Love Is Sweeter Second Time Around

After the call, Mu Shu stared into space. Her legs wobbled so she sat at the edge of her bed.

She couldn't believed what she had discovered. Her suspicions was right, Yiu Chunxiu was Gao Yishen's former lover. She knew how much Gao Yishen treasured this girl. Even at the present, that guy wouldn't disclosed any information about the girl. Did he not know the existence of Yiu Yuntian?

If Gao Yishen discovered this, would he return to his former lover? Or Gao Yishen was informed about this? Was that the reason why he didn't make a move? Was it to abandon his love and child for the company? Or perhaps, he was unaware of Yiu Chunxiu?

A stiff reaction of Yiu Chunxiu that she saw earlier flashed into her mind. Yiu Chunxiu was tense earlier.

Would she react like that if Gao Yishen knew about it?

No. It was probably because Gao Yishen was clueless about it and someone close to him saw her with a child who was splitting image of Gao Yishen.

If her intuition was right, Yiu Chunxiu hid the Yiu Yuntian. But why? Yiu Chunxiu was clueless of what had happen in the past. She was sure that both Mu clan and Gao family concealed the incident and anyone who knew about the incident were taken care of their family's little army.

Her head throbbed, thinking about all the possibilities was taxing work.

One person came into her mind. It was an acquaintance of hers. However, this man was also a buddy of Gao Yishen.

She didn't noticed that she was already biting her nails, a habit of hers whenever she feel indecisive. It was unladylike habit so she tries to suppressed it. It wasn't easy though, when faced by a huge dilemma, she couldn't control this habit of hers.

In the end she decided to contact this person. She made another phone call to their acquaintance.

A groan resounded in her phone. "What do you want?" the man on the other line asked in an irritated voice.

Mu Shu tried her best to sound cheerful, "I have a favor to ask Brother Feng."

Sun Fen was from an aristocrat family too. For generations, their family was held one of the highest position in the police division of the country. Even before the reformation of the government, their family produced a lot of generals. Though they were not as famous and prominent as Yiu Family who led countless wars and brought victory, their family was enough to be called as one of the biggest contributor to the country.

Sun Feng was different though, he worked for the government as an hacker. Although it was an illegal job, it was important for security reasons.

"You? A favor? Is there something wrong with the world today?" he mocked.

She often argue with this man before that his job was unlawful but here she was, asking the man he mocked before a favor.

She inhaled, "Can you find me something about Yiu Chunxiu from Yiu Family?" she asked in her most sincere voice.

She needed to know everything. She wanted to make sure that the two would separate their ways and their resolve to continue their lives without each other was fine.

"Yiu Chunxiu again?" Sun Feng asked in surprised tone. "What's with the daughter of Yiu Family? Even the assistant of Xiao Shen[1] asked me to find everything about that girl."

Her eyebrows raised, "Xiao Shen also want to know about that girl?"

"Yeah. I was just about to hand the things I found to his assistant. Why?"

She panicked, "What? Send the doc.u.ment in my e-mail. Don't hand it over to his assistant yet, let me check first," she hurriedly said.

She got up from her to brought out her laptop.

"Why should I?" Sun Feng voiced raised.

Sun Feng treated Gao Yishen as little brother on the other hand, she was just a girl in their circle. It was no doubt that Sun Feng would favor Gao Yishen than her.

A hint of sadness flash into his eyes, "Yiu Chunxiu's child is Xiao Shen's son. I know that he still hasn't forgotten the incident years ago," Sun Feng didn't answered so she continued, "If Gao Yishen would know the existence of the child, he would fall in a huge dilemma."

A heavy atmosphere could be sense even though the two people were just talking on phone. Sun Feng heaved a sigh, "Fine. You win. I'll not include the information about the child. I'll send it to you later." Sun Feng ended the call right after he finished what he had said.

This guy hasn't changed at all! He hated people who disturb him except for his closest bros. No wonder, his parents were worried about the future of their clan.

Mu Shu only waited 15 minutes and she already received doc.u.ments about Yiu Chunxiu. She read it thoroughly before giving an approval to send it to Gao Yishen's assistant.

No one would suspect that the doc.u.ment was missing some information about Yiu Chunxiu.It was a good thing that Sun Feng understood her viewpoint. She didn't want for history to repeat itself.
