Once Cyrus returned to the battlefield, he noticed that there's a person hanged on the tree with multiple open severe wounds revealing his bones and guts, his limbs were cut off even his third leg wasn't spared, such gory sight can make people puke, but to those people who had been sent to hell, this wasn't much.

There's no need for Cyrus to identify who is this person because he already knew who's this person.

While Cyrus was looking around waiting for Krystal to come out from the forest after composing herself and tell her plan to Adrian, he noticed a person approaching him.

Cyrus looked at the person and noticed that this person is a youth, same age as him, with blonde hair and above-average looks. He wears leather armour with the same style and pattern like the ones that Adrian wore, and just by looking at his blonde hair, he can already guess that this youth is somehow connected to Adrian.

But what bothers Cyrus is that he was walking aimlessly with his head looking at the ground. There's no doubt that this person is depressed.

When the blonde youth was a few feet away from Cyrus, he noticed a person ahead of him and looked at the person.

"!!!" The blonde youth was startled when he noticed that the person a few feet away from him was the handsome youth who had saved them from their tragedy.

But because Cyrus was looking at him, the blonde youth was panicking not knowing what to.

Cyrus looked at the weird guy, before raising his hand and wave it at his c.h.e.s.t level with a smile, "Hey."

"Y-yes!" The blonde youth stood straight up like a soldier facing a drill instructor, which made Cyrus awkward. Why is this dude scared of him? He should be scared instead because of that big rifle on blonde youth's back.

"Is Adrian your?"

"My big brother sir!"

Startled, to think that this youth is Adrian's little brother, comparing the two of them he can see a little resemblance to the two. But this pipsqueak looked hella weak!

"Well, that's surprising I can hardly see the resemblance between the two of you! I thought he was your uncle or something." Cyrus laughed.

Noticing that Cyrus seemed to be a nice guy, the youth sighed in relief, "Many people have said that, which I have to agree." The youth laughed shyly.

Cyrus stretched his hand out asking for a shake, as he introduced himself, "Cyrus, just a simple traveller."

The youth was so surprised that he gulped a mouthful of air when he looked at Cyrus, this young master is initiating a handshake ah! No young master who had strength and beauty would be willing to shake hands to a stranger on nobody and weak person like him.

"P-please, you don't have to make your hand dirty." The youth stuttered. this person is just too nice!

Hearing this Cyrus felt awkward with his already stretched and ready to shake his hand only to end up hanging on the air making his smile turned into wry. "Are you going to leave me hanging like this?"

"I-I don't dare! T-then…" The youth was very fl.u.s.tered, he gulped a mouthful of air and exhaled slowly.

Using both of his hands, he grasped Cyrus' hand and shook them, "I'm Jim Carter, A ranged cultivator!"

Hearing his explosive simple introduction, Cyrus smiled, "Good." He nodded before releasing his hands away. This dude just slapped his hands by grabbing it. Although there's no pain, he unconsciously thought that it was painful.

"You should relax a bit more, it's not like I'm going to hurt you," Cyrus suggested.

"I'm sorry, hehe." Jim scratched his blonde hair, and soon he noticed someone approaching behind Cyrus.

Although Jim had already seen this beauty from far away, but up close it feels like someone pulled his breath away.

Krystal walked out of the forest and noticed Cyrus and a blonde youth, she stopped right beside Cyrus and looked at Jim. "Who's this?"

Cyrus looked at Krystal with a smile, "You know that bulky guy over there? That one is called Adrian Carter and this one is his little brother, Jim Carter." He introduced Jim who had an awe expression on his face.

Thinking that this extremely beautiful lady in front of him is nice like Cyrus, he quickly stretched out his hands and bowed at Kristine, "N-Nice to meet you! This one is called Jim Carter, the Riflemaster!"

Krystal looked at him with a furrowed brow and she had an unimpressed look on her face making Cyrus, who's right beside her feels a lot awkward.

"I've heard your name already, this one is called Yuri ha," Krystal spoke casually that startled Cyrus.

Cyrus on the other hand, his heart skipped as he looked at the lady with '( ⚆ _ ⚆ )' look on his face.

Seeing his dumb expression, Krystal laughed inside and gave Cyrus a smirk.

'Although, I know you're trying to hide your identity, you've already revealed your unique attack patterns! And if you want to use alias names, at least try to think something else!' Cyrus screamed on his mind regretting spouting the name 'Yuri ha' when he had mistaken her for someone else.

Feeling that he wasn't able to receive a touch from a goddess, Jim looked at Krystal and seeing the look on her face, he quickly retracted his arm away and stood stiffly. 'Y-yeah, she's a typical young mistress from a clan.'

Krystal looked at the 12ft long hunting rifle strapped to Jim's back, which made her eyes turned into sparkles with awe!

"Hey Jimmy, that rifle, let me touch it!" Krystal change of attitude quickly stunned the two of them.

