Uchiha's Butterfly

After thirty seconds of fighting with a jōnin, Kaname was already red from her blood, all attempts at attack ended in her getting a new deep gash, but she never gave up.

Kaname crouched under a high kick made by her enemy and slashed with her sword. Kumogakure jōnin parried her slash with his kunai and answered with an elbow hit to Kaname's head. As Kaname got a little disoriented from the impact to her head, he used his kunai to cut through Kaname's hip.

"Your death will be very slow and painful little girl. You killed my brother a minute ago, now, I will kill you" he said, punching Kaname in her sternum leaving her without the ability to breath for a couple of seconds.

'F.u.c.k! I see his attack, but my body can't keep up with his speed.'

Kaname saw Orochimaru obliterating his opponents with his katana.

'Why not? Let's try his moves.' With her Sharingan, Kaname mirrored every slash Orochimaru did, without much success, she managed only to nick the skin of her enemy.

"Oh? You still have some fight in you. Good, I like it when my victim fights back" Kumo jōnin said, slashing at Kaname's left arm.

She tried to block his kunai, but in a moment she understood that her opponent has much more strength behind him. She jumped and pirouetted away, dodging her enemy strike and gaining some distance.

Just before Kaname landed on the ground a blade made entirely of water followed her, deeply cutting into her right leg and drawing blood.

'A water user, my fire techniques won't help me, but…' Kaname hurriedly made a new plan.

She created two shadow copies of her and kept her distance, in a short time her clones were cut clean by another water blades, making her surroundings wet.

'Ehh, I'm drenched as well, this one is going to hurt…' she thought.

Kumo jōnin was on her in a second, his sword, covered by a layer made of water, ready to strike. At this moment Kaname finished the last hand-seal of her jutsu.

"<Raiton: Bakurai>!" Kaname copied the technique that knocked her out last time. The fear that went through her opponent's face was priceless, without the time to dodge the fast-moving lightning bolt, he tried to block her attack.

'Blocking electricity with a metal sword covered in the water?! Hehehe, good luck' Kaname released the jutsu; from her body, shot an electric bolt heading for her enemy. When it hit the jōnin, from the voltage going through his body he lost control of his muscles and dropped on the ground spasming, all around him water puddles started to light up with sparks heading back to Kaname.

'Oh the pain, my old friend, here we go…' she thought, in a blink of an eye she got zapped as well, but she still stood tall on her two feet.

After half a minute of trying to get her muscles under control, Kaname looked at her enemy. Fear gripped her heart, he started to stand back up, his eyes promised murder.

"No one would use this jutsu in close-quarters combat, I didn't expect it-"

"Yeah, shocking isn't it?"

"Now, I would like you to die..." he said, disappearing from Kaname's eyes.

The gut feeling told Kaname that her guts were hurt, her eyes looking down confirmed it. Her belly was impaled by a kunai, a second later she was floored by an ax kick to her head.

"*Ughh*" Kaname voiced her pain and coughed out blood.

'F.u.c.k, I need to get some distance!' she thought, just barely dodging a slash to her head by rolling on the ground. Kaname created another shadow clone and jumped away, using her glowing green hand to heal her newest wound.

Her clone stopped the jōnin for five seconds. Before Kaname finished the healing she was met with a blow to the side of her body, impacting the ground she heard the sound of her breaking bones.

"*Guuh*"

'It's hard to breathe, probably, because of broken ribs' Kaname thought.

"Oh no! A little girl got a booboo. Want me to kiss it to make it better?"

"F.u.c.k you"

"It's time to end you. You made me sweat a little, a good job for someone as young as you. See you in hell" he said standing above Kaname.

'I will not die here!' Kaname attacked.

Jōnin saw Kaname disappear in a swirl of red butterflies, with a small smirk he dispelled the genjutsu. His young opponent that was barely able to move now jumped on him with her sword aiming at his heart. He easily parried the attack and beheaded the desperate girl.

But instead of blood and flying head, there was a smoke cloud.

'Genjutsu and an attack with a clone?' He thought

From behind him, Kaname slashed her sword at enemy jōnin head, without a success - he dodged her attack by replacing himself with a wooden block.

"Die already…" Jōnin said preparing hand-seals to finish the fight with his water jutsu.

'Sorry, Inoichi-san' Kaname created four additional clones, it almost depleted all her chakra reserves, she barely kept her consciousness.

'If you can't kill something with fire, you are not using enough of it!' All five Kaname's shot five <Great Fireball> jutsus at the enemy. His water jutsu intercepted the fireball's enshrouding their surroundings in a dense fog.

'I don't see shit in here!' Jōnin thought, trying to find and finish his victim.

Kaname with the last ounce of her stamina and chakra and her superior eyesight got behind her unsuspecting enemy. With a last effort, she jumped slashing at his head.

Enemy jōnin saw her at last moment and tried to dodge, he ducked but the girl's katana cut through his eyes blinding him.

"*Gaah* Bitch!" he screamed, slashing away at every sound near him.

'At least I'm better than you, I won't leave you to suffer' Kaname thought slowly and with a lot effort standing up and sneaking behind him. She picked up a small stone and thrown it in front of him, with her enemy's back she slashed - ending the fight.

"*Sigh*" Kaname sat on the ground completely spent.

"Fufufu, good job, Kana-chan" Orochimaru stood behind her.

"Yeah, whatever… Were you watching me the entire time? What about your fight?"

"I'm jusst a clone. I would like to congratulate you, you defeated an enemy jōnin ssinglehandedly."

"Why didn't you help me?"

"My dear Uchiha-chan, why sshould I help you? It wass your test"

"*Sigh* I'm too tired to bicker Orochimaru-san…"

"Little Squirt! Are you alright?!" her brother finished his fight and shunshined to her.

"I'm alive Aniki"

"Fufufu, you can take her away Ryuichi-kun, the fight iss over"

He picked up his little sister's bloodied body in his arms and gave her a piggyback ride.

"Hehe, onwards my stead!"

"*Sigh* Yeah-yeah, let's go see mom, she will take care of you."

"Okay, before we get there I will get some shut-eye before we get there," Kaname said, resting her head on her brother's shoulder and drifting away in a blink of an eye.

"Heh, sleep well Little Squirt"

Kaname woke up in a hospital bed when someone laughed way too loudly. Opening her eyes she saw her mother talking with a red-haired woman.

"Aunty Kushina, you're too loud, it's a hospital" Kaname with parched throat weakly said.

A worried mother threw Kushina aside, making her crash into an empty bed.

"Hello, my Little Butterfly, how are you feeling?"

"Hi mommy, nothing more than a little tiredness."

"No wonder, your chakra reserve's were empty, you were out for twenty-four hours. Good job, I heard what you did. Just now we got a letter from Konoha-"

"That was mean Sachi-taichou-" Kushina said, "Hello chūnin Kaname-chan, good to see you in one piece, hehe"

"Hi, aunty, good to see you too. Where is Minato-san?"

"He is at the west front with his team, from his last message I know he is okay"

"Little Butterfly, there is a thing we need to talk about. You're getting too maimed every fight, for now, I'm taking you away from the front - you will train under me. I will make a freaking Tsunade-san out of you."

"But I don't want to leave my friends to fight alone…"

"Don't worry about them, your platoon got a new batch of chūnins, they will protect each other."

"*Sigh* Okay, but I have a condition"

"Yes, Little Butterfly?"

"I want aunty Kushina to train me in fūinjutsu."

"Hehehe, you don't need to ask twice Kana-chan."

"Tomorrow, we will start training. Rest and recover for now Little Butterfly."
