Law Of Creation

Chapter 64 - Disappearance

While Mingyue and company were taking it easy, it was the opposite for the Assassination Squad.

It was a mess.

"Heck! How can a mount move like that? It was literally like a cheetah's movement! Wait no, even cheetah doesn't have any bizarre moves like that!" Viper One had been frustrated by the false accusation from his company.

He, an assassin that was well-known with his tracking skill, was being played by his target! A mere little girl and her little pet!

Not only he lost face in front of his colleague but also received all kinds of disdain and sarcasm.

"Oh sh*t, it is better for me to be the leader! At least I won't make us move around like an idiot! Idiot!" Viper Two was shouting from behind.

". . . Are you really. . . trying?" A transmission from Cobra One was filled with contempt and sarcasm.

As the most capable person in the team, Viper One made the whole team move pissed of himself.

[F*ck! I have been trying all this time but it was useless! I don't know what kind of animal the Fourth Prince wanted to catch!]

[Can't you see it with your platinum dog eyes? That f*ckin animal appeared and disappeared at every corner of the ruins! When we are stalking at the left, this magical mount will disappeared and appeared on the other side!]

[No matter what I do, it is akin to chase a fish in the middle of ocean!]

[I have never failed any tracking mission, but this mission was literally dirtying my clean record! Who was the best in the tracking skill? Me! It's me! Not any of you! All of you didn't know how bizarre this f*cking target!]

[Even my teammates were having fun by stabbing my back!]

[Do you think that I haven't tried hard enough?]

[You all are thinking that I was playing around?]

[Heck! Who the hell am I offending to!]

". . . Sigh. . . Having a. . . Pig-like teammate. . . really a pain. . ." Another voice transmission appeared from his transmitter. His voice was filled with resignation of the fate.

That short voice transmission really made Viper One want to vomit blood. All of this time, as long as his career in the assassination, he was the one who would say those things to other people. He would disdain and look down on the others.

[Why the heck it was reversed now!]

[Who? Who was he offending to? He really wanted to swear to kill this bastard that brought an immense bad luck to him.]

"F*CK! SEE! JUST SEE! IF I CATCH YOU! I WILL DEFINITELY SKIN YOU ALIVE!" His scream destroyed the serenity as he revealed his location to their target.

As an assassin, one had to be able to control their own emotion. But he had failed as he was taunted by all sides, included his teammates. It was one of the basic assassin's codes and the taboo for an assassin.

It was not like he was incompetent, but the target was really cunning! He was in a bizarre situation! His archenemy! His destined enemy! He was angered! His body was trembling because of his intense anger! He was no different with an angered Ashura, but unfortunately. . .

". . . If you can catch it." A soft voice came from behind him.

He was surprised. Viper Two was also surprised.

That short retort made Viper One tongue-tied. His red face couldn't help but became redden, unknown whether it was from the anger or the shame. He fumed until his eyes reddened as well. He was no different from a boiled shrimp.

Even the usually crazy Viper Two couldn't help but stare at the source of the voice. His eyes bulged and his mouth was opened so big until a fist could fit inside his mouth.

Viper Three.

The one who had never created any voice at all.

The one who never replied to anything.

He was literally a cold and expressionless statue.

And he, or maybe called 'she' at last spoke.

And not only spoke, she was clearly retorted their leader! Viper One!

And Viper One coughed blood.

[Damn you! See how I will take my revenge one I catch you!!!]

Meanwhile, Mingyue and company were taking it easy inside the hidden place that was found by Xiao Jing. This place was akin to a cave, but very small and was covered by the ruins around it.

Xiao Wu was controlling her Number Two and was creating trouble for their chaser. Mingyue didn't forbid Xiao Wu since Xiao Wu could improve her skill proficiency, and also they could create trouble for their chasers.

And from their current position, Mingyue could see the total number of their chasers. Eleven people.

