Chapter 6.1: A new hope has appeared!

Licinius’s pupils shrank suddenly as he stared at the girl who was just a few inches away.

Of the two recognized beauties in the academy, Noren is indeed unbeatable in appearance, but unfortunately, in terms of body, her hard muscles could be used as an anvil. While Triya is much softer and welcoming to look at.

And the difference is that Triya’s character is tender and kind.

More likeable.

But right now, the charming look in her beautiful eyes, as well as the intention of seduction and temptation, even at this distance, the plain white dress became unnaturally attractive.

It was so natural that it’s likely her true personality.

So, she pretended to be gentle, kind, and pure in the academy for so long?!

“Hahaha, Triya can have humour even in these situations.” Licinius could only respond awkwardly.

No way could he react differently. Noren was right next to him, and he actually felt the temperature around him drop.

“Yeah, just kidding.”

Triya took a half step back, a charming smile bloomed on her fair face, and she said softly, “If that’s the case, then I’ll go home first, Grandma hasn’t been home for the past two days, and I still have a lot of housework to do tonight. if I have the time, I will repay your kindness well.”

After she finished speaking, she bowed and turned to leave.

Licinius froze in place and remained silent, with an extra note in his hand.

He looked down and saw an address written down.

Good god! This woman hinted to him that there’s no one at home tonight, so she can secretly repay him!

And in case he doesn’t know where she lives, she just gave him her address.

He realised that this woman’s image of being a good girl is all but a lie and a facade.

“Don’t be a jerk, right?”

Licinius gasped, and suddenly felt that tonight might indeed be a very exciting night.

“Young master.”

Noren stared at him blankly.

Obviously, the girl also understood the hint in that sentence just now, and her eyes were cold.

“What’s that look you’re giving me? Who do you think I am? I’m your young master, a man of indomitable spirit! Would I accept this kind of thing?”

Licinius tore the note into pieces, and then threw it into the sewer under his feet, “She’s just a classmate, I will not destroy the pure friendship between us, so don’t worry.”

Noren nodded slightly, and her expression softened a lot.

‘Oh, this girl is so easily deceived.’

Licinius sneered, it was just an address, and he had already memorised it after reading it once.

“It seems that Miss Triya is very concerned about Master Licinius.”

Major Hayden said quite meaningfully.

“There is no way!”

Licinius thought to himself that this man is really tactless.

Doesn’t he see Noren beside him?

“Really? Miss Triya is so beautiful, Young Master Licinius must seize the opportunity,”

Major Hayden looked at the girl’s leaving back, looked away, and said solemnly, “Let’s get down to business, Master Licinius, thank you very much for your help today. It’s just that you and Miss Noren were the ones that defeated the thugs, so, it’s only natural that the spoils of war should also be yours…”

He showed a look of embarrassment, “But black magic is involved here, and it cannot be handed down. If the subsequent superiors acknowledge your efforts, we will give you some compensation.”

The guards boarded the carriage with a few remaining survivors and headed straight for the hospital.

“OK.”

Licinius smiled and said, “See you next time.”

Anyway, the most valuable thing has been obtained, so the rest of the compensation doesn’t matter.

Of course, if Noren needs it, she can take it.

Major Hayden bowed his head and left the scene with a large number of garrison troops.

Principal Bann and a group of teachers and students watched the whole process. They had never thought that this noble young master was so brave and resourceful before, and even the major of the Third Guard was polite to him.

You know, the Third Guard does not care whether you are a noble or a commoner.

As long as they look down on you, they will not give a damn about you.

“Okay Noren, we should go too.”

Licinius couldn’t wait to go back and try the magic book, so he greeted a carriage at the door, turned his head and said, “There will be no more classes today, so you can just go back and relax. Noren, let’s have a quiz again, shall we? If you win, I will invite you to eat the best roast leg of lamb in Loma City.”

Noren: “Alright.”

Licinius said, “The question today is, in the fairy tale I told you last time, who has the smallest breasts?”

Noren: “…”

Licinius laughed and said, “Hahaha, don’t you know? It’s Little Red Riding Hood!”

Noren: “Why?”

Licinius said, “Because her grandma was eaten by the big bad wolf! Hahaha, I failed the quiz. As compensation, how about I buy a Little Red Hood for you?”

Noren sneered, “Hehe.”

Everyone looked at the carriage leaving with a blank expression.

They didn’t understand what that meant.

“No matter what, this was another peaceful day in Loma city.”

Principal Bann turned around, looked at his adopted son, and comforted, “It’s okay, Cecil, you have done a good job today, a failure doesn’t mean anything, go back to practising hard, and strive to be promoted to Silver Adventurer! Remember, You are still the pride of the common folk and the light of the common people of this academy!”

Cecil clenched his fists and snorted.

In fact, what he really lost was not because of this failure.

It was because Triya never even looked at him from start to finish.

He doesn’t know why, but he felt like she was extraordinarily unfamiliar today.
