Lyricist: Her Revenge

Chapter 69 - Who was the pervert?

Alice sat down, feeling satisfied. Just then, Daniel's phone rang & he picked it up. She watched him closely.

"Hello?"

"Meet up? Where? When?"

"Okay! I'll inform him, too."

"Nah! He's taken!"

"Yep!"

"Me? Taken, my dear!"

"Bye, then!"

Alice furrowed her brows when she heard the words such as 'Taken', 'meet up', etc. Daniel hung up with a frown & heaved a sigh.

"What's wrong?" Alice quirked a brow.

"Nancy!" saying so, Daniel plopped down on the sofa, resulting in popped out blue veins on Alice's forehead.

...

Alice had taken a day off & so do Daniel. But her phone was already bombarded with phone calls. She ignored all of them, but nevertheless, she answered Amy's call.

"Hello!" Amy spoke in a chirpy voice.

"What's happening Alice?"

"What's the meaning of all these?"

"Did you really beat them up?"

"Why aren't you answering me?"

Amy's angry voice jumped out of the phone & echoed through the entire living room, ruining its silence, as much that Daniel woke up with a frown. As expected, Amy bombarded her with questions.

"Calm down, Amy", Alice spoke happily.

"How can you tell such things now?" Amy snapped, "Do you know how people are cursing you online?"

"Relax & take a deep breath", Alice sounded like the perfect yoga guru.

"Nonsense! Did you really do these?"

"Trust me. I did it."

"Oh, okay! I trust...huh?" Amy caught her words, "You...why are you so impulsive?"

"It's okay, Amy. Just trust me..."

"How can I trust you?" Amy cut her off.

"Let me finish my words", Alice sighed, "No PR needed. The curse will dissipate by tomorrow morning."

"What do you mean?" Amy sounded confused.

Alice smirked & spoke out her famous dialogue, "Just wait & watch."

"Okay, then. I trust you", Amy's words came out in a whisper.

"Thank you", Alice hung up & smiled.

Cath woke up with a splitting headache because she got a little drunk last night. She failed to remember how she got into her apartment. Well, it's good to discover early that she has low alcohol tolerance. She sat up & her blanket slid down. That's when she was wearing another shirt. His shirt?! She blushed intensely at the thought of him changing her clothes. That means...did she vomit last night? She got down from her bed, clutching her head with her left hand. Her eyes went to her reflection in the mirror. That's when she saw that she was still wearing the blue frock beneath the shirt. She blushed again before slapping her forehead lightly. Where...she was thinking he had changed her clothes?! She heaved a sigh.

She made her way to the basin, brushed her teeth, & washed her face. Then, she dragged her tired body to the kitchen. Her eyes sparkled at the bowl of veggie stew & a plate of bread toast with a note under it. She grabbed the note & smile spread across her tomato face.

It said:

My Catherine Beauty,

If you're reading this, then you're already by your breakfast table. Let me tell you, take care of my precious shirt. I'll take it back when I come tonight. Don't think I changed your clothes & blush. I just put it on your frock because you were cold. Of course, if you want to see the pervert me...then we can try it when I come back tonight. I don't mind trying it with you. Till then, stay online.

Yours truly,

Aaron

Few emojis were drawn on the note. The handwritten note. Cath blushed as she hid her face behind the note. Then she sat down & began savoring her breakfast. It was delicious, made by a pervert.

Well, who was the pervert? She really needs to rethink it!!