"A-ah yes, here." Jim didn't dare to retaliate on being called by his nickname that his older brother always used to call him and quickly gave the rifle to Kristine.

"Aigo aigo! This sweet baby looks nice!" Krystal was extremely excited as she held the rifle, she touched it, feel it, and aim it, she was extremely happy examining the rifle on her hands.

Hearing this, Jim couldn't help to hold his chin and c.h.e.s.t high, he was very proud of his baby! As a cultivator that used weapons, one must treat their weapon as one with their soul because their lives would rely not upon only to their body strength but also to their weapons, so he treats Krystal compliments as a compliment to him as well.

Krystal had an awed look on her face as she stared at the long rifle, her expressions were really sparkling.

Cyrus was stunned to see her like this, she didn't think that she was a fan of guns.

Jim explained every detail about his rifle while Krystal was listening attentively, at every end of the introduction of parts, she would emit "woaa" sounds. And this scene played out like for a half an hour before finally letting go of the hunting rifle with care.

She was still sparkling when she let go of the rifle returning it to its rightful owner. But when she looked at Jim's face, her expression turned dull suddenly which wrecked Jim's blossoming heart into pieces, 'Am I not that interesting!?"

"Jimmy, call your Adrian, I have something to discuss with your elder brother." Krystal turned serious.

Jim quickly turned away with a dejected look on his face while walking towards Adrian.

Seeing Jim dragging himself like that, Cyrus couldn't help to laugh lightly before looking at the lady right beside him, "You won't be able to make a friend like that." He said with a smile.

Stunned for a moment, she felt a little shy before shaking his hand, "It's fine, my clanmates often said that I should pick the right people when finding my own… friends." She said with a smile and looked at Cyrus' eyes.

Seeing Krystal staring at his own eyes, her crimson eyes were a little bit alluring making his heart skip a little and buzz noise could be heard inside his head like. [Hohoo~?] as Lily making fun of him.

"Miss Yuri, Jimmy said you've called me." A very muscular voice interrupted the mood as the two of them break their gaze away before looking at the bald and muscular man.

"That's right, I have some matters to tell you which concern the entire city of Alexus," Krystal said with a serious tone.

Although he hasn't talked to this lady called 'Yuri Ha', he had already seen her strength that even made him feel provoked and she has some weight on her words as well, not only that, her aura feels so noble, completely familiar to those people who have a high background which is why he didn't take Krystal's words lightly.

"Then please… explain." Adrian agreed to listen.

"But first I want to hear your plan regarding this matter, you… won't let go of this right?" Her voice turned serious as she held this matter important, more important on enrolling at the academy.

Adrian was stunned for a moment before his expression turned pained, his eyes were full of frustration, before bitterly replying at Krystal, "I… Actually, don't know what to do… I'll put my men into danger if I notified the guild about this matter and committed a serious crime, not only that, the other two groups of mercenaries are all wiped out and surely the other two guilds will investigate this matter thoroughly… I alone can't fight the Night Gang."

Krystal smiled as she had expected, she crossed her arms together, "You don't have to worry about that, I and Cyrus decided that we're going to handle the Night Gang, while you, on the other hand, deal with the other guild, any problem with that?" She smiled revealing her perfect white teeth.

Adrian was stunned, "What! Letting my matters handled by Miss Yuri and Sir Cyrus is very disgraceful and shameful that I cannot atone, please reconsider!" He quickly kneeled in front of Krystal. He was very shocked that these two people who probably have a strong background handling his matters, he couldn't help to be fearful about it.

Krystal sighed, "Stand up and look." She took something out of her pocket.

When Adrian hesitantly stood up, an object held by Krystal's milky white hand was faced in front of him. Seeing that object, it was an Éclair Clan's crest!

Adrian had his eyes almost bulged out from his eye sockets before looking at Krystal, then at the crest, then at Krystal once again.

She's from Éclair clan!?

No… This can't be, I haven't heard a member of Éclair that has dark hair like this lady in front of me, more importantly, all of them have lightning blue hair colour… Adrian has a massive doubt as he stared Krystal.

Seeing this doubt on his face, Krystal sighed once again, she took the end of her ponytail, with a single swipe of her hand, a beautiful and bright lightning blue silky smooth hair was revealed on the tip of her ponytail, "I'm on undercover, so is there another reason for me not to b.u.t.t in in your matters that could affect the entire city of Alexus?" Her indifferent voice stunned Adrian on place.

He stood there like a stone statue as he stared at Krystal's hair, this hair colour is a bit different from the common members of the lightning clan, this lady indeed has a lightning blue hair, but it also glows dimly… In which there's only one person in the clan that has that unique hair… The infamous high-ranking member of that clan.

As soon as he kept thinking more deeply the more nervous he got. Because his assumptions are directing to the person he doesn't want to meet right now!
