle. I hope you know the conditions I stated if we marry."

"Yeah", Harry smiled slyly, "No physical relationsh.i.p.s. No kids. Inheritance rights to Miracle. Am I right?"

Amy smiled through gritted teeth. Who told him to say that aloud? What a nuisance! Okay, she came to know that he was open-minded stated his facts clearly.

"Yeah", She nodded slowly while keeping her eyes on her fingers.

On the other hand, D.K. was stunned. His brows arched into a 180-degree angle. His face had a scowl.

'What else could she do? I am still in her heart. Those conditions won't happen because I won't let you marry anyone except me.'

With those thoughts, he leaned back on his chair, & gestured a waiter nearby. He whispered something in his ears. He was a bit stunned.

'People would drug their lovers. This mana thought otherwise. At least, he carries some dignity.'

"No worries, Sir", The waiter saluted him, "Your work will be done."

D.K. nodded without care as his eyes were still glued to the woman opposite him. The waiter soon left. A few moments later, a waitress made her way to the table where Amy & Harry were seated.

"What would you like?" Harry asked her out of courtesy.

"Anything would do", Amy waved, "Except alcoholic drinks."

Harry nodded and turned his head to the waitress, "Any special snacks?"

"Yes", the waitress smiled, "Classic Omelettes, bread tortillas..."

"One bread tortilla", Amy nodded.

"Okay", Harry nodded, "One Classic omelette."

"Sure" The waitress nodded, "Any drinks?"

"Fruit juice?" Amy asked Harry.

"Yeah, fruit juice."

"Okay, sir. Your order will be placed in minutes."

D.K. smirked while glancing at them.
