Loving A Triple Threat

Chapter 8 - The Rogue Theatre

Sena arrived five minutes late, but Gi wasn't worried, boys had a different concept of punctuality.

"Ah, sorry I'm late, there was a massive line for the shakes," he said holding out one for her.

She didn't take it. "What is it?" She asked.

"Large chocolate milkshake, freshly made from a top café," he beamed.

Her d.e.s.i.r.e rose. She looked at the cup that was calling her name, 'Gi, Gi. Come on. No one will know. Drink me. It's fine, you'll work it off dancing or running away from the police knowing Sena. Please. Just this once. Come on. You know you want me. Uhuh. I can feel you weakening. It's not like one shake will stop you from becoming an idol."

"Sorry," Gi said sadly saying goodbye to the shake. "I can't."

"Oh," Sena said smiling. "Don't worry, it didn't cost nothin." He proceeded to throw both shakes in the closest bin.

"Argh," Gi said flailing and failing to stop one dropping in the bin. "You could've had yours. I feel terrible now." She said genuinely.

Sena gave her a genuine smile. "Now, how could I drink one in front of you. I saw the look you gave that shake, and you're so disciplined you still said no. If I was a hundredth as disciplined as you, I'd still be in school."

They began wandering aimlessly through the lanes and side alleys. Gi followed Sena without thinking, and he wasn't looking where he was going.

Gi laughed, and then realised, "Wait you're not in school?"

Sena shrugged an avoided the question.

She was going to tell him she owed him this date but she had feelings for someone else, but now she couldn't do it.

It would break her heart, to break his.

She suddenly felt weak, she was not so disciplined after all.

They walked in silence for a time while she collected her thoughts and emotion. Sena held her hand and seemed to enjoy walking by her side as other boys stared at them.

"You look great by the way," he said finally.

She was wearing a skirt with tights underneath for warmth and proprietary. Her white blouse accentuated her skin, and she loved how pearly white and frilly it was. Her hair was tied back in a single long ponytail, and she had a modest amount of makeup. Enough to look pretty, but she hated how too much makeup made girls look like tramps. So she always applied small amounts to accentuate her high cheekbones and take the shine off her face.

"What's that you did to your lips?" he asked cheekily.

"It's a pencil. It highlights the line," Gi said.

"Wow," he said as if it were unknown sorcery.

"It's not allowed at school, they have strict codes," she added thinking he had never seen her use it before realising she had only met him twice. They texted so often it was like she knew him.

"Okay we're here," he said.

Gi looked around they were in a deserted alley, with garbage cans, wall cages and heavy steel security doors.

"We're where?" she asked.

Sena smiled, jumped placing a foot on the wall before double jumping up stretching his hand and grabbing the bottom of an escape ladder. He then drifted to the ground, holding on to it, as it slid slowly but surely with him.

"Here," he said before climbing up. "Follow me."

Gi looked doubtful. The ladder was rusty and dirty. Sena was already halfway up to a platform above.

"You know I'm a girl right?" She called up to him.

Sena smiled, "I've seen you jump. This is nothing for you. Hell, you could parkour better than me any day."

Gi was double doubtful, but she wasn't named brave for no reason. She jumped and grabbed the ladder which was now much lower, pulled herself up and climbed after Sena.

"Okay," he whispered, "This way." He crouched and waddled along the platform before climbing up another ladder. She followed. And then she followed him up an old metal staircase to the roof.

He led her across the rooftop to show her the view. The building was still small for Seoul, but they had a good view of the surrounding shops, and all the people were unaware of being watched by rooftop, parkour, burglars.

"This is wonderful," she whispered, and he laughed.

"You can make as much noise as you want now, they won't hear us over this stuff," he waved at all the machinery on the roof. (AN Air handling and climate control plant equipment, but Gi doesn't know this.)

"And this isn't why we're here," he said smiling, and pulling her hand, "Follow me."

He laughed at her protest that she wasn't finished with the view.

There was a hatch on the roof which he pulled, he looked up to her and said, "I got rid of the lock earlier." He then held up the broken lock to prove his point, he was like a kitten that was proud of killing a small beetle. She couldn't care less, but she didn't have the heart to tell him. She just nodded and smiled in congratulations.

"Good work," she whispered.

He slid down another ladder, an indoor one into the darkness below.

He turned on his phone light for her, to show her where to place her feet. Then he held up a finger to his lips to indicate quiet.

