However, I felt a little weak when I saw Sung Yoo-bin’s eyes, which seemed to be ready to burst into tears at any moment. Still, I can at least say something good about her older brother.

Sung Yoo-bin said this because she didn’t know how much effort Kang Yoo-Hyun had put in with the awakeners of the first generation when they were trapped inside the gate. After reading the novel, I knew the story of it, but she didn’t.

Niflheim was never an easy place to survive in just because he was awakened as an SS-class. On the other hand, the rest of the first generation awakeners, who were not SS-classes, got in the way of Kang Yoo-hyun at all times, he did nothing wrong.

However, the public still blamed Kang Yoo-hyun for being the only survivor. Many people criticized him as incompetent for not being able to protect anyone even though he was an SS-class. It was clear that they would’ve more incompetent if they were in the same situation. Then there was an abnormality in a dungeon, so they stuck to Kang Yoo-hyun again. Undeniably, they are a bunch of selfish people.

“So, that’s all you wanted to say?”

Our main character is so rude.

But in the novel, I don’t think he said this during his first meeting with Sung Yoo-bin. Still, isn’t he supposed to beat around the bush? I don’t think he said anything so rude to her so straightforwardly like he did to her now.

When I felt the difference in the characters from the novel again, my expression hardened slightly, and an angry voice rang in my ears.

“Hunter Kang Yoo-hyun…!”

Red flames flickered around Sung Yoo-bin.  I don’t know if she can handle her fire ability properly when it explodes in such a place. Surprised, I waved my hand and shouted.

“Ex–excuse me, Hunter Sung Yoo-bin!”

Her eyes widened slightly as she turned towards me. Her red eyes trembled as if she had finally recognized me.

Kang Yoo-hyun, who spoke in a stiff voice, didn’t listen to my words and continued walking. For some reason, Sung Yoo-bin didn’t stop him, she just stared blankly.

Well, anyway, I’m glad it didn’t turn into a fight. Sighing inwardly, I only realized something was wrong when we entered the parking lot.

His house? Am I going to his house? But why would he drag me there?

In front of me, who was confused, a shiny foreign car came into sight. Knowing that it was Kang Yoo-hyun’s car, I retreated in surprise.

Then, Kang Yoo-hyun looked at me as I struggled and asked in an annoyed tone.

Going to the main character’s house is burdensome. It’s too much!

Why would he do this when he hated having someone in his territory because of his experience of being trapped inside the gate? It was his sanctuary that none of the heroines had ever entered throughout the novel.

However, there was something else that made my mind complicated. It was because Kang Yoo-hyun looked at me as if he was going to devour me with his glaring eyes.

“Why? Are you going to run away again?”

“Run? What do you mean run away? When did I…”

I did. I ran away from Kang Yoo-hyun twice.

Once when I kidnapped Kang Soo-hyun, and another time in the dungeon. Especially in the dungeon, I let him suffer from the side effects and returned through the portal with Eden. Haha, my goodness. Why did I do that?

When I smiled awkwardly, his grip on me became stronger.
