Lyricist: Her Revenge

Chapter 58 - Advised by Amy

A flashy SUV stopped in front of the giant auditorium with cameras snapping furiously. Everyone was anticipating the one who would shortly descend from the car. Soon, the door opened & an elegant lady in red descended from the car. The cameras were still flashing furiously. Her natural aura resembled that of Mother Nature. Her red gown made her look like she was surrounded by flames, mighty & unreachable.

The host was impressed & immediately approached Alice for a short interview.

"How was your journey from being the sensational girl band's lead to famous lyricist & singer today?"

"Rough & tough!" Alice emphasized every word clearly. The cameras captured every moment with applause.

Likewise, few questions were asked & the short interview ended. Then, Alice walked up to the wall of fame & signed her name on one of the golden CDs before posing for a few photos. Very elegantly, she made her way to the hall. The crowd screamed & applauded her arrival while she smiled at everyone around. The male & the female leads, Asher Acton & Maria Falcon, were already present there, busy greeting the guests & answering the reporters. As soon as the hostess saw her entering, she began speaking, "Our other star of the night & a new face of the music industry. Please welcome on stage, Alice Buds!"

The hall once again burst into an applaud. The reporters were competing against each other about who would interview her at the moment. Alice had a slight smile on her face that was neither warm nor cold. At her current position in this industry, she was advised the following points by Amy -

~ Maintain a low profile.

~ Extend contacts with the people you feel right.

~ Don't drink the drinks you left while going out.

~ Don't spend time talking with a single person.

~ Don't be impolite to reporters.

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Alice finally took her seat beside the lead actress. She made small talk with her as well as the male lead. Finally, the singer couple made their way to the stage. They were seniors in the music industry. The only empty seat was beside Alice. That was for Zach. She smirked before her eyes darted towards Jessica in the background. She darted a mocking glance at her before turning her head away. Finally, when everything settled down, the hostess began speaking again, "We'll begin the ceremony now. But, I can see that one of our guests is missing, isn't it?"

The crowd downstage started chattering in whispers. Everybody immediately noticed the empty seat beside Alice. The hostess wanted to just create this effect. She smiled before turning to Alice, "Alice, everybody by now has already noticed the empty seat beside you. Can we know where he is now?"

The mic was passed to Alice as soon as the question was thrown to Alice, "Mmm...maybe he went for messing around."

Everyone in the country knew Zach as an awesome womanizer behind his mysterious mask. So, everyone in the hall broke into laughter. The hostess too smiled before speaking again, "He mentioned you as his classmate. Can you tell us about his childhood?"

"I guess, people downstairs contain fans both the leads here. If I began speaking about Zach, I'm bound to get some rotten tomatoes." In short, Alice said that they were here for a music launch, & not to speak about Zach.

The hall once again applauded her clever response while the hostess smiled in embarrassment. Then, the hostess spoke again, "Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll now officially begin the music launch ceremony."

Very soon, a girl with a tray, wearing a short pale blue gown, entered. On the tray, was a small remote control. The lead actor, Asher, picked it up & turned his back to the crowd. He stood facing the screen in front of him & pressed the button. The screen lit up & the title track 'A day in Spring' began to play. Everyone in the crowd applauded while the cameras were snapped furiously.
