Lyricist: Her Revenge

The next morning

The excitement of a new day made Alice wake up earlier than her usual morning routine. The first thing she did after waking up was to give a call to a certain someone. After the call ended, she smirked bashfully & ran inside the bathroom.

Daniel came inside her room to wake her up but found the bed empty! After all, it was a big day for her! He was a white high-necked sweater & white pants. He became a bit concerned. In a concerned tone, he called out, "Alice? Where are you?"

"I'm here", a soft voice called out.

Daniel turned his head & saw the girl walking out of her bathroom, rubbing her hair with a towel. She was wearing a loosely knit pink sweater & underneath was a white tank top, exposing her rosy skin. Her slender legs were hugged by a loose white pajama with two cute bunny face drawn on her knees. In short, she was looking extremely cute!

But, Alice completely ignored his adorable gaze & walked up to her dresser. She picked up the blower & began drying her hair. At that moment, she felt someone poking her cheeks. She turned & saw Daniel poking them! He actually dared to poke her cheeks. He was so happy & smiling that his eyes had turned into two crescent moons. Pink hearts were practically flowing above his head.

Alice rolled her eyes & buried her face in his warm c.h.e.s.t, wrapping her arms around his waist. Daniel, realizing the heat of the moment, hugged her back.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

"Hmm", she nodded, smiling.

"But, won't your dubbing session be affected?" his voice seemed worried.

"It's okay! I've already started it without any hindrance. Moreover, a single dirty look equals a thousand slaps."

Alice looked up & gave him a smile. He smiled back & led her out of the room.

Dining table

Alice stared at her bowl of cheesy pasta & invisible drools appeared at the corner of her lips. She smiled at him & said, "Thank you, my darling!"

"At your service", Daniel bowed to her elegantly which made her smile, "After all, good nourishment before a good start. Now, dig in!"

Alice quickly gulped down her bowl of pasta & ran off to the basin to wash her hands & mouths. Then, she swiftly strode off to the little table prepared for her by Daniel. All kinds of equipment were set up- a laptop, two pen drives, a list of phone numbers & email addresses, etc.

It seemed she was waiting for some miracle to happen that she had closed her eyes. Just then, her phone buzzed. A message appeared on her screen, "Done."

Alice smirked before setting the keyboard of her blue laptop on fire. Daniel watched her with his arms crossed over her c.h.e.s.t, clearly bewitched.

An hour later

Alice cracked her knuckles lazily after her great work was done. She pulled Daniel along with her to the sofa & switched on the TV.

Zach & RJ Lily beaten black & blue for days. Puts blame on Alice.

Lily: I don't know what kind of grudge she holds against 'us'.

The following headlines presented themselves on the TV. Alice & Daniel had elegant smirks on their faces. After all, that was what she wanted.

Very soon, an interview started. Zach & Lily, in their hospital gowns, sitting on two hospital beds. Jessica was standing quietly beside his bed.

The reporters hovered around with their microphones.

"Did she really kidnap you two?"

"Did she hire goons to beat you up?"

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Both of their lips were pressed into thin lines. Alice snorted. They were so good at acting. Why bother the music & radio industry?!

Actually, this morning, Alice asked the bodyguards to throw them in the hospital grounds & flee from the scenes. The result was as expected. She knew she would be framed. That way, it would be easier to expose them.

On the other hand, Alice had two pieces of evidence. One was of Zach & Lily planning & the other was of the day when Daniel was kidnapped with Lily & Zach mocking him. Alice had carefully cut out the parts which may hint on their relationship on the first video. As for the second, she kept a brief part where Zach was seen pouring water & Lily harassing him.

Alice was tired watching their drama & hence switched the TV off. Daniel got up from the sofa. But she held him back, "Hey! Where are you going?"

"Why?" he sat back down & smiled, "My sweetheart planned such an outrageous revenge plot. Of course, I've to make the press conference a great one!"

"Nah!" Alice snorted, "I don't pay such respect to my enemies!"