[Tsk. Such a number only to chase me. And from their movement, they are clearly a bunch of assassins.] Mingyue sneered when she saw a bunch of black-clothed people that were running around the Number Two.

These few days, Mingyue couldn't make sure whether they were assassins or not since their movement was too organized. And as Xiao Wu disturbed their rhythm, their movement could be observed.

In this way, now Mingyue believed that her conjecture is true.

That assassin's group, or maybe an organization, tried to locate the prime suspect of their colleague's death. It was not because their organization was trying to exact revenge, but rather they tried to clean the stain on their reputation. It was not something unusual for the underground world, since revenge and enmity could be created in such way.

[But the number of the assassins that was send by that organization was very luxurious. It should be normal to send two or three assassins to track me, but why were they sending even eleven assassins? Was it to entrap the non-existent killer?]

[The another possibility was, anything that those assassins were aiming, something unexpected was happened to their prime objective at the Green Mountain. If that organization planned to catch that non-existent killer, then sending a huge number of assassins was not something unusual.]

[What was the thing that they tried to get in the Green Mountain? Wasn't that only an artificial and human-made mountain? Or is there a secret in that kind of place?]

[Wait. Even if they had an objective on the Green Mountain, then is it even worth to infiltrate the Academy? From what she knew, the Academy was a very strict place. All unrelated personnel were not allowed to roam freely on the Academy's area. Especially, the Green Mountain was a closed area because of the Graduation Exam. Was it really worth it to infiltrate in that condition?]

Shaking her head, Mingyue just threw all those thinking behind since she wouldn't get the answer no matter how hard she was thinking. She took it easy while watching the show from a far.

There was a possibility that those assassins tried to push Mingyue to the edge, wishing the non-existent killer to come out and save her again.

[Tsk tsk, do you retard think I will come out so easily?] Mingyue showed a cunning smile that even surprised Xiao Wu beside her.

"F*CK! SEE! JUST SEE! IF I CATCH YOU! I WILL DEFINITELY SKIN YOU ALIVE!" "ALIVE!" "Alive!" "ali-" The echo was resounded all over the ruins.

Mingyue and Xiao Wu were surprised by the scream. It was akin to a strangled chicken in a butcher house.

Both of them were giggling after hearing that scream. It felt like their pain these few days was healed by that frustrated scream.

But it didn't take a long time for them to be silent.

[Something wrong!]

Mingyue was surprised that her body was unable to move around. No, she was able to move a little, but only in a limited space.

She remembered this sensation! It was very similar to Spatial Interference in her previous life!

Spatial Interference was one of the basic usages of Law of Space. Unlike this world that mainly focused on the four basic elements, in that world, there are many other elements that were outside of four basic elements. For example space, time, soul, yin and yang, corpse, blood, and many more.

And Spatial Interference was the most basic usage of the Law of Space, disturbing and limiting the space around the target. In the higher level of Law of Space, the user could distort the space or even teleport as the user wishes.

And the Spatial Interference that Mingyue felt now was the most basic usage of the Law of Space. There was something like an invisible wall around her body. Not only that, she felt that her body was heavier than before because of the pressure.

She was puzzled by the sudden appearance of Spatial Interference, but she kept her clear mind and was trying to figure out the source of the problem. She looked at her left and right.

A minuscule stench, she found a stench smell, the very similar stench from the Green River City. Her heart skipped as she looked around the ruins. But she didn't find anything related to the stench smell.

[Is this stench related to those assassins? But I don't think so since I didn't smell any of that stench smell on their body. What is it. . .] Mingyue knitted her eyebrow in confusion.

While she was in the middle of thinking, Mingyue's vision blanked out all of sudden like someone turned off the light. Her body also lost strength as she couldn't move.

There was no trace of Mingyue or Xiao Wu in the hidden place at the ruins.

They disappeared without any trace.

Xiao Wu Number Two also disappeared, making Viper One was crying in blood.