Gi could hear sounds, something was happening below.

He crawled along planks expecting her to follow him through the unknown hazards that lay ahead.

She got out her phone and texted him since she wasn't allowed to talk.

**You could tell me what lies ahead. This is not fun. I'm scared.**

It was a long way down, and the planks looked precarious.

**follow u wont be sorry**

He was infuriating. He could at least answer her request or placate her fears.

She gathered her courage, banished her common sense, and began to crawl. The noises below got louder. He sat next to a square hatch, beckoning her. She could see people below them, it was dark, but they were seated. Sitting quietly looking at something. If she fell off the plank, she would fall over twenty feet to her death most likely. And if the fall didn't kill her, the embarrassment would.

She finally made it to the hatch where the boards were more plentiful thankfully. She could see cables and wires all around.

"What is this place," she whispered and suddenly realised the voices were much clearer.

She peered out the square hole and looked.

It was a play. And the noises which she heard before must have been the actors.

They were so high up she could see everything, including backstage. As Gi began to listen to the lines, she realised it was a traditional play. The costumes should have been a giveaway, but she didn't realise until she deciphered the formal speech.

She watched for ages, and almost forgot Sena was with her. Suddenly remembering her manners she turned to face him, and he wasn't watching the play he was watching her enjoy it.

"What are those stupid costumes?" He whispered he must have seen it before when preparing his escapade.

"Traditional. They are so big because it used to be only male actors in all roles. That's why the faces are all painted."

"Really?" he said, stifling a laugh.

She nodded.

"Do you like it?" He asked expectantly.

It was then she realised he had researched the route, the sitting place, everything just to show her a play from a special vantage. The time it must have taken to plan all this and to have her arrive at the exact time the play was on. His heartfelt question, all he wanted was for her to like it.

She felt like pushing him, a loving push, but he might fall to his death, so she held back. "You are a terrible criminal," she accused him poking a single finger in his c.h.e.s.t instead.

His eyes searched hers, and he realised, with relief, she was teasing.

Sena must have decided it was time and leaned closer, too close, Gi didn't know what to do. If she pulled back, he would be crushed. But if she allowed him to kiss her, it would only increase his hopes higher.

She was too slow because she did not pull back immediately; he put his hand behind her head and bent in gently to kiss her.

It was too late, so Gi decided to see if he was a good kisser and embraced him. And he did deserve a reward for all his hard work.

They kissed for the longest time, as the play continued below. He was strong and gentle at the same time, his lips were surprisingly soft for such a hard exterior.

Where they sat was not the safest place to embrace, as Sena was fully aware. So he grabbed a sturdy pipe above him with one hand and put his other around her waist to pull her closer.

He would have loved to press against her tight body, but this was impossible while sitting in the most romantic place he could find. If a girl as beautiful as Gi would ever let him kiss her, it would be here.

The stunt and the play would make her feel all mushy, his brain knew this, but it was his heart that wanted her most. He couldn't stop thinking about her day and night.

He breathed her in, she smelled wonderful. If he could take a cloth and rub it all over her to take the smell home he would.

She seemed to be enjoying the kiss, she didn't push him away, his hand had a mind of its own. Fortunately, it didn't decide to grab her b.r.e.a.s.t, but he couldn't help as it began to stroke her. He stroked her neck softly, her shoulder and even her hair like she was a cat. All while his lips and now tongue explored hers.

If he cried now his pretence of being a brave hero would be ruined, so he kept control. It was so important that she always saw the brave, reckless, strong Sena or she would lose interest.

But right now he couldn't be happier. Despite all the problems in his life he was kissing the most beautiful girl in all of Seoul.

The play had stopped.

Gi suddenly realised they had been kissing for over an hour. Her lips were almost sore from the experience.

"We have to go," she said sadly. She had school and needed the rest, a long week lay ahead.

"Just a little more on the roof?" He asked. Sena was extremely cheeky.

She checked her phone. It was seven, her resolve weakened. "Ten minutes only," she warned.

Then she realised that her initial plan wasn't to lead him on, and now she was granting more time. She slapped her head figuratively. This boy, no this man, he must have been eighteen, was not only able to manipulate the police, the entire school but her as well.

"You should be an actor," she said surprising him, "No wait. A businessman who does deals." She said changing her mind. He could probably sell sand to a desert tribe.
