"Who is the special guest tonight?"

"It's a secret!", the crew member smiled.

"I see", Alice smiled awkwardly.

The crew members led her in & Amy followed behind.

30 minutes later

Alice walked out of the dressing room. She was wearing a grey gown with white flowers. It was revealing her fair collar bones & it complimented her curves perfectly. Her short hair was shaped into a messy bun, with braids running behind her head. The stylist was satisfied with her look. She had a radiant glow that came off naturally. Amy was asked to take her to a nearby room to wait for the show to begin. So, she quickly followed behind Amy.

When they entered the room, they saw a young boy beaming at them. He was wearing an Aeropostale white printed tee, a pair of black denim & a pair of grey sneakers. His slick black hair was smoothed into a perfect hairstyle. He had a chiseled face, perfect jawline & two cute dimples appeared when he smiled.

"Hey, bro!", Alice waved frantically.

"Hello, sister!", the young guy's smile broadened as a pink color rushed to his cheeks.

"You can call me Alice", she reached out her hand.

"I'm Jim", he took her hand & shook it gently.

"Hello!", Amy smiled at him.

"Nice to meet you."

The trio sat down on the sofa & had a nice casual chat.

20 minutes later

One of the crew members entered the room, "Guys! Our live stream will start now. Be ready!"

Alice & Jim nodded & stood up. She hooked her arm with the little guy & made their way to the backstage.

Black Villa

Daniel was more than eager to see her on the show. Jake sat beside him & kept talking with Eddie about the show like Alice did.

Soon the live stream began & the host began to speak.

"Please welcome on stage the budding child star Jim & the singing sensation Alice."

The audience downstage broke out in applause. People were holding up neon lights as a sign of love.

Alice & Jim walked into the stage & another round of applause began. People started cheering for them. Soon, they shook hands with the host & took their seats. The host was actually a cheeky lady with a lively face.

"So? My dear viewers, are you ready for the show?"

The crowd once again exploded in cheers.

"Welcome to the Fan Maniac show!"

The orc.h.e.s.tra on the extreme right played the welcome beat & finally, the show began.

The host glanced at the two of them & spoke, "Today, we're privileged to have the viral sensations who took the world by storm."

"Our first round, of course, is the rapid fire round. So, my first question is for Alice."

Alice nodded & smiled in acknowledgment.

"So, Alice? What's your favorite hobby?"

"Mischief!", Alice winked slyly.

The crowd burst into laughter.

"Sure, cheeky!", the host laughed, "Where were you born?"

"Star City."

Alice easily passed the rapid-fire without skipping any questions. Next, it was Jim's turn.

"Look, I'll make it clear to my viewers that the questions won't be repeated!"

Jim smiled at her. And his round of rapid-fire began. The young boy was quite cheeky too & made the crowd burst into laughter.

"So, here we put a 'the end' tag to today's rapid fire. Now, let's welcome our special guest on stage."

A pair of slender legs was seen walking into the stage. The crowd screamed & squealed. But, Alice & little Jim were getting anxious. They were not allowed to see who it was until he or she appeared in front of them. Both of them heard the rhythmic sound of footsteps approaching.

The footsteps stopped right behind them & their anticipation was screaming like crazy. The crowd was screaming & squealing yet.

Daniel's face was like the bottom of a pit when he saw the masked man on the screen. He deliberately did it to be closer to Alice. Why so pigheaded? When a girl deliberately avoids you, should you bite her head off?

"Evil dimwit!!", the face moved behind the mask.

When Alice heard this, her beautifully sculpted smile froze. The camera captured it all.

Wasn't that what that crazy Zach called her during her school days? She & Jim turned their heads & saw the mysterious Zach Schultz standing before them. Alice forced a smile & Jim smiled politely. Only God knows if it was real or fake!!

The host shook hands with him & said, "Seems our Zach knows Daddy's girl, huh?"

After all, their jobs were to create gossips & hypes.

"Of course", to everyone's surprise, he wrapped his arms around Alice, "We're classmates!"

Alice was stunned. Of course, she couldn't show her disgust here. So, she forced a smile as much as she wanted to cry!

On the other end of the screen, Daniel gritted his teeth viciously. Jake patted his shoulder, "After all she's the Threat Queen!"

Of course, Daniel knew that! So, he was not worried at all. Actually, he was jealous. Quite jealous!

"I see", the host smiled, "So, Alice? I guess you saw his face then."

"Of course!", she smiled wickedly. Her next move was already in her hands!

The show ended with smiling faces & satisfied expressions. This was the most comical show ever in its history. Obviously, the TV station hoped for great reviews. Only, Alice was the disappointed one.

Pink Villa

Alice drove her car into the gate. When Amy got down & she was about to park the car into the garage, her phone rang. Seeing the familiar name, she picked it up, "Hello? Daniel?"

"Come quickly! Eddie just woke up!"

"Sure!"

Amy was waiting at the entrance. So, Alice drove back the car before she leaned out of the window, "Something urgent came up. I'll be back later!"

"Okay!", Amy nodded.

Quickly, Alice drove out of the villa. Amy entered the living room & to her surprise, a woman was sitting on the sofa. The woman stood up & walked up to her, "Is Alice back?"

"No, she is not here!"Amy hesitated, "May I know who you're?"

"I'm her Mom." Mom? Amy was suspicious. She never heard she'd a mom. Seeing her hesitation, the woman smiled & handed her a packet, "Here, give this to her. Tell her that her Mom gave this."

The woman left as soon as she handed out the packet. Amy watched her retreating back merging in the dark.
